😂😂😂 So true! I was a bit surprised they’d stay out in the dark without a sheepdog or mule/donkey as they have spotted coyotes and foxes and I think wolves before. They’re living their best lives though!

I have 38 guineas and chickens, and whenever I get a little pouty about how much work they are, I think of Sandi and everything she handles pretty much on her own every day, and I straighten up and fly right pretty quick 😂
Idk how but I used to. Trying to find my way back to doing that. Disability and then a bout of cancer took my 36 hours a day. Never thought I'd miss them.
Sandy, please remember you have had a very stressful year. Sometimes we have a delayed reactions to all that took place. Just a thought… If your launch is stressful, you CAN change the date. Your items always sell out so you don’t have to worry about holding on to unsold merchandise. Maybe you could back the date up to September or just lunch at a different time of the year. Crafters make Christmas items in July you know, so don’t stay locked in to a holiday launch. Maybe Jess could take over for a while. She has such a great head on her shoulders that with her creativity, I’m sure she would do well in helping you out with future launches until you are ready to take on the full responsibility of the launch. You have nothing to worry about. Many of us cannot be "on time" for a launch. Sell your stuff ANY TIME. If Ever you had over stock, many many of us who miss out in the 1st sale date will buy in the 2nd, 3rd, ... perhaps continous sale. We are mildly sad we always miss out. Me, I need new dryer balls. I know you don't have a huge supply but it would be so special to have some from your sheep. If you couldn't have a store of your own, you know your friend with the Country Store. Please consider; make a deal with her.

Sandi, I’m THRILLED to hear you kept one of the prolapsed ewe lambs from that feed incident! I was the person who suggested you try that, since they were first-timers with “unstretched uteruses” more likely to suffer from bulky feed when carrying multiples - and because you knew the cause of the prolapse was, indeed, the feed. I know you say you hope this doesn’t end up ‘kicking you in the butt’ - but I think this is a win-win, even if the ewe prolapses again. The reason is this: If she performs well, you’ve invested wisely - and this info could help preserve your investments in the future. If she prolapses, you have peace of mind knowing that your past strategy of parting with prolapsers is wise. Remember: there are no guarantees in sheep farming - it is all a series of trial-and error. So considering this an investment in your knowledge and you will rest easy - and remember, you can share your results with a wide audience - a contribution to your industry.😊

I love how the miscarriage mama had a friend waiting for her when you let her back out if the pen. Re: the side project. I know seasonal merch is festive, but if you made goods not tied to the seasons & holidays, if would be less of a stress if you missed a deadline. We will always buy you out, any time of year, any wooly goodies. Spread it out. You can do more in small bites of time in advance. Stuff you start putting together in January will be as appealing in August as it would be in March. If you still need to cut back, we understand. It’s been a hell of a year for you & yours. We want you all to be happy and well.
We have a new daughter in law from Columbia. We had a chance to eat at a Columbian restaurant over the weekend. It was so fun and the food was absolutely delicious. Even in our 70s we are enjoying new experiences. One experience i love is watching Sandi and her crew. Thank you Sandi for being so open in your life. I love you.❤
Absolutely love to binge watch your videos, I have narcolepsy and right now I’m in a bad period so I have tons of time every day where I am too tired to really “do” anything, but still can’t sleep, that’s when I love watching your videos! Love that you create videos without “arranged content” if you know what I mean, everything that happens in your life, from lambing to harvesting to just “every day farm stuff” is absolutely perfect content, don’t change anything!
I do the same thing. I can’t get enough of watching Sandi. I like watching the cleaning of the barns. I am actually binge watching her right now. I don’t know if it’s because I live in Tennessee where there’s mostly country or what. We have cows right across the street. lol we love you Sandi. 😍
@@raynbeauheathercheng7721 narcolepsy can be very different for everyone that has it, both me and my sister have it (long story, it’s actually because of a vaccine and nothing genetically. And no, I’m not against vaccines in general, this was just a bad one. Google “swine flu vaccine in Sweden causing narcolepsy” for more info.) but my sister has a completely different situation than I do. Finding good medications is also key and what works for me doesn’t necessarily work for someone else. I think it sounds like a good way of still being able to do art, I have given up so much because of narcolepsy. I have had to quit riding and giving up the horse I had because I have such limited time every day when I can be active. I have also had to quit my political interests, was a member of the parliament of my city when I was 18, but I don’t have time for that either. The only thing I can make time for is working 50% and even that comes with a lot of difficulties. I’m so glad I live in Sweden where healthcare is free and we have many support systems, without that I wouldn’t be able to do anything that I want. It might sound silly to use kids coloring books and call it art, but that might be all that your friend have energy to do. Narcolepsy is a nasty and many times invisible disease, it affects so much more than just sleep and even when I am looking like I am “not sleepy” my brain is still constantly sleep deprived.
Sandi, I found your channel last year when I was recovering from hip replacement surgery. I have been working on catching up. Your channel makes me smile. One thing that is changed for me is that I have a greater appreciation of where my food comes from. I appreciate your hard work.

