yup that's the same reason for me haha- i just couldnt be bothered setting them up, especially since they cant be automated because you have to harvest plants by hand
The poll i mentioned at the end of the video has now ended- Stranded Deep won! Also, we should be starting to stream Satisfactory weekly in a fortnight or so, and i’ll start proper work on our first MEGA factory once update 8 hits the main branch of the game- I REALLY HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED THIS ONE! ROCK AND STONE!! Wait- wrong game…
I like those videos, go on! You may try Update 8, but this could end up in a great loss, if the final version can't use those save files. (Not very likely) Still Update 8 has some major issues, so for real building, you should stay with the early version. By the way, the factory cart is designed only to be used on concrete or other build platforms. It is nearly uncontrollable on natural ground.
33:50 Yeah, aluminium refinement is the step where I always use the Satisfactory Calculator to build at any kind of scale, the ratios become way too complicated. My only "pro tip" is that trying to route the water back from the aluminium scrap production is a fools errand and bottling, then deleting it is much easier to plan around.
Very happy to finally see this video finally come out, ive been excited to see how you’d improve since you said you’d be making a second 100 days for satisfactory and even from the start you dont dissapoint! Your work for the architechture and design of the power tower was great, circles can make for such great designs in satisfactory and i used a similar one myself back in my previous world before the one im using to prepare for update 8. The Skate park was such a goofy idea and i loved it, im probably gonna have to make one of those for myself now when im going insane from building nonstop. I agree that aluminum is a mess lol, i have alot of trouble with it as well but im slowly learning better ways to set it up and you had a great idea with all the blueprints for it. so glad you got to see the jethog on your hardrive hunt too! LOL, I cant wait to see what other work you do in your future satisfactory videos, and i hope you can end up earning those 1000 tickets too :p
thanks a bunch! i'm definitely still learning, but i feel like im in a place now where i can make massive projects and be really happy with them! also, skate parks should hands down be a part of every pioneer's worlds tbh
I just got into this game a few days ago and stumbled on the first 100 days while doing some research. Watched them both back to back and I have to say, these were AMAZING videos. The amount of time and love you've put in here really shows, I hope your channel continues to grow ever larger and you find great success in this space. Would love to see an episode 3 some time :)
Once again a great video. I cant wait to finish it. I would love to see more satisfactory on ur channel as well! Also how did you not freak out at 23:17 i literally fell of my chair
Loved this new vid! Great job with all the progress, and big kudos on the massive editing project of this video. You keep things entertaining and it's a joy to watch. Also, I love designing/building huge mega bases, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Can't wait!
I very much like your play-style. Satisfactory is predestined to burn out of if it starts to feel like work, so switching to spaghetti conveyors is probably a smart idea. Glad you’ve posted the short cause i somehow missed that upload!
ayy im glad you saw it! It definitely can start to feel a little too much like an actual job if you try to make everything absolutely perfect, but i think i've got a nice way to avoid burnout in the future whilst still making clean factories!
Lol im still here after 400 hours, having spent 85% of my time fiddling with trains, with half open boxes of various colors that house my machinery. Here you are after only 100 building circular megatowers housing over 150 fully powered fuel generators. Your work is amazing!
Genuinely thought you were another big shot yter ive never heard of until i looked at your sub count. Never would have guessed that such quality content would come out of such a small channel! Keep it up!
I don't see a ton of comments below on this so ... the problem with the water byproduct in aluminum wasn't due to the pipe being higher as it can still happen. The problem is the water extractors also hold a 200m^3 fluid buffer of water - which means they're trying to push through a full pipe of water. This prevents your return flow from being used and it backs up. You just need to have a valve on the water extractors' pipe and set it at the input rate you need. The return water will always be needed by the refineries and not back up. The real pro move is to create a priority junction where the return water is the higher priority so its always used first. But its just easier to use a valve and not worry about doing it right lol (which is what I do). Thanks for the video! You're doing great so far!
Woah, this is really good one. Thank you for your hard work you put into this one and a half of an hour full joy and fun! I can't even imagine a volume of background work you made for that but it turned to be amazing! Thank you once again!
