For reference to people who say “4 days isn’t that bad”: Sexual assault can happen in seconds, and that can be a life altering event. Imagine how much assault can happen in in 4 days, even one.

Sirama This. I despise when people label something like forcing a peck on someone’s lips as sexual assault. Was it not good to do? Yes. But was it sexual assault? Absolutely fucking not. It gets downplayed so damn much that talking about rape even sounds like a joke. People literally use rape as a joke these days, like “don’t turn around or i’ll rape u”. I can’t take it, it’s so fucking insensitive.

"it was only 4 days"... I got sexually assaulted for just under 15 minutes and it permanently changed me as person and made my whole outlook on life different, not only that, my sexual assaulter got ZERO punishment for what he did to me. Imagine getting kidnapped for 4 days and your kidnapper/r*pist/assaulter barely getting any jail time. Even a few minutes can change someone entirely. Stop excusing the kidnappers behavior and realize that no matter how long something occurred, there will ALWAYS be some form of trauma. Edit: I wanna also acknowledge the immense fear women/men face after seeing their kidnapper/r*pist/assaulter. These women are so brave for being able to face them in court proudly. For me personally, he works at my local grocery store so I have to see him all the time. I always feel very unsafe and tense seeing him waltz around as a free man. It was to the point I refused even working at that grocery store because I didn't want to see him.

That's exactly what I was thinking! If you've been in a position like that 1 second feels like an hour, an hour feels like a day... it probably felt like forever. I could never understand what that must have felt like for her.
@marli8907
@marli8907 4 года назад
Mr Helo yes the younger woman was sexually assaulted. Beaten r@aped (the word is bleeped in the video because RU-vid will take it down) for four days. She was kept in a torture chamber and tortured physically, emotionally, and sexually. The other woman, the older one, knew her kidnapper. Neither of them were arrested. The law enforcement wasn’t “in on it” when the first describes being rescued she THOUGHT it was someone coming to kill her not to rescue her. The older woman her kidnapper was arrested, and she was allowed to go see him in jail was what she was describing. There’s a whole documentary on her. It’s very sad and very strange. She’s endured so much.

And what I gotta say for those who wanna victim blame and for those who want to minimize or degrade all of us who went through those traumas and traumas of all sorts, walk in our shoes for the amount of years, months, hours, even minutes of the trauma we've faced. People need to be aware of these things and need to be taught how to avoid being in these situations. These girls are heroes in my eyes. They deserve every inch of respect. They are trying to make a difference for this world by talking about what they went through and teaching kids and adults how they can avoid these experiences. These women are brave. They don't just speak for themselves, and they don't just speak for other survivors of kidnapping, but they speak for all of us who went through some serious trauma and are our voices. Yes a robbing is bad, and yes rape is bad. The ones that expierenced this know that what happened to them is worse in their own way and to their selfs. I rescued myself from being raped, yes it was absolutely traumatizing but it was traumatizing to ME. Something worse might've happened to someone but, i don't need to compare that. I am nearly 21 and recently started unearthing these memories buried deep within me of visits with my great grandfather when I was a child. It shook me to my core because everything they said was very real, I was brainwashed to believe I was the special one and I never thought it was anything bad, but was told to keep it a secret to avoid upsetting my family. So they wouldn’t feel “less special”. I just forgot about it, or maybe deep down knew it was wrong and buried it. I recently found out it happened to a lot of my cousins too, and my little sister so it’s still ongoing. I think this was an important video in all aspects, now I know which ladies to follow for more guidance. It breaks my heart

