exactly, but.... it's been falling off, s3 wasn't as good as the first 2, and this newest one has been very mid.

I don't think it is. maybe if we only look at s1 and 2. this newest season in particular pretty much has all the weakest episodes in the show imo. s3 is also good, but not as good as 1 and 2.

I heard that it fell off at season 3 and then there's going to be season 4 i don't know if it will be bad but from the trailers 1/10

@@hybridvenom9 S3 is actually pretty solid, even though it's not as good as the first 2. S4 has been very mid though. the only thing that had me hooked of the trailer was potential uncensored tits, which weren't even there. S2 is the best season though, so at least it hasn't been a constant downhill.

For what s4 is trying to do, I think it’s doing it very well. I just wish the show didn’t pretty much completely forget about clay face and king shark. But again, for what it is, it’s great. It just feels like it’s missing something, that thing being those characters

I mean it makes sense, on a certain level. No one understands you quite the same way your mortal enemy does, and when they've been such a huge part of your life for years, even as an enemy, their importance in it can't be understated. Them dying would leave a hole just as huge as any family member would, particularly when that whole question of "what now?" comes up after devoting so much of your time and attention towards hunting them.

@@wardenm Spoiler for those who haven't seen this show. In a later episode, where after capturing Batman, Scarecrow unmasks him in front of Joker to see who he was. Joker gets pissed at that, because he didn't WANT to know Batman's identity. Said the mystery was half the fun.

Plus there's moral complexity. Poison Ivy is an environmental terrorist, ie she murders the shit out of oil company execs in gruesome fashion, but otherwise she's a pretty moral, grounded person. Similar with Mister Freeze: If not for his GF he wouldn't be a villain. Ivy lays it out pretty explicitly when she tells Harley that Harles is a bad guy but not a bad person. As compared to someone like the Joker who's just a straight up violent psychopath.

That we know from the DCAU She's one of those dcau originals that became super popular

Actually in her original backstory in the DCAU, no vat of chemicals were involved. Joker just pretty much yanked out her inner crazy

Depending on the Version she is a Double Degree Psychologist and Psychiatrist. she meet the Joker she had just finished her Psychology Doctoral Dissertation and was going to try for her P.H.D., also she was doing her Psychiatric Internship, her plan was to build her Thesis on Case Studies from her internship. when she started to Hench for the Joker she was in the middle of (Successfully) defending her Thesis and waiting for her paper work to clear on her M.D. she was weeks or even Days away from going from Dr. Quinnzel to Dr. Quinnzel P.H.D., M.D.. the Scarecrow was her Psycho Pharmacology Professor and wanted her to change one or both her Majors and study under him full time. In High School she was a Olympic Medalist quality Gymnast in multiple disciplines, she got consistently better scores a girl who would go on to win two Silver and one Bronze at the Olympics, also a bunch of other medals (including Golds) at World Championships and World Games, but for Spoilerish reasons she just missed out on Olympic qualification. In Collage for Fun and to show off she would preform Mens Disciplines as well out preforming the boys going to the National Championships.

Whatever HQ has any superpowers at all seems to be very inconsistent. Some versions mention that she has enhanced strength, stamina, durability, agility, and reflexes, toxic immunity thanks to Poison Ivy special toxin antidote. A lot of her feats in a lot of shows only support that - no way she is simply very athletic (the normal kind) crazy girl with PhD. She is also more or less traditional counterpart to Batman's Robins. So it makes sense for her to have some similar abilities, even if it's not logical without superpowers. Anyway, comics and consistency rarely have anything to do with each other.

Well considering Harley Quinn herself was originally from an animated series and quickly became a comic book staple, it would be pretty fitting if this show inspired the comics to really develop kite man

Actually, Kite Man was revamped in the comics before this show premiered. I don't like Tom King's run, but that story was good, and paved the way for the ongoing Kite Man renaissance.

I think the thing with Ivy is that she did the whole sexy outfit for attention but since she's usually around Harley, Ivy doesn't feel the need.

Ivy's always been something of a Fem Fatale, so it is a bit odd to see that rather prominent aspect of her personality and design completely discarded.

​@@KoKoraaaaaaaa1995they changed her in the comics away from femme fatal in the last 00s/early 10s. She's more of a hates every human except Harley and catwoman now. Since she's more of a plany demigod now she outright kills or uses force to get her way with people. Rather than seducing men with toxins. The one thing I don't like about the show version is they made her a vegan. I like the versions where she's exclusively a carnivore because she considers all plant life precious and above animals

But Barbatos was the dragon that ate/destroyed all of the failed universes that the forger of worlds created until he betrayed the forger of worlds and took the world forge as basically a base camp. Letting all of the failed universes run wild, creating the dark multiverse. He took the Batman who laughs as a henchmen and created his own dark justice league using Bruce Wayne’s from across the dark multiverse. It’s a good story.
