@@vaultsoferowid either of my comments were in no way negative so don’t take anything personally. I think Ruby could benefit from a stylist, that’s my opinion. And I asked a simple, unassuming question, “where are you from? “. Very simple, don’t interject or surmise anything other than what I stated.
I've always stayed on the strip but I would definitely consider staying here if the room prices lowered. I stayed at Fontainebleau recently, which was really nice, but I prefer the design and vibes of the Durango rooms. I can see why it's been so popular.
As soon as you walked into the room, I was like "this is the nicest room she has ever reviewed, my kind of place!". It just comes across as so peaceful and serene and pleasing to the eye. I will definitely check this place the next time we go to Vegas.😍
We stayed there for two nights starting on opening night (comped). We were treated like royalty...everyone was SO nice and the rooms are drop dead gorgeous just as you say. We found the gambling (VP) great and the food hall was wonderful, esp the coffee bar. I'm hoping we get invited back as we will definitely make it part of our Vegas stays.
Tell the reception you require a fridge for your medical supplies...most will place a small fridge in your room for free ...I just put a bag with some medical boxes and the rest is my food, drinks etc
If they comp you your stay and know you are doing a review they are going to make sure your room is dust free and clean. They prob comped your food and drink to
This sounds like the perfect hotel casino for me, since I don't travel too much I think it's worth it. Thank you so much for this Ruby! Just subscribed we love you here. 🎉❤
I feel like your reviews are great, even when you are comped the rooms or whatever you give the goods on what you think. I would love to see another living here video and what the costs are now! I love your videos and watch both channels.
great place for us locals. my only big complaint is, that's its just way too bright inside. dim the lights a bit. if they only had a movie theater and bowling alley there, it would be an excellent top notch place for locals.
Very classy resort, but I won’t spend $95 for steak. Rooms more expensive than the Wynn (for average rooms). The video of fountain was going backwards.
Ruby. Have you stayed at the Fontainebleau yet? Can you do a comparison between Durango and Fontainebleau? Which would you say is the better property. Larger room ect.
Most of us will never see the inside of anything...anywhere...out here working ourselves to the bone😂..thank you for your videos...hopefully you enjoyed yourself in the process...and for those trolling your videos...go kick rocks.. her videos are well done she doesnt need to complain or bellyache.😂😂
Repping one of the finest bars in Vegas at the end there? The Durango looks good. I'd be unlikely to stay there due to location and price but i definitely fancy a visit.
Thank you. You're a fabulous hostess with the mostest ❤ The new Durango resort looks like a perfect romantic weekend getaway! Lovin this channel new subscriber here!
Thank God your room was comped because like you said it’s very overpriced beautiful hotel fancy restaurants most definitely paying for that construction😂
Hey Ruby! Love your channel and please come back to Reno to try our Luxurious Atlantis as well as Nugget in Sparks!! We have cheap but AMAZING fast foods, amazing slots, tropical drinks, really lax people, and great service. RENO SPARKS LOVES VEGAS🥰🥰🥰!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR VEGAS WE LOVE YOU🥳
The sad thing is, have you (or other content creators) ever mention how casinos have been over charging, fleecing and rigging games from day one? It's bad enough that all these casinos ONLY care about money but having people promote them is kinda sickning. With the current state of the economy, it might be better to make a video showing how you could cook that way over priced $100 steak at home. 🤔
I do enjoy your reviews, but if you're getting the room for free, the hotel is essentially paying for the review. Having followed you for a while, there's a stark difference between the comped stays and non-comped ones. In the non-comped ones you are being much more thorough. Sorry, I don't think your opinion can truly be your own unless you're paying for everything out of pocket.
Comments like yours get so tiresome on videos like this. Almost everything you buy, someone was paid to sell it to you. You say you like Ruby’s reviews, but then say you can’t trust her. You either trust her opinion or you don’t, but spare us the lectures.
I don't agree with you... having driven a truck for 18 years, I've been all over our beautiful 48 states...I have an opinion just like you do... you're on someone's else page trolling them...go sit down somewhere...plz and ty.😊
The lines are way too long at the food court, and the casino floor is extremely overcrowded. No matter where you sit to play a slot machine, anyone walking down a row of slot machines will hit your chair. If the goal was to make this a high end gamblers dream casino, station missed the mark. The whole casino reeks of smoke, and they don't have a non-smoking section.
I like that you were honest about getting a comped room but you cannot give an unbiased view when you get the room for free. This place does look amazing and I would stay there but you should have mentioned the biggest negative about this place, the lack of room around the slots. If you have a mobility scooter there is just no way to get between the slots, it’s way too tight, even walking between them is hard enough, I just thought you should have mentioned it.
I agree with you. Reviewing a comp room unfortunately isn’t a fair review in my opinion. Saying anything negative would mean no more free rooms for the reviewer. But the complex does look great and as you said the area in between the slot machines is quite tight.
@@Janeyk1988 I like Ruby, I think if someone gives you something for free it’s human nature not to be rude and say negative things, Ruby is not the only one who does it but I believe the review is comprised if its free, It’s only a small criticism and maybe she doesn’t think the slots are too close together, but I have seen other reviewers who have said there is no room in between the slots.
I was checking out the prices. Don't think I'll ever stay there. Looked at rooms for a 4 day stay - my Mirage charged $89 a night, and Durango was $299 a night.