10:23 - that building looks amazing ! Kudos to you! I Love it! I don't have anywhere near enough patience or creativity to build anything like that .😭.LOL
i appreciate how your style of gameplay appears to make things work and not focus on making it look neat lol hopefully that is not offensive. I focus more on efficiency and making it look as neat a possible but avoiding making my build as compact as possible. i dig your style, hope to see more.
Loved it! There seemed to be a sliding scale through the entire video, ranging from the Organized Perfection of the Power Tower, to the Overcooked Spaghetti of "This is just a temporary fix I won't need too many of these anyways." But all of it was the "correct" way to play the game. Even the skatepark. Especially the skatepark. (Well, other than some of those Alternate Recipe choices, of course) And I thought your blueprints for long-distance belting looked very nice. When you get back to the game, good luck with the Space Elevator Parts! (Tip: Work on the Assembly Director System FIRST so that can run while you build the other three parts. I had to build a massive factory to simply run two assemblers making 0.75/min each...and you need 4000 of the things.) Extremely high quality video, well done.
I've never been prone to arachnophobia myself, but after encountering the spiders in this game when I first played it, I quickly turned on arachnophobia mode, but since I already knew how the spiders looked and acted like, the cat faces just made them even more terrifying, since they would essentially just be horrific spider creatures dressed up in creepy cat costumes. That's what made me install the first and only mod I've ever used throughout my countless hours of Satisfactory... Real Arachnophobia Mode. To hell with those monstrosities. I play this game to ruin my brain with complex mathematics and soil the planet with huge factories, not my pants. Also, that you managed to find a Jetpack Johnny Hog is insane to me, as I've yet to encounter one... (He drops an actual Jetpack in case you didn't pick it up when you got back for your stuff..) Other than that.. Great video. Alright, now I actually finished the video and that you found, not 1, but 2 Jetpack Johnny Hogs is just nuts.. Also, don't know if you figured it out by the end, but you can hold LMB when using explosives to actually throw them, instead of gently placing them on enemies.
you´re actually a very underrated youtuber, i rarely am able to watch a video for 1,5 hours but you just catch me somehow. I wish you great luck on your RU-vid journey :)
28:59 I feel you there. Never had a problem with real spiders, but in Satisfactory they are something else. Playing with arachnophobia mode on since it's in the game.
BTW, while launching yourself for travel is pretty funny actually building the pipe-line results in much faster (and predictable) travel. 15 entrances is what I use, you can cross half the map in about 10-20 seconds with that.
Loved watching the 100 days, so i just had to watch the next video, being this 200 days, I've got at least 100h in the game and havent progressed this far... good job.
Wow, you have done everything expect for uranium (since you unlocked the hazard milestone just at the end). I'm not even halfway done yet! It's very interesting how differently everyone plays Satisfactory. And I really like your planning and mass producting for some materials you really need the most. What I need to know is how you would deal with Uranium now. Very good video. I enjoyed the last two videos (from day one to 200 straight). Thank you for your playing the game with 100 days challenges
I've been waiting for this i've watched your previous video's 4 times now because no one else makes satisfactory 100 days. Im excited to watch this one now🎉🎉 and im already looking forward to 300 days🙃
wow, thanks so much! there wont be another satisfactory 100 days, but honestly, with the projects i have in mind they'll probably take near 100 hours each so they might as well be
Love the vid. You don’t actually need the valves in your fuel plant by the way. Because it goes down, it will autofill. There is a great satisfactory liquid guide out there somewhere you might like. Liquids play a big part in the future
yeah i've really gotta try to fully understand liquids at least before i get into nuclear stuff... but hey at least the valves on the fuel tower dont *stop* it from working
@Br4dl89 My Brother and my Word playtime is 2339:03:10 (H:M:S) . It is on a Server so we didn't play all the time and had a break in playing Satisfactory but it's a long time. You're much further into automation then we and you did it in 200 hours. You are very good at the game. Applause 👏👏👏👏
Great sequel to the first video. You surprised me by not falling into the railroad rabbit hole. Hope to see you finish Phase 4 in the future and get your hands on that golden coffee cup!
