Romania Skelistan, we are in the land of the Szekels! Today, we will open the doors of a forgotten Turkish nation with Atilla. Atilla is actually a Hungarian living in Romania. He is also an Anthropologist. It will provide us with the flow of information on this adventure.
First, we enter the country of Szekels. Along our way, we see plenty of Szekel gates.
So who are the Sequels?
They live among the hills and among the Carpathians on the eastern side of Transylvania in present-day Romania. According to their culture, the Szechelles are the Hun descendants of Atilla, who survived in the Carpathian region until the arrival of the Hungarians in 895. Scientists hold two views on this issue. The first is the opinion that the Sekels are Hungarian, and the other is that the Sekles are Turkish. The names of the Sekel Turks are mostly Turkish and they have their own Sekel Alphabet, very similar to the Göktürk Alphabet.
Here in Transylvania they live in tribes. Mounted Warriors were known to be good warriors! They were tax exempt. Because they paid the tax with their blood by fighting. Their main task was to protect the borders of the kingdom.
As for the Szekel gates: the gates go back to the Sumerian times. (But this is a claim, Atilla tells us.) This is because these great gates are similar to the gates of Sekel in the City of Ur and other Babylonian and Sumerian cities. The Szechs consider themselves linked to the Sumerians.
The continuation of the video will be very interesting to everyone: We visit the tomb of King Charles of England. Yes, you heard right, the King's tomb is here:
So why?
King Charles of England, who came to Romania for the first time in 1998, fell in love with Transylvania at first sight. Since that day, he has made it his mission to protect the village life and nature of Transylvania. One of the places he got his hands on in Viscri Village. Here is his own grave.
We are invited to a Sekel's house. At the Geyik House, we taste delicious Sekel meals with their family.
We are in Sekelistan with the sponsorship of Fatih Koparan Just English Language Schools (www.justenglis...).