It’s not that fancy . I was there last Christmas. I saw some homeless in the restroom . it’s a normal vibe. I love the bright lights . In less than 7 minutes and you said “i love Durango “ i was skeptical on your review. Will you give the same amazing review if you paid for the room that much ? I’m sad because I love your channel Ruby . I wish it’s more honest . It’s very far from the strip . We paid $140 for our 6 drinks , so plus tip . So ,,,, that’s a fountain bleau , aria , Wynn & encore level. This one , it’s not cheap , but it’s not fancy . It’s just new . ❤❤❤ best part is it’s free parking . But it has nothing unique to offer .
The front slot area is very cramped and hard to get through. They have way too many machines for the space. $400.00 for a locals casino hotel room is overpriced. The sportsbook layout and design are the best out of all Station properties. I like all the windows around the casino floor that make it brite inside and the lighting inside.
This hotel looks very nice. Don't think I would stay here. It is far away from everything. It is a Station Casino. Think I'll stay at The Gold Coast when I come back to Las Vegas. You have the Palms across the street, Rio is near by, and Blueberry Hill across the street.
Love @TravelRuby ( #11 ) Everybody loves Ruby❤. Love your sweater and your new outfit change over, and the fancy gold color nails. Yep I noticed everything. Hot tamale , Hot tamale, keep up the good work! I am #TeamRuby. The rooms looks expensive. But it’s worth it because it’s a new hotel/casino. I might stay there someday. It doesn’t look family friendly. No bowling alley. No movie theater. Where’s 🎭 The arts and shows? Great video, can’t wait to see your next production.
Last trip to Vegas, I stayed at MGM Grand Signature suites. I did go to Durango, the first thing that I liked about it is how accessible it is compared to majority of other large casinos you have a choice of several open air parking lots or the covered garage. There are several entrances right next to the parking lots so you walk in without having to walk a million miles as it is with a lot of the hotel/casinos on the strip. Plus, everything in the food court is right there too, I went to three of them...next time I'm in Vegas I get to all of the restraurants. The slots selections were many all new machines with a few classic old ones. Next time I'll stay at the Durango, seeing as how I had to drive I didn't get to partake in the bars.
You said "I'm going to eat as much as physically possible" and then gave the "I just don't give an F" look. I had to look up a Buffalo chicken dip recipe after seeing that lol
Lovely spot and I get supply and demand but for that price point Im better off doing all inclusive in Mexico. By the time you factor in food and drink prices it makes sense going all inclusive. Especially since I could take or leave gambling
The best video poker game in Durango's inventory is 8/5 BP (99.17%). All other STN properties have more 99% + games (including 10/7 DB, 10/6 DDB, LDW, TB+, NSUD, 9/6 BPD, 9/6 JoB). Also, as a "general" rule if a property offers limited full pay video poker, then the slots tend to set "tighter" as well. A serious video poker player will find better value at other STN properties.
I will come now to try out their amazing food hall with a little gambling but as far as staying there I will have to pass like you said it’s for people that are gambler’s… I love all the actions and things that’s on the strip and downtown😊
Turn it up world just released a video of this beautiful hotel, but they paid $524 for one night that is very overpriced yikes 😬 since it’s not directly on the strip but I’m looking forward to seeing what you’re review is of this hotel love your channel 😊
Hard to tell but is that a barn door bathroom door? The worst design idea ever. Does not seal so sound comes through. I've even stayed at JW Marriott high end that had barn door with such a wide gap you easily see person on toilet bowl on left side or in the shower on right side.
Love Vegas and it used to be so affordable. For people coming from the UK, paying $95 for a steak - phew that's a lot! And then there's everything else on top of that! 😢
Ruby, fantastic u got ur room free but us normal people who earn a living or are on pension cant afford $400 a night, Im no cheapo either I've travelled to Vegas stayed at every resort since the early 1980s, but what the f...k, no room is worth $400 a night, unless u have saved for of course or money means nothing as u have the means and whatever which i say, good for u, Ruby u know that many of ur viewers are lucky to make $400 a week or less eh, glad u enjoyed ur visit, at least hamburgers weren't $150, now that's not real world, only to vloggers and the well healed who have no idea what a great deal is. 2008 I stayed over Xmas with my wife in Las Vegas 22 to 30, package deal flight and hotel, from Calgary Alberta, for $800 at the Flamingo Go Room. That averages in today's dollars $138 day for that visit. Now tell me $400 a day is a good price.
It looks like such a cool place with all of the windows! Yay windows! Thanks for sharing and making this video, Yay elevator dance :) My new motto " I am going to try and eat as much as physically possible."!
Ummm you nailed it on the head. This property is a gamblers paradise. VEGAS NEEDS TO LEARN FROM DURANGO… I predict Durango will stay packed by gamblers… corporations ruined Vegas for me they ruined the Vegas experience. Looks like Durango is trying to get that back. I vowed never to return to Vegas but Durango may get me to come back… how was your check in experience??? Actual PEOPLE OR DAMN KIOSKS???
My husband and I were comped a 2 night stay and a good amount of freeplay. We usually stay at Palace Station. We will be there January 13th through the 15th. Couldn't pass up the comped rooms and freeplay.
@vickiking4565 We have been staying at the Palace Ststion for over 30 years. We only go to Vegas about once a year. We are not high rollers and we do not gamble at Palace Station, exclusively. We usually get 3 nights comped at Palace Station, but I was shocked to see the price of the rooms at Durango. Because Durango is a Station brand hotel, that is why we were comped.
I love her honesty. She always lets you know if they get free upgrades or comped rooms. A lot of people on social media never tell us these things and we don't know when they are saving money to do a lot of the things that they are able to do.
