The GTA 3 cover with a white background has become exclusive to european countries. It was going to be the worldwide cover art but it became one of the couple things Rockstar Games had to change following the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. They thought the cover art was too raw for the time and went with the comic book style. While you can still find PS2 copies of GTA 3 with the old cover art here, over in the US you won't be able to find it.

Damn lol, I remember owning the "Inroduction lore disk" of GTA SA from the Special Edition after buying the game from the cheap but shady store near my old place, that place sold mostly cracked/stolen disks though lol so it's probably worth nothing. Also, the music is a bit strong and loud at times, just saying incase you make another one of these.

It's so cool seeing these games get their own rare copies that aren't normally found on stores like gamestop, I remember getting the special edition of San andreas

Thank you for this video I’m 34 years old and this video helped me think of the good times in the past because obviously gaming sucks now I’m from the US and when I was able to finally get Grandtheft auto on Xbox one the double pack came out you could only imagine how excited I was every day coming home from school I still play all the 3-D era games on my computer modded to this day watching your channel in the background as a fiddle around with the game really good times for me

Do that classic trilogy include GTA1 with the intros (BMG/DMA) and the background music in the menu? Or just a copypaste of the rockstar classics collection? Recently I've stuck to the '97 iso which has to be mounted to launch the game.

Okay, so I got to the point where there is LA Noire (and I'm French). So the color black is noir. But if you're talking about something gendered as female, you add an e after the color name (blue - > bleu - > bleue) LA being a city, which is gendered as female (une ville), the adjective will have an e. What makes it even funnier is that la is a determiner for female gendered things and la noire could translate to the black, not just the color, but something that is black and female. (I don't know why I try to give grammar lessons at 2 in the morning, but I try to justify my degree in English civilization and literature lol)

They actually used the Japanese GTA cover as a billboard texture in GTA3. You can see it in witchita gardens on the street that runs along the water near the bridge to your safehouse.

Canis canem edit is the ps2 version. All other versions are the remaster called bully scholarship edition

That orange one trilogy (with came in Poland too as you mentioned) was an Cenega series calls "Classic Edition", they released old games with cheap price.

Actually, GTA V wasn't released on PS3 in Autumn either. It was still in the Summer Season, albeit very late. Released on the 17th, and Autumn started on the 22nd of 2013.

The American cover of GTA 3 was changed from the UK cover because of 9/11 (i think)

I'm South African and the version of Bully we got for PS2 was also called Canis Canem Edit. I doubt it's for any censorship reasons, we just usually got the UK versions of games. Loved the swag though, thanks for the video.

2:12 There's a Czech version of this one, the same orange box, probably the same DVD yet different name on case (GTA Trilogie)

Bully in south america kept its name (legit copies), but it wasn't translated as PAL copies since we received the same editions as the US, two birds birds lazily killed with one shot for being NTSC too. But modchipped PS2s sold as buying some beer 6 packs and many pirate sellers had the pal versions or you could burn it yourself (lack of 60hz was kinda shitty so I stucked to north american editions).

That GTA Double Feature big box, there’s a couple different versions I’ve seen over the years that you might want to keep an eye out for. There’s one with the German GTA (1) logo and the one I own myself looks a lot like yours but the flag colours are more vibrant. My version wasn’t expensive either being about €70. I’ve seen a handful for around that price.