Dahmer claimed to have no memory of murdering Tuomi, yet stated he must have battered him to death in a drunken stupor. His body was dismembered in the basement of Dahmer's grandmother's house and the remains discarded in the trash. No remains were ever found.) 🙏 Jamie Doxtator, 14: October 1987 (met Dahmer outside a gay bar in Wisconsin. Doxtator was lured to West Allis on the pretext of earning $50 for posing for nude pictures. Dahmer strangled Doxtator and kept his body in the basement for a week before dismembering him and discarding the remains in the trash. No remains were ever found.) 🙏 Richard Guerrero, 25: March 1988 (drugged and strangled in Dahmer's bedroom at West Allis. Dahmer dismembered Guerrero's corpse in the basement, dissolved the flesh in acid and disposed of the bones in the trash. He bleached and retained the skull for several months before disposing of it. No remains were ever found.) 🙏 Anthony Sears, 24: February 1989 (Sears was the last victim to be drugged and strangled at Dahmer's grandmother's residence; he was also the first victim from whom Dahmer permanently retained any body parts. His preserved skull and genitals were found in a filing cabinet at 924 North 25th Street following Dahmer's arrest in 1991) 🙏 Eddie Smith, 36: June 1990 🙏 Ricky Beeks, 27: July 1990 🙏 Ernest Miller, 22: September 1990 (Miller was a dance student whom Dahmer encountered outside a bookstore. According to Dahmer, he was especially attracted to Miller's physique. He was killed by having his carotid artery severed before being dismembered in the bathtub, with Dahmer storing his entire skeleton in the bottom drawer of a filing cabinet and his heart, biceps, and portions of his legs in the freezer for later consumption.) 🙏 David Thomas, 23: September 1990 🙏 Curtis Straughter, 16: February 1991 (approached by Dahmer as he waited at a bus stop near Marquette University. Dahmer lured Straughter to his apartment, where the youth was drugged, and then handcuffed and strangled before being dismembered in the bathtub. His skull, hands, and genitals were retained.) 🙏 Errol Lindsey, 19: April 1991 (the first victim upon whom Dahmer practiced what he later described to investigators as his "drilling technique," a procedure in which he drilled holes into the victim's skull, through which he injected hydrochloric acid into the brain. According to Dahmer, Lindsey awoke after this practice, after which he was again rendered unconscious with a drink laced with sedatives, then strangled to death. Dahmer flayed Lindsey's body and retained the skin for several weeks. His skull was found following Dahmer's arrest.) 🙏 Tony Hughes, 31: May 24, 1991 (Hughes was a deaf-mute whom Dahmer lured to his apartment upon the promise of posing nude for photographs. As Hughes was deaf, he and Dahmer communicated using handwritten notes. He was strangled and his body left on Dahmer's bedroom floor for three days before being dismembered, with Dahmer photographing the dismemberment process. His skull was retained and identified from dental records.) 🙏 Konerak Sinthasomphone, 14: May 27, 1991 (the younger brother of the boy Dahmer had assaulted in 1988. Sinthasomphone was drugged and had hydrochloric acid injected into his brain before Dahmer left the youth unattended as he left the apartment to purchase beer. When he returned, he discovered Sinthasomphone naked and disoriented in the street, with three distressed young women attempting to assist him. When police arrived, Dahmer persuaded them he and Sinthasomphone were lovers and that the youth was simply intoxicated. When police left Sinthasomphone with Dahmer in his apartment, Dahmer again injected hydrochloric acid into Sinthasomphone's brain, and this proved fatal. His head was retained in the freezer and his body dismembered.) 🙏 Matt Turner, 20: June 30, 1991 (on June 30, dahmer attended the Chicago Pride Parade. At a bus stop, he encountered a 20-year-old named Matt Turner and persuaded him to accompany him to Milwaukee to pose for a photo shoot. Turner was drugged, strangled, and then dismembered in the bathtub. His head and internal organs were put in the freezer and his torso subsequently placed in the 57-gallon drum Dahmer purchased on July 12.) 🙏 Jeremiah Weinberger, 23: July 5, 1991 (met dahmer at a gay bar in Chicago and agreed to accompany him to Milwaukee for the weekend. Dahmer drilled through Weinberger's skull and injected boiling water into the cavity. He later recalled Weinberger's death to be exceptional, as he was the only victim who died with his eyes open. Weinberger's decapitated body was kept in the bathtub for a week before being dismembered; his torso was placed in the 57-gallon drum.) 🙏 Oliver Lacy, 23: July 12, 1991 (a bodybuilding enthusiast whom Dahmer enticed to his apartment on the promise of money for posing for photographs. Lacy was drugged and strangled with a leather strap before being decapitated, with his head and heart being placed in the refrigerator. His skeleton was retained to adorn one side of the private shrine of skulls and skeletons Dahmer was in the process of creating when arrested one week later.) 🙏 Joseph Arthur Bradehoft, 25: July 19, 1991 (dahmer's last victim. Bradehoft was a father of three children from Minnesota who was looking for work in Milwaukee at the time of his murder. Had a quick look at Alicia's Insta, and oh my days, she's an actual hero. I'm not joking: from 14 years old, she's made it her mission in life to speak out about internet safety and child abduction. She's studied and got a Master's degree in forensic psychology. She's doing campaigns to get sentencing toughened up for offenders, and doing information films showing people how to look at conspiracy theories about abduction and trafficking with a critical and analytical eye. She hasn't just walked on from what happened to her - she's dedicated her life to making sure others don't go through the same trauma and to saving & aiding those who do. This woman is an actual hero, no exaggeration.

