Lol its been a few but I think this is the first time it's not my fault 😉 it's editing one the road that's the problem half the time bit of a nightmare
Would love it if you bought back the 40-50 minutes videos mate, I love your non edited 5-10 minute rambled talkings and insights about life! Your production and quality has dramatically increased, but do miss a bit of your classic Wandering Where analogy’s and thoughts about the world, just chatting to us in the back of the crib!! Still awesome we get 2 videos a week off you, we are blessed anyway! Take It easy man
Flew over Stonehenge with the military back in the day. Myself and a young officer were hanging out of a helicopter door, the officer turned to me and said "Look at that Johno! Pity they built it so near a main road!" 🤔🤣🤣 Great video. Keep up the good work👍🍻
Love watching this stuff from Adam, such a likeable and thoughtful, humble person. Great video editing, makes me laugh and want to get out into nature more. Awesome work. Don't stop.
When I was a little girl we used to sit on the stones and have our sandwiches I’m 64 now and you can’t get anywhere close to them it very sad and we never had to pay to play on the stones.
Stonehenge, my neck of the woods. Lovely to see you down south, hope you decide to return, you'll be missing out if you don't. Great video as always. Blessings.
Hope your Eco isn’t too sick, Adam. Yeah the sun buggers off when you need to get those solar panels out. Love the apple pie thingy but where was the custard? 🤣. I wondered if the fridge was getting enough ventilation now it’s warmer over there but it was operating ok before wasn’t it. All those ppl at Stonehenge! Uluṟu (Ayer’s Rock) is much like that so I see on the inter tubes. We live inAlice Springs for two years in the early 70’s and never went there 🥴. It was a long dirt road to get there and we had a Triumph Spitfire sports, nah wasn’t going to happen. Thx for this recipe, I’d like to try that. 🇦🇺 🥧
Back in 1984 was a different story completely. Look up the Battle of the beanfields 1984. Back when you could go see the stones for free and at the same time get a great egg butty from some random hippie!
The treatment of new age travellers was appalling but then the police were far worse back then. Not just battle of the bean field but look at allgreave.
7:49. I called England my home for the first 29 years of my life, I've romped all over Dartmoor, climbed Snowden, lived in the Lake district and went to Uni in Yorkshire, and spent many a weekend cycling around Herefordshire. I miss the countryside, so thanks for posting the beautiful pics ❤😊
Oh no, hope nothing too serious with the electrics! We would have waited for the videos to be done after you did more of your trip especially as you set off nice and early. Drone shots are as brilliant as ever. Pie looked great. So, Scotland is waiting... 'Ohh Mama!'
Ha, chuffed to see you visit the area where I grew up. Spent many an hour as a nipper untangling kite strings on Win Green 😀 Shame about the ecoflow - mine went on the fritz too last weekend just when I needed it as well. Overnight decided it only had 3% power left. Managed to get some charge into it from the solar, and within half an hour it finally decided that perhaps it was fully charged after all. I'm not convinced they have the best software onboard, and now I worry about relying on it when I'm away without EHU 😕 Dorset is a great place, lots to visit. Anywhere in Wessex really - west is best ;-)
Heya Adam, all you need is a cheap 600W Inverter, a positive and a negative cable from the car battery through the firewall to your Inverter and plug your 240V powerstation adapter into the 240V plug, only while the car engine is running and you'll be getting up to 400W into your house battery, it'sperfect for your situation.

Given you were on site, you should have gone on one of the morning tours. There for dawn, you get to walk around the stones in limited groups and it doesn’t cost that much more than general admission. I did it for a birthday a few years back.
English heritage who own Stonehenge have 200 sites and a third of their annual income comes from the henge, also national trust and English heritage have offices next door to each other in Swindon.
@@davidhutchison8719 nope they own it, used to belong to a farmer and he left it in his will to English heritage, also, it didn’t look like it does now, it’s been rebuilt to a degree, a bit like Avebury, a lot of the avebury was used in the surrounding properties garden designs over the years 1910- 1940
@@rooga311 on paper maybe but as far as I’m concerned it shouldn’t be owned by anyone…it’s not there to make a business out of, it’s there for the people of the Uk and tourists to enjoy.
Another great video! Love all the places you get to. Pie looked great! I'm from the southern US, but moving to Scotland this fall. Being from the southern US, what you did is perfect for a pie. I'd suggest making smaller versions, much more like a mini bridie. They'd be handheld and you can take some with you when you decide to leave the crib for a hike! We call them jack pies. One of the many reasons my mid section is a little stretched! 😂😂😂
When I was very young we went to visit Stonehenge. Way back then in the late fifties you could visit the stones and just walk round them with no restrictions, no fences and no crazy fees!
