I'm always so amazed by these internet cafe rooms that are so affordable but yet so clean and offers such a comprehensive range of facilities. I don't think we have such accommodation choice in Singapore. It will be nice to have them. :D
Thanks Lee Ling for leaving the comment😃 Internet cafe is the cheapest way if you want to stay overnight somewhere in Japan. There are internet cafe-style accomodation places in almost all the cities in Japan, which is really helpful for someone who wants to kill time for a while or looking for cheap hotels to stay.
@@kyoungd tbh I am unsure if I would want to stay in one if there was one in the United States. Because I feel like customer service has declined here in Michigan and other states that with the low prices I don't believe that we would get the same kindness.
Japan does many things that I don't believe could be done here, or at the very least, done easily. The way people are here would just lead to those privileges and amenities being abused. The Japanese people have a fundamental respect for things.
I love Tokyo... Always provides so many different options to stay overnight. I'm really impressed from this kind of internet cafes. I wonder how quiet are for sleeping 😌. Thanks for sharing 😊😊
if you wanna live dont live in tokyo as it is expensive as hell and the people are very individualistic/hypercapitalist, live near the outer of it or other prefecture like nagoya near osaka, or kitakyushu
The entrance might have been cramped but it's extremely spacious and I do like it it just basically a room with padding on the floor. Something as a kid I would have loved
I love watching your videos. I've always wanted to visit Japan, but now even moreso. Do you have any videos where you visit any of the arcades or video game stores in Tokyo? If not, would you be willing to make one? I'd be very interested to see them. Thanks so much. Keep that great content coming.
it must be startling for japanese to arrive in america with all the noise and inconveniences. japan seems so much more automated, quiet, clean and not as expensive.
I have been enjoying your channel. My children want to visit Japan and I appreciate these videos, from the train stations to the walk to capsule hotels to the tours of manga libraries to the food and if the door locks or not. Thank you! Gives us a taste of travel while we are not yet ready to go ourselves. That yogurt soft serve looks amazing. Does the standard Japanese Curry served at the internet cafe capsule hotels have meat? We are vegetarian, so just curious. Thanks from the US :)
I am sure that vegetable only is impossible in this place. And pretty much the entire Japanese culinary use always any kind of animal protein. If you are vegan, be sure that will take you a lot of time searching and money to go to those vegan restaurants that are rare and more expensive. You can buy small rice portions and salad in convenience stores, but will be sad spend days eating the same poor thing instead normal local food.
I enjoy the natural sounds of Tokyo especially the Yamamoto line ding dong tones Cafe are great during the day but what about at night? my overnight fly always arrives 6 am , where can I sleep until my 3pm hotel checkin.? Thanks
Hi, thanks for leaving the comment! So, this would defintely be the place where you should kill time until that time😀 You can also stay overnight like I did in the video.
@@travelgeekphotography everyday I’m in Tokyo via utube thanks to people suck as yourself, Thankyou Have you stayed in or know of Lawson gran customer cafe kabukicho? Thanks again
Yeah, there was almost no space for eating on the table haha😂 Apart from that, that was a great room we we can use for a short time or even overnight on a budget. Thanks Slappin for leaving the comment!
@@travelgeekphotography I'm glad you got a bigger table in the private room on the bus 🙂 that bento box was pretty cool. (I think its called Bento...?)
@@travelgeekphotography cool. I know you told us on the video but I wasnt sure I remembered correctly. I showed a guy at work that it heats up. He said it was cool and the beef looked good. 🤤
@@slappinsillies Wow! I'm so so glad to hear you share the self heat-up bento with someone! That was my first time seeing the bento heats up by itself without microwave. Brilliant😆
But the things its so different from a hotel or hostel is, you are not free from leaving the cafe during your stay, we must inform the reception and they shows super high concern on why you hv to leave temporarily, its my experience staying in a cyber cafe in tokyy2 years ago
Curry is the most economic sound if youre running a place like this, all you need is to cook it once in a large batch and re-heated it multiple times for days, and re-heated curry tastes way way better than the fresh one.
Wow all you can eat soft serve ice cream. To bad there are no assorted toppings to go with it. But free drinks and ice cream alone alone is worth staying there overnight for. 😄
For a capsule hotel that's pretty luxurious. I could live there if it had windows and didn't feel like a 4 star prison. But I could stay there for a week eating curry drinking 7-up and reading manga very easily.
Yes, the fact that a more extensive menu for food and alcohol was not available is a big disappointment and is a 'bait and switch'. They advertise something good, you book your stay and then it's not there. But the room was clean as was the shower room. The desk was too small and the table was not a comfortable height for eating but for $17 in the heart of Tokyo it was a good price.
$17 in the Heart of Tokyo is the deal of the fkin century. How hard is it to leave the hotel and take ten steps in any direction to find all the food and drink you want???
