In May I got the chance to stay at a minimalist capsule hotel called Yotelair in Amsterdam Airport and here is what it looks like! Hope you enjoy!

I’ve always wanted to stay in a capsule hotel. Never seen one that has its own bathroom!!

It's worth having your own space and bathroom, which to me is super important. It sure beats sitting around at the airport waiting for your next flight. Good video.

Totally agree! This was the best airport nap I ever took by far. Maybe even the best nap in general, since I was so tired😅

I stayed at the Yotel in Istanbul, during 10 hour layover a year ago. It's really worth it.

This is super cool! I've wanted to stay in a capsule hotel for so long. This one was pretty nifty as you have your own bathroom. Are they "rented" by the hour; specific blocks of time; how does that work?

By the hour indeed! Because it is at the airport, you can get it for the amount of hours your layover lasts etc. But Yotel has other rooms like this, and some you can only get by the night

There was AirCo! You could put it as warm or cold as you wanted to

Hey is the hotel for like all the passengers who have an onward flight, for example I want to fly from Vancouver to Entebbe but I have a 24 hour old. So I'm I able to book the hotel. And also I do not have a Netherlands visa.

Yes this is inside the airport and only people with an ongoing boarding ticket can book a room. You never leave the airport, so you need a visa. Hope this makes sense!

How much did it cost ?and were u in Amsterdam or an airport ?

It cost me 50€ for 4 hours (you pay for hours) and it was inside the airport (so you need a boarding pass). Sorry if the title was unclear!

How much it charge you for a day

I'm not sure what the daily fee is, as it's designed to be used for a handful of hours at a time. I do believe I paid about 60€ to use it for 5 hours or so. After the long travel day I had, it was the best money I could have spent. Hopefully that helps!

Yotel is a ripoff. You could pay up to £360 for a night at Gatwick

Oh sorry to hear that! This video is also a little dated by now so maybe their prices changed? It was fairly reasonable when I went but it was also in Amsterdam

If it's cheap, i don't mind working 24 hours a day in amsterdam without worrying to unable go home, cos that's only available in japan

This one is inside an airport, so you need a boarding pass that access it :)

I completely get where you're coming from, it's just important to remember this is in an airport and for example airport lounges cost about the same but without the privacy of your own shower. For someone who just came from an 8 hour flight and was about to board another one, it felt like the most heavenly investment 😍