Great view of Stonehenge and your apple pie looked lovely. I love apple pie. looking forward to seeing your next video. Take care of yourself and stay safe . ❤❤❤👍💗💗💗
Great video Adam 👍 Didnt realise til you mentioned in your video that you live in my hometown of Leicester as am a fairly new comer to your channel, really enjoying your videos as your providing me with ideas of where to go walking and stealth camp with my four legged companion 🐕
I stayed there 3 weeks ago at Stonehenge that road is horrendous you just have to take ya time over the potholes but the stones are breathtaking when your up close👍
We (army air despatch) used to have a drop zone not far from there on sailsbury plains and once we'd set up the DZ we used to jump inthe land rovers and literally drive across the hills and straight to stone henge. No fences, no people, no charge. This was in the late 90s and I honestly can't believe the diff now. Wow 😮😂
Great spot even if you only pay once to see them up close ish 😊 On the eco flow power thing, hope you dont turn back for that. Not sure if it helps but the AC power lead on their site looks an awful lot like a PC power cable so if you could grab one of those from a techie shop you might be able to charge AC, just need to find a socket then, ask nicely or try services? 😂 Just an idea anyway. Fingers crossed you get to hurst castle great wild camp spot there (but busy), plus the local indian restaurant is delicious! Keep on keeping on 😉
Great video you found another very remote spot with some really good 360 degree views and another very sketchy road. Love the drone footage very impressive spot. It hope that you get your Ecoflow sorted for next time what a pain. Some warmer drier weather coming the end of next week should be good. u know u know. 👍
Hey cool your in my area. Nice to see some home turf. Great videos I enjoy watching them. I LOVE this area and have just finished some trail running videos. Shortly to come up after my little trip around Asia. keep up the good work
Would be great if you took a compass and a map and learned a new skill. Would be interesting to watch you go a little deep into the subject. Loving the videos, will be good to see if ecoflow's customer service is up to scratch should it be a cable problem.
It could be called fake,as you are not looking at a genuine ruin. It was reconstructed with concrete foundations to make it look more interesting than just a heap of stones on the ground.
Hi Southerner here from Wiltshire. Shame you're trip didnt go to plan maybe next time. Really surprised you didnt get a telling off for flying the drone over Stonehenge I've herd that it's in the military no fly zone but i may have got it wrong. Stay stelfy and great channel ❤
Adam: Stonehenge and Preseli’s In Pembrokeshire: Bluestone is the term used to refer to the smaller stones at Stonehenge. These are of varied geology but all came from the Preseli Hills in south-west Wales. Although they may not appear blue, they do have a bluish tinge when freshly broken or when wet.
That turn in to the Drove is bad enough in the day then there's the massive potholes. No wonder you had trouble in the dark. Yes you can get pretty close on the pathways around the henge. You'll need to become a druid to get up and touch them. So much better in the days of the free festival but thatcher stopped that. Battle of the bean field etc
You can’t touch the stones anyway lovie. I have an English Heritage pass and National Trust but your guarded from them only access on Solstice Winter/Summer festival 😃
This just popped up on my feed for some reason, interesting video, but where is your accent from, seems hugely mixed and I can't tell but am intrigued.
Have you heard the story about a small group of campers who set up their tents inside the stone circle and a thunderstorm came in and there was a flash of light and they were never seen again? 1970s i believe it was.
Admission to Stonehenge used to be two shillings in 1970. If you went early in the morning it was free 'cause there was no staff there and you could walk among the stones. Now it's a ripoff unless you are a NT or English Heritage member. You might as well save all your money and view from the Drove. I think it's mainly Chinese tourists that pay the price as there seems to be hundreds of them when I have been there. How about making the most of Dartmoor now that the appeal court has ruled in favour of wild camping?
Im presently parked up in the New forest....im 40 minutes away from this location, im going to head there tonight in my van and do an overnighter, thanks for posting
@@wanderingwhere ive quite a repertoire of scenic safe places with a phone signal were the rangers dont bother you if you'd like a guided tour sometime.
@@wanderingwhereI'm new forest there keyhaven with amazing views but have to check tides or you might float away . It's right near hurstcastle walk new forest
The stones where brought over from pembrokeshire how the heck they got them there I don't know but it's from the blue stones. I will leave you to figure it out xx
£30 to see the stones... that's outrageous and you can't even have a piss up one of them... if I'm paying £30 I wanna pitch up tent in the middle of it.
Be careful with flying a drone over stone henge. There's a no fly zone in place and u putting that on the tube could get u into trouble, speaking from experience.
It was dug up year's a go they put underneath it reinforce concrete so the stones don't go underground, then there 30 pounds admission fees would go downstairs with them stones, you can always park you car and walk to the stones just hop over a thew little fences, family ticket saved jod done, iv done it loads off times, 💯🏴👨👩👦👌it's a skam for the tourist 🤗😜