I’m 59 years old and I still get emotional and I cry when i get overwhelmed ! I have a good cry and I feel so much better ! I hear it’s good for women to cry every now and again ! love your channel ! I watch it with my Grand daughter who is four , she just loves Jess and always wants to pray for Jess .
One lesson you learned during 2023 is priorities, you can put those lessons into practice in 2024. Make time for your friends as frequently as possible, keep your crafts fun for yourself..your viewers will buy whatever you offer, whenever you offer it, even if it is once a year, enjoy your cabin and the Golden Girls regularly, etc. I love that Mark wanted to decorate the cabin! It looks cosy and Christmassy. Fun to see what the Golden Girls get up to during the daytime. Your vlog made my day!

Your Christmas Gnomes are too cute! The Golden Girls seem to do pretty much the same stuff I do on a daily basis -- as little as possible verging on nothing whatsoever. I'm retired too. Mostly just tired.
Cinnamon is the cutest,cheeky and sassy she gives you attitude but knows your a lovely mama its the cutest ❤ (not me at 5am jumping out of bed so I can drink my coffee in peace and watch Sandi before my girls wake up so they can watch it too 😂)

That's great that Mark participated this year in shopping for Christmas decorations and putting them up at the cabin. The outside garland and lights looked so nice. The tree for indoors is enchanting. I love those little gnome decorations that Sandi made. So cute, especially the hat.
Can remember when we were small and we all got into grandpa's pickup so we could go and get the trees for our homes. Grandpa owned a lot of land with cows. Hills and timber. Took several hours. We children were quite picky. That way we got to ride in the back of the pickup most of the day. So much fun! Oh, hot chocolate and something yummy when we got home back at both places. Yeh!

I think you should link your nest cameras to a website with a subscription. Let all of us who never get enough lambs and ewes running around have a camera that we can log onto to watch them. I would love that and would definitely pay to watch! I agree with several commenters that I have seen saying that you don't have to launch wool and items for the holidays. Those of us who are crafters will take any opportunity to get our hands on your wool! I would love a re-do of your regular merchandise... I really need a Sheepishly Me hoodie in my size... ~hugs tightly~

I'm in the US... I really want to shop at a Canadian Tire store.... I've been here since about 40,000 subs. My grandma has dementia she's 94, when she was a little girl they had sheep. They would trade for 1 Hog, then split a cow with the cousins down the way. Grams LOVES watching you & telling stories about things she remembers on the farm.
The secret of Canadian Tire is it is like an old fashioned general store minus material and thread, my daughter’s sister in law decorates with unique pieces from there, I am just into tires and car parts from there.
Sandi, so many of us have expressed the desire to volunteer & help you whittle away your to-do list. But we don't live anywhere near you. Is there a vet school or school for vet techs anywhere near? That of course, would mean you'd have to take the time to mentor students. You & Mark are such a great problem-solving team, I'm sure you'll figure out a way to keep this creative part of your life that fulfills your artistic side so perfectly (& turns muddy, bedraggled fleeces into such fluffy, clean. desirable merchandise!) 💕💕
