i lived in a shelter with my mom as a child for a couple months and it definitely didnt look like that .. we had to share our rooms with other women and their children and they were all so kind and sweet , even th employees , im so glad that people can get help like this but i wish there was more places like this all over the world

I was about to rip you apart for making light of the homeless and the tragic conditions they deal with daily, but you brought light to a new homeless camp build to better the lives of people in need. The homeless situation in our country is out of control and mental health and drug addiction are problems not addressed enough. Homeless are people too.

You have no idea how much this video means to me personally. I was homeless for six years and I cannot stress to you enough how much I appreciate you doing this. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for shedding light on this subject and doing so in such a genuine, pleasant, and sincere manner.

The whole tiny houses for the homeless secured in a little village is an awesome idea that I wish they'd put into place nationwide. Its needed so bad. It's hard to keep your hope up when your life is falling to pieces around you. It's very easy to give up and even harder to keep moving forward in a positive direction to see the sun on the other side of your own personal darkness. The thought and care that went into building each of these little homes is huge. It's not until you go without that you realize how you take things for granted. Simple things like a bed, a door that locks, food to eat, clothes to wear, blankets, and even a shower. They are giving people HOPE and letting them know that "hey, we haven't forgotten about you, you matter, and we would like to help if you'd allow us." It's a beautiful thing❤️

This is really sweet. Thanks Brennen for showing this! I was homeless once, I slept in my car while working a 40 hour work week before the age of 25. It was hard to keep myself clean for work but I did it and had to do it without help. I have no idea how I managed it but this would have made the process so much easier on me. This is really wonderful that they are finally doing this for our community. Just cause someone is homeless doesn't mean they aren't part of our community. They deserve respect too. Thank you so much for being who you are Brennen! So inspirational!

I left my whole family and flew across the country to get my life together and rekindle with my ex at the time. I couldn’t stay with her so I stayed at the Raleigh rescue mission for 7 months. I met those from all walks of life and experienced a lot. Long story short I was successful and am engaged and just got my real estate license. I needed a second chance and I capitalized!

Brennen is such a people person. He’s so outgoing and he can make literally anyone smile and laugh. He needs more recognition ☺️

Bakersfield, CA The Padre Hotel has earned the reputation of being one of Bakersfield’s most haunted places with paranormal activity mostly on the seventh floor. Guests have reported being pushed by unseen hands, many report seeing a young girl ghost dressed in 1920s clothing, giggling, leaving child-sized handprints on mirrors and doors. Some believe that most of the ghosts are people who perished in the 1950's hotel fire, while others say spirits are tied to the hotel after committing suicide by jumping from the roof. being homeless many times, I've realized the safest spot is in the bush. The hardship is usually the town is an hr away but being in the bush, I had no worries about being robbed or killed by humans. Its too bad Canada doesn't do this. They just tear down any encampments they find. Canada helps the immigrants first then us Canadians last. The hardest part is coming back to civilization and not knowing how long you have before your homeless again. Living in survival mode for years does take its toll on you mentally and physically. So very happy your bringing awareness to this pandemic.

I have been living in a houseless shelter aka homeless shelter. I would love to go to stay there. The ones I lived in was dirty and bunk beds with 50-75 people in one room. And that food was definitely 5 star compare to ones I eaten which was soup or beans water bread or anything they can put together. Yes it's free but again this definitely is not places I stayed at EVER EVER LOOKED LIKE THIS AT ALL. THAT IS DEFINITELY 5 STAR

I stayed in a homeless shelter for 6 months & it was scary at first but once you get to the people it's not that bad... It really has changed my perspective on life & the choices you make... They wake up at 5 am every week day & eat breakfast & leave... Not really a morning person lol but managed to get by... It's more difficult out there on the streets with people with mental issues wanna start fights or pull a gun on you

I hope the best for this place, I truly hope it helps people and they don't get trashed. Unless they do cavity searches, drugs will find their way in there. This is coming from someone who used to run with the addicts. It's dark. I am way past that now in my life but I will never forget.

You know what brennen, I hope you really understand. There was a time I contacted you, when things was down in my life. I wanted tostart a channel and do something great, but you never reacted to my message. Now I'm not upset at you at all, I'm just glad and hope this really did open your eyes. Being homeless a d staying in a shelter is very difficult, I know this first hand. Most people give up and lose hope there. I on the other hand kept fighting, and still fighting to some extent. I just haven't given up hope, and know things only get better. Other people don't give themselves that honor. Enjoy your day bud, and enjoy

hope of the valley is like an upscale let me tell you.i been to shelters as a kid its like a house with rooms a staff at a desk who trade shifts.in your room is 2 beds if alone you get a stranger in next bed.people will cause drama even steal your stuff you buy to put in fridge.hope would of been a miracle to me in those times as a kid.i was homeless at 19 all alone only thing that helped was the eating place but i floated around to friends places some who had almost nothing themself.

Being homeless does make you humble. I stayed in a station wagon in the dead of winter with my husband. We had help thankfully but a lot of people don't.

I stayed at a homeless shelter in Mansfield ohio for 3 months and it truly wasn't that bad. And they helped me with first months rent and a deposit.