In my latest playthrough my favourite project was also the fuel power plant, I hit a lot of similar notes like actually decorating a building, not just floating platforms and coloring the pipes(and everything else too). I did the build in two phases, because I wanted to squeeze out every single bit of possible power out of my chosen oil field(the Blue Crater one down in the southeast corner in my case), so I first turned all oil into Heavy Oil Residue, that to Diluted Packadged Fuel, unpackage it, then turn as much as possible into Turbo Fuel. This was allready a massive build that I spent about a week on, but it was nowhere near what my final plan was, but I needed to get Blenders for the much better Diluted Fuel recipe first(that one doesn't need canisters). In case you're wandering, yes, you get much more fuel this way than just refining it straight from Crude Oil. Oh! By the way, this is also true for Rubber and Plastic, if you turn Oil first into Polymer Resin and that to Rubber/Plastic you get more than from the standard recipe. Mostly useful for Rubber, for Plastic the difference is honestly negligeble. By the time the Turbo Power Plant was done it was an enormous crimson building(with TURBO written on the side) that was visible from half-way across the map despite literally being in a crater. I only pupm the fluids up, so the power production fluctuates constantly due to the fluid-dynamics simulation, but it gives more than 120k megawatts so that's no issue. It was more than enough power to take me to the end of the game. And the oil field on the north shore is my second favourite piece from that game, I used all of that oil to make as many Super Computers as I possibly could and used half- and quarterpipes to make a tunnel for all the pipes and extractors.
Watched the first video yesterday and now I am watching this one. I have to say your video is too good. It is distracting me from my own game xD. I hope you get a big jump and subscribers because you deserve it.
Pause. YOU HAVE ONLY 3k SUBS!!!?!?! I misread and saw 3 mil, and I was like “sounds about right” you deserve way more than you have, but your prob gonna blow up like tomorrow or something and make this comment obsolete.
Fuel plants works best if you running at 250% run last one at 100%. This because more pipes to the last one will have the largest delay and the logic that the pipes use, has issues with division. I found if you leave the area a generator will run out of fuel after 3 hours.
I came down here to leave a like....... and then I saw the criminally small amount of subscribers you have for your content..... and THEN I saw the very first comment saying the exact same thing. Keep it up your content is great!
That’s also about where my previous playthroughs have ended. I tried to write down what I needed to make nuclear power working, but it was just too much. Maybe I’ll get to it in the game I’m currently playing. I reached tier 7 and 8 so I don’t have many tings left before I have to take the decision again
14:09 get some batteries or smthn, turn off all the fuel generators, wait until everything is completely full of fuel, oil, etc. Then turn them all back on and tada! Sometimes liquids can be finicky so while it does consume what it says, it might not be consistently getting it(but it will get it at the proper rate over time) so that helps smooth things out, and I’m pretty sure is a permanent fix(unless power shuts off, then you have to redo it)
14:50 your dwarven genes are jumping over into other games 😂 Seriously though I love your editing style and your builds look amazing!! Also, props for colour-coding your pipes, I could never lol
it takes time, but it's totally worth it! i find that it really helps to be able to share your builds with others... gives more of a reason to try to make things look nice!
please can you do a compilation like this of 200-300!! amazing work, I can't imagine how long this all took for you but congratulations on the hard work and you are massively underrated! thank you for doing this, it is one of the best satisfactory videos out there!!
i'll definitely be looking into alternate recipes for future builds, but i dont think i had (or have) that one just yet! But i figure eventually i'll get into nuclear stuff and i'll likely stop feeding oil into the tower to get more plastic/rubber, since i wont really need oil power anymore :)
The fact that this whole video is well-edited throughout is very impressive. Eager for the next installment, however long and whatever form that may take. Only minor complaint is that perhaps you could put timestamps for roughly when each song in the description plays, to make finding them a little easier.
Thankyou! This is only my first time playing the game so i’m not sure, but if you just wanted to unlock everything and do nothing else then i think you could do it in about 250 hours
The outside of the tower looks very much like the one from the Elder Scrolls' Imperial City. Looks great! I still haven't figured out how do circles for shit in this game.
you arent the first person to say that! Having never played the elder scrolls games, it's funny how similar they actually are after googling it- also dont worry it took be a good while to actually figure out the circle haha
Maybe it's just the way I play, but I was so surprised to see you didn't get the bombs and detonator by now! It would've of the enemies a lot easier to deal with and it's great for felling trees.
i have... but i think i should play through the vanilla game first hahaha- who knows... maybe in 3 years you'll get an 'I SPENT 100 DAYS IN SATISFACTORY PLUS' :P
