I would like to tell my story on how did I get here in Manila. Last Novermber 2019, naglalakad ako sa SM Iloilo and then this one BPO company based in Makati has reached out to hire provincial employees. On the same day, I was hired! 😂 Then kinabukasan, may ticket agad ako from ILO to MNL. I have no idea about what will happen to me in Manila kase hindi ko talaga alam kung saan ako mag iistay, pano ako kakain at pano kung di ko kaya. Now, when I arrived in NAIA, may grab sumundo sa akin, hinatid ako dito sa Dormitos, sa Cubao. I was really amazed. The dorm was my home for 3 months for free paid by the company I a.m working with. Nakakamiss. Babalik talaga ako ♥️
I remember staying in 2 different capsule hotels in Singapore one is located at Kampong Glam and one is located walking distance from China Town. This is good for backpackers and budget travellers.
Considering I was recently paying p1000 for a really nice room at a Red Planet just a few blocks from main Immigration building in Manila, I don't know that staying in a box for p800+ (based on the price 2 years ago), would be worth it.
@@jasminefloresph I think this only becomes viable if it becomes considerably cheaper than hotel rooms. Economies of scale should do that. If they can get the price down enough I would definately stay there on city trips! Saves me a ton of money and is good enough. But not if it can't significantly compete with hotels and hostels.
800 Philippine pesos translates to just over 15 United States dollars. Unfortunately here in the United States when you run a hotel $15 is about what the tax is up front before you pay anything. And to me that is greedy and greedy don't get my money I will sleep in my car somewhere else Drive outside of your city limits.
@@ecnivabus3608 When I'm traveling I'm sleeping in my car. I helped put my brother up in hotel recently >$240 for 2 nights not a weekend either. Much of the 💩 in the hotel was broken too. I worked in hotels I did my best to talk my brother out of staying there but he wanted location.
@@ecnivabus3608 this is the type of reply which really shows how badly you were raised by your parents, the dude prolly makes more money than you and even u dare to call the dude homeless where you're probably in your 20s and still living under your parents house and now that's a shame, my guy.
lovely facts but you have to consider the government in philippines have no serious control they didn't even monitor about the prices of these some business establishment that's why they take advantage of that. they can easily decide what prices they want.
1st time watching the vlogger. What caught my attention was the number of times she said "So" in this 8-min video - - 39 times. Medyo distracring for me. Other than that, dito ko lang nalaman na may Capsule Hotel din pala sa pinas. Good info to share.
Hi may i just ask the rate per day? Also...I assume that you have your valuables like your laptop with you right? Was it safe to have it with you there? How did you secure it when you go out of the capsule like when you stroll outside? Did you just leave it on the capsule and locked it in or did you put it on the locker areas? how was the safety and security within the vicinity with regards to items? Last thing, does the capsule have a TV in it? and is there a electric socket for Laptop charging inside it? Thanks!
Hi! 👋🏻 it’s P800 per night and regarding about the safety of the place it’s secured because before you can enter the building their is a guard to check if you have booking even before the reception. You can leave your gadgets inside the pod, people can’t access it if they don’t have your key :)
Great video, funny I saw this as I just stayed in a capsule hotel last night (video on my youtube channel) was amazing! How did you sleep? I slept so well ha ha 😴
Is it safe to put other valuables (like laptop) po ba in the locker as well? How did you secure your laptop po as you go out, or u bring it with u pag lalabas? 😅