Jamie Robb-Morrison I almost had a problem like that with my case...it was a really big age difference but we were still in school and I thought I had loved him and not only was I scared but I didn’t want to get him in trouble. The only reason I spoke up about it (4 years after it happened) was because my friend got date raped by him and asked if i could speak up (she already knew cuz he bragged about it)

I am eternally grateful for both of your stories. You both are SO INCREDIBLY BRAVE, and I am so thankful that this type of information is available for our youth (and anyone else who might learn from it). That type of manipulation is so real and it gives me solace to hear that both of you were resilient and made it out okay. You are both so beautiful and strong and I love to see you both alive, happy and smiling. I wish I would’ve had this type of resource as a child, but it makes me so happy that others have the chance to see past the manipulation by hearing your stories.

I remember a time when I still lived in a small town in Wisconsin near Green Bay, where I was almost kidnapped as a child. I was maybe 7-8 years old, and I was walking down the street from my bus stop. My house was directly down the road from the bus stop at an intersection, near my neighbor’s dairy farm. As I was walking down the road, a man in a white sedan type car slowly started driving next to me. At first I payed no attention, but then he rolled down his passenger side window and started to talk to me. Thankfully at this age, I knew better than to talk or go with strangers, but I did slightly slow down my pace and tried to listen to what he was saying. I don’t remember exactly what he was saying, I think it was something along the lines of “Hey I lost my puppy around here, could you help me find him?”. I knew something was off and I began to pick up my walking speed. However, the man continued driving next to me in pace with my walking speed, asking me the same thing or asking for me to get in his car. I then remember hearing the drivers side door open, and I had a feeling of what he would try to do, so I bolted down the street as fast as I could, not even trying to look back. I got home safely, but I believe the man had tried to follow me home. My parents were not home, but my older sister was, and she noticed that there was a strange man knocking on our door. I was able to tell her about what happened to me, and she called my mom while not answering the door at all. The man left eventually. To this day, the memory of that happening has left psychological scars within me. I think part of my somewhat paranoid disposition and trust issues stems from this one event, along with others that happened as well. At this time, I also was diagnosed with ADHD, so the interaction between the two probably contributed to my current mental health. I rarely talk about this with anyone, in fact I don’t think I ever actually told my parents what happened, at least not in its entirety. I realize in comparison to what has happened to survivors, that my story pales in comparison, but I hope sharing this story will help others in some way, or at least spread awareness of kidnapping.

