@@Gossamer though I’m not a fan of sea cucumbers and abalone, they are indeed traditional delicacies in China and some other Asian countries. They taste quite nice if prep properly and have a jelly like texture :)
That stuff is in the jumping Buddha soup 佛跳墙 and it's so laborious that we can only taste it during weddings or Chinese new year if the family is hardcore celebrating it
