I Stayed at Pattaya's Cheapest Hotel & Found a GEM 

Natural Beach hotel is Fantastic. I stayed there 3 months ago and it was clean, friendly and the location is perfect. A very short walk to the great steakhouses near Soi Diana… Great beach… wonderful swimming pool… And, every day I would treat my feet to a relaxing massage at the shop in the lobby… inexpensive and professional. Definitely a gem.

As per usual, a valuable and worthwhile video. In Thailand, a cheap hotel means basic, clean and safe. In the United States it means bed bugs, smell of urine, dangerous area, broken furniture, loud neighbors, and filth.

Of the 2, the 2nd one wins, hands down.

I like Jomtien area, but the second motel was the better value. A/C, pool, bathroom, location. Worth the extra money, I think

Great video. We just came back from three weeks vacation at St Pete beach Florida. My son stayed 12 days at the Hilton on the beach and cost him $6200.00 . And his room no different than your second hotel WOW it’s crazy different in the price. My wife and I and two grandsons we stayed in condo through Airbnb cross the street from the beach and average night came to $322.00. Thank you for sharing your videos.

Nice find for under $10 a night, especially that close to the beach.

I would use the Second hotel due to the location and amenities, the first hotel no good for me mainly because of the communal washrooms. I need privacy when using the thunderbox as excessive noises may disturb fellow guests.

Good choice with natural beach lucas. I stayed there for my first trip to Thailand in 2019. Loved it, and even better was watching the sunrise with food from kiss food and drink. Absolutely beautiful views and great staff

I got so excited when I saw you turn down that soi, I used to love staying on that street and one day I'm gonna return. Great area, Soi Welcome not far is good for small bars and restos and the beach is a few minutes walk

You should also check out PK Villas, Jomtien Beach Road, Soi 12. Long term rentals overlooking large pool 8,500THB per month. We lived there for 2 years lovely and quiet. Highly recommended.

For $10 a day I'd choose that second room over most condos I've seen in Pattaya.... great find, thanks!

i like the fact that the sign showed 999 baht, because the majority of us, won't be coming till late this year or early next and as you mentioned Lucas, the price will go up. i would not think twice about staying there, knowing that the price will fall somewhere between 300 and 999 allows for budget planning. I myself hope to arrive for three weeks in November and would love to join you on a few rides, like that adventure tour show showcased a few months back. keep up the great work Lucas and time to check out the travel show.

As a professional sweater, no AC is a deal breaker. The thought of eating street market chicken and getting the runs with access to a communal bathroom back at the hotel is the foundation of nightmares. I’m going with the 300 per night.

That second room with bathroom was quite fine. 300 baht is cheaper than the earplugs you'd need if you bought them in the west before you arrived. You've got to remember though that you are in a semi-permanent COVID induced low season!

I have stayed at Natural Beach hotel years ago with my wife, Good hotel had parking for my car and a great position. Very good value for money.

The Natural Beach looked fantastic with much more bang for your buck than the Jomtien one.

Okay Lucas, both hotels are really good value for money, for me definitely the second hotel, the extra 50 baht for a really good decorated room with aircon and of course a pool. The first one having no in room shower rest room was a little of putting. If something like that second hotel was on soi buakhow it would be perfect 👍🙏for the info.

I've stayed in the baan sila many times never payed more than 999bht and that is in high season as well.. it's great for the money really convenient place to stay and I didn't find it that noisy the room I stayed was in the main building and had a balcony could have done with a lick of paint but it was clean.. The second room was nice but the no AC was the deal breaker ( spoiled by age ) and I could see staying for a few weeks until I found a good condo or apartment .

Definitely the second one with the a/c and the bathroom. We found a place in Bangkok 2 weeks ago for 500 baht all up. As good as the Soi 11 one but also had half a kitchen. Great location with the BTS 3 minutes away.

All I'm gonna say about the room is when I was in prison I didn't have a choice. But as a free man I have a choice, That said to each his own!! And as long as You like it that's all That counts. The 2nd room was decent For the money! When I retire in 4 more years I want to come out there and take a bike ride with you, I can't believe the condition of roads out there they look awesome. They are better than where I live. You've got me convinced to move there. I noticed There's not many murders going on there. My town set the highest murder rate for anywhere in the world per capital of people. Good video as always brother!

