I didn't know YHA still existed! Memories of being 17/18 and trekking/ hitchhiking the Welsh coast from Chepstow to Aberystwyth. Half a century ago almost exactly. Trying to distract ourselves from the approaching A level results 😱 One hostel had a power cut, one was full up, so we (4 lads and 2girls) had to shelter from a thunderstorm and intense rain in a gents toilet. Good times. Hostels were great, though, every one was different and provided different levels of "comfort". All kept clean by those using it. We took various tasks, one cleaning the kitchen, one the WC and showers, one washing up etc. Wait....bar??? TV??? Strictly no alcohol back in the day. Thankfully there was often a pub nearby!

Well done on completing your challenge! I used to have an auntie that wasn’t my auntie. Me and my friends family had caravans at flamborough. Both our mums were our “aunties”. Great stuff. 😄 MOT !🟡🔵⚪️

Hand driers are usualy the biggest Germ filled devices you can find .☹, Love the wet floor sign on the Carpet ! 🤣🤣

My last trip to the lakes 😆🙈 Met a bird to go up blencathta...half way up she needed a shite so I had to keep look out while she curled one out. She put it in a bag and carried it in her backpack next to the sandwiches. We got to the top and the bastard sandwiches were warm 🤢 anyhow.....we got back down and she says 'I need to find a bin for my rubbish' I forgot about the shit and says just leave your rubbish in the back of the van.......she left a bag of her own shit in the back of the van the dirty cow
