I stayed at the Waterfront Hotel, Southport and tried the town's best full english breakfast! 

The best full English brekkies in Southport are the steak breakfast at Lords cafe bar on Lord st or the full monty at the whistle stop cafe round the back of the train station 👍

That breakfast certainly looked good🤩

My old home town ..Loved it Only seem to remember solid blue skies and wide open beach . A lovely town especially the elegant Lord street The waterfront is new to me ,obviously been building since we left in 1983!!! Like Morecambe the town needs a lot more attention from the VERY WEALTHY citizens of both Manchester and Liverpool two huge cities on either side of the town ..I don't know what happened to the past 'best hotel in Southport the huge victorian Prince of Wales' on Lord street ? Only stayed there once and it was 'tired' then...So new hotels are very welcome Your Waterfront looked like a very average hotel you would find in the Netherlands ( where we once lived after Southport ) high standards then and now,,so nothing special and I disliked the decor in the lounge, far too fussy...Clean lines always please..Just wish you had had the sunshine I remember so well

Where did you get that it was the ‘best’ full English in Southport?

i was treated to a birthday meal there, not impressed with the meal at all, then i had a £60 fine for using their car park, not well sign posted, no information or help at reception as to registering your car on arrival or terms of stay. it is the worst experience i have had when treated to a meal. you could not drag me to this place with a team of wild horses.

Did that used to be called the Ramada hotel?
