Nathan I’ve been on that server a long time. I speak for multiple members of the community who cannot afford to do that. We wish to keep being able to talk on the server we love. It sucks that I can’t even talk to people I befriended now

so what? this is a pay to win discord server now? i dont have any spare money to give to subscription based providers. i alreadypay enough for them on the 3 i already have. so.... wish i could, but I rather not be apart of a "pay to win" server. when discord is free to use.
Nathan, I love you, I appreciate you, but please don’t do this. Please don’t prime people into joining a cult. I know this is probably ironic, a meme, a playful gesture or an artistic venture. But this stuff could have unintended side effect of grooming and conditioning people to actually join a cult. Maybe that sounds silly, but ANYONE can become part of a cult, in fact the smartest people who seek validation and meaning to life often do. Scientology, Rajneesh Puram, these organisations weren’t built off the backs of idiots. It starts with a personality like you pulling people into an inner circle which is what you’re doing right now. I love you dude, don’t make me hate you.
Unfortunately I live in Brazil and dollars are very expensive (US$1 = almost R$5) but as soon as I possibly can, I'll become a cultist. Just tell us if we should grovel and avert our eyes or if those are things you can't stand 😆😋
It's pretty messed up that you kicked the followers who can't pay out of a server we all loved. You lose my respect as a person, a follower and even potentially a friend. I guess want of money really does make all men ugly.
No one was kicked. They’re still in. I didn’t use discord anymore. There are plenty of servers for them to use. I’m not obligated to offer a free hangout forever.
