I Start A Song, They Finish it (Musical Telephone) 

Bishu another cool idea would be if you had a group of people similar to this and had everyone do a part. So would agree on a bpm and maybe a key and someone would do drums, someone would do synths and keys, and someone would do a bassline or melody or something. Then you put them all together and see what happens

This was actually an insane idea. Imagine musical telephone with phaze zero, wags, and vexx.

We need to see more of this format. I want to see some of the community mashups. Like imagine phaze, fae, vexx, etc

In case you guys don’t know and you’re working with somebody from a different DAW always,ALWAYS check the beginning of the sample because most DAWs give you like .2 seconds of silence before starting a track

New rule for next time, you cannot take out anything that was from the previous pass, you gotta roll with it. This would probably make the end result a more interesting song with everyone’s contributions

Would love to see a version of this where you all make a full song in like an hour, then send the finished version to the next person who has 30 minutes to recreate it, then the next person gets 10 minutes, and the last person gets 5 minutes or maybe even less. Then at the end you get to hear what got lost or changed completely as the time got shorter and shorter (or listen to the shortest time first and have it build back up to the original version)

Honestly I love that everything went off time at some point. This whole thing is already janky by nature, so it has to have stuff go wrong. It adds to the experience.

iirc musical telephone could also be where you take a song and have different people try to remake the previous one with decreasing amounts of time, would be another cool idea

i honestly loved the high pitch and distortion part of the gawf original song after which the smooth chords started playing

That synth GAWF found/made is amazing, still stuck in my head one week later. It might sound dumb but its catchy as hell.

Another idea, you make a intro/buildup send it out to everyone (chat) who’ve been working on their intro. And then you switch (you listen to their intros and pick one to work with) while the rest is working on your intro. Understandable if you can’t follow this^

Awesome idea, would be cool if you gave everyone extra time if needed to line up files, and then like 15 min to master the track after they get they're song back