The phrase "At least it wasn't..." or "... isn't that bad" is very close to my heart because my mom was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer (a week more and it would have been stage four) three years ago and people would legitimately say "At least it wasn't stage 4" or "breast cancer isn't that bad" and it was probably the most insensitive thing I have ever seen. My mom went through an immense amount of pain and even though she's okay now, she is still in so much pain every day. DON'T EVER say these phrases to anyone, no matter how easy their situation seems to you because you do not know how deep that pain really goes.

I was almost kidnapped once when I was 11. This is a story I've never completely told anyone, but I need to let it out now. One summer when I was eleven, I was out cycling with my brother, cousin and a few friends in our township. When we were cycling through a back road, I saw this old man, who I frequently see around, carrying a pile of branches and twigs from the place he lived to another location to drop it off. He was really old (around 70 years) and I felt bad for him when I saw him carrying all of that on his head alone. So I stopped the cycle and asked him if he needed help. My brother's and friends kept saying that he's fine on his own and he doesn't need help. But I stopped anyway. The man accepted the help I offered and we walked to the place he was collecting everything from, which was just a few meters away. I carried something and walked with him to the location. We walked about 10 meters then turned left to a road we kids don't usually take cos it has an abandoned house that we believed was haunted. I was scared he would take me to that house but just before we reached the house, he turned into this dead looking place on this right side of the road. Now, all the roads in the township has trees on the side but this side had dead trees and twigs and it was really scary. When he asked me to follow him, I just shook my head. So he insisted and when I kept resisting, he pulled my shoulder. Now this is the part I don't talk about. So I walked about 5 meters into the dried up land, and then stopped cos he kept going. When he saw that I had stopped, he came and grabbed my breast. Now, as I was just 11 and my breasts were still developing, it hurt like shit. That took my by surprise and I just threw all the twigs on his feet and ran out into the road screaming for my cousin (as he was the only one in that group who was older than me so I looked up to him). I started crying while screaming at them to take the cycles and go. We cycles all the way home like we were getting chased. When I reached home, I told my mom on what happened but she didn't believe I was getting kidnapped. My cousin and brother's don't believe it either cos they didn't see what was happening. They still don't believe me to this day. I was young when this happened so I only knew about kidnapping but now that I look back, I know that I wasn't going to just get kidnapped that day. My parents taught me to always be aware of strangers and that put a fear in my head. That fear is the thing that made me run that day. I shudder to think of what would've happened if I didn't have that instinct to run at that exact moment. The only advice I want to give is please listen to your parents when they tell you to beware of strangers. It's something everyone says but it's actually really important. So don't take that lesson lightly. Please.

I was also kidnapped once, almost the same as one of them. Being raped multiple times everyday for 1 year I was very young at that time I thought it was normal so I went along with it... I was kidnapped around 2 years. This is not a thing to joke about. I just wanted to come on here to share my story to, if this has ever happened to you, please share your story to get help and earn your rights I know it might be very very stressful but it’s like a bandage do it fast then you get over with it trust me I had to do it to it helps, for me at least I got out of depression, I did cut cause I thought it was the way to go if you are reading this you can make a difference you can make a change you can do it. Find help even if it causes somthing, it goes away please you can do it a lot of people do including me.

The fact that people told her 'oh yeah four days that's not that bad' Like it was just four days away from parents. Like oh you just got 'lost' for four days. She was kidnapped scared she'd never see her family again, afraid she was going to die, and on top of that being assaulted and tortured for all four of those days. That's horrifying.

Legit one of the most infuriating documentaries I’ve seen to date. I remember when everyone was talking about how crazy the whole story was & how one guy got away with charming that many people. I didn’t even know there was 6 other girls involved 😣 wtf the justice system failed these families

There's a few documentaries that absolutely enrage me, this was definitely one of them. Jan had every single adult in her childhood fail her and on such a disgusting level. It broke my heart. Any one who can walk out of this kind of trauma and fear alive are incredible!