I always search for one of the cheaper rooms, but that 1st room would be a no-no for me. I can imagine it would become incredibly hot and sweaty at night = no sleep. I stayed at the 3-star Maytara Hotel on Soi 11 earlier this year, big room with balcony overlooking the pool, for just 400 baht a night. Some incredible bargains at the moment if you book online

I’m in decent Hotel in Reno Nevada $175 per night all casinos were $200 up No pool no free water and it’s totally booked. Can’t wait to get back to LOS

I think the 599(999) prices refer to rooms in the main hotel building. In the past often lived at Nautical Inn next door.

The cheapest night(s) I spent in Pattaya were just off central Pattaya road somewhere between the 1st and 2nd road back - with a Thai friend from Isaan at the time - no aircon..... I remember around $10AUD/night or less 3-4 years ago.... Motorbike taxi on arrival to the real cheapest place at the time and big room...clean.... I needed that after a 17 hour coach trip to Pattaya from Ubon.....

Hi, Lucus, if I was stuck in Jomtien for one night as a crash pad like you said for five or six hours but the 2nd is a gem and as a base, until you find what your looking for this place is ideal. It had everything you might need for a short stay and a long stay for some for under $10 is a steal. One of your subscribers said he stayed there recently and It was a great place to stay. I would easily choose Natural Beach Hotel. Sure, I love Jomtien, but for the few extra Baht and a quick ride with the Baht Bus... Plus the extra amenities, the pool and 1-2 minutes tops to Beach Road, there are no doubts where tha "bang for the bucks" will be well worth spent. Thanks for the tip!

I will take the second one thanks . Air con is a must . Did it have a dunny in the room 😁. The only downer is we are told no travel till mid 2022 from Australia 😥

I always get the bus from the Suvarnabhumi airport to Pattaya 130 baht. I can wait until July.

Have to go with #2, I could make do with no in room privy but no AC , no thank you. I do prefer Jomtien beach over beach road ( beach ) I guess Koh larn or even go to Jomtien would be alright. That shirt is awesome I bought it at a pattaya night market and I still own it... I've had it sewed a couple times cuz it ripped but it's great quality still fits haha

great find - yes Natural Beach Hotel is very good value for money. Just imagine during the current COVID environment the current rate is substantially discounted compared to the normal price when normal tourist volume resumes. Any idea of normal pricing?

2nd hotel, really at that price its amazing, very well placed for lots of fun and services, would be excellent for somewhere to stay initially for a 'long' holiday (6,7,8 weeks,) before perhaps looking for a place elsewhere if that was your want, cheers

Nice clean rooms and a great alternative to a hostel.

250 baht for the second room. About 2007 I went up to Sukhothai and paid 240 baht a night for a little place. A simple room but it was adequate.

303 baht, is about 8 euros, that's ridiculous for what you got. Just got myself a burger meal delivered whilst watching the football (soccer) here and it cost the equivalent of TWO nights in that room. Insane.

I stayed at The Natural Beach hotel in February 2018 for 1400THB a night no breakfast, so yes quite a big difference today 👍

I don't go below the 1-star hotels as I need a/c and bathroom. But cool review. Maybe you could branch out into reviewing cat houses too, eh?

I'll take the 2nd room. Looks much nicer and AC is a huge plus. Can't beat that price.

I would love to see a video on the cheapest hotel with air-con and a pool (that’s what I need lol) that’s within walking distance in the main part of the entertainment area of Pattaya. A balcony would be nice too lol. I’d call anywhere in between the walking street area and T21 area. I’d think these parameters would be the most popular/wanted for most people who come to Pattaya for a short visit.

The second hotel is popular with the budget indian tourists. My friend works at the masaage shop attached to the hotel.

I’d be interested to know the price of the better room with AC in the cheaper hotel. That could be more appealing if noise were really an issue for somebody. Great review.

That room at Jomtien would be fine for a short visit no problem for me. But I would definitely spend the extra 50 baht

The Natural Beach Hotel also has the deepest pool in Pattaya that I have found. It is about 10 feet deep.

Golden sea for $20 is amazing!! If you haven’t stayed there it’s a great value

A 2 sea, stayed here 2 times, liked it and they have a dorm too but the pool is never clean. No matter how much you tell them they didn't care but can't complain for the price, lol
