Ha! Tim you look like me. From 2017 to 2020, I accumulated 41 pairs of shoes. Some folks have more/less, but this was my peak. Between Jordan’s, Yeezy’s, casual sneakers like Nike DBreak’s & NB 327’s, chelsea boots, lace up boots, a moc toe, and maybe a dozen pairs of running shoes since I work in the running industry. I’ve managed to thin it down to around 23, through selling and giving to friends and family. It was too much to transport moving, and I didn’t enjoy having so many. It felt like an indulgence after a while. I hear you though. Shoe addictions are no joke. 😂 You have to be careful getting into a hole and realizing you have way more than you need. That being said, I DO love all your pickups!

You telling the story of your beloved black Chelsea boots hit home man. I wanted to replace mine with Wyatts ever since I started watching Sangiev but the price was always the dealbreaker for me as a student. Finally, as a gratuation gift I got myself a pair of Husbands boots which are basically the classic YSLs but for half the prize. French brands are and always will be my favorites.

I feel you, I once bought a sweater, then wanted more pieces from that brand in particular. So I started selling my old clothes and reselling items from stores where I got deals on new clothes. And I was getting enough money from it but I started to buy more and more stuff from that brand and making huge collection of clothes that I don't even have time to wear all of them in a season.

Man your work has been an inspiration for years, but man sheeessshh those boots fire though i'd drop $$ just to be in the feels.

Does the Prada shoe feel more durable than your previous one? The YSL is the ultimate purchase and it looks more premium and durable than the Prada one (I now suede one). I would think these premium shoes should stick around for years with sturdy leather and sole which can be repaired a few times before ultimately retiring them.
