I Stayed In An Abandoned Hotel By Mistake 

Too bad. Looks like it was a beautiful place at one time. Probably a lot of shattered hopes and dreams for someone.

If there was no fear of dying in a foreign place/country, that "resort" would be lots of fun. It's almost turning into beautiful ruins.

That 1st star looks like it replaced a decimal. Maybe it’s a 0.4 star hotel but the language barrier created confusion.

Probably some drug lords resort that is making millions on paper.

Been to places like this in south America lots of places are like this. It's all because tourists dont go to this places as much.

Y’all really need to be more situationally aware. Everything you wear, carry, and exhibit behaviorally screams “I have family who will pay ransom”. Be sure to order extra Brugmansia powder in your margaritas so you don’t remember the abduction or why your bank account is transferred to Central Bank of Ecuador. J/k I hope you do have at least a few more crew members off camera in sketchy situations

I had this happen to me in Saudi Arabia. Except we couldn't even stay in the hotel because all the windows had been taken out. Had to drive hours through the night to get somewhere else 😬

For a minute i thought i was watching Urbex Theory or Exploring with Josh! Looked totally abandoned. Very weird that they let you stay there. Like you hinted, there could have been some sinister stuff going on there. Glad you got through the night and got away safe.

What if the one person at the front desk was a serial killer? Or at the very least, steals your personal belongings. I wouldve taken photos of the hotel's shabby condition, and disputed the charges on my credit card. It misrepresented itself/false advertisement.

So, what happened to it? Someone came up with the idea to build there and it looked as if it once was great. I would like to know some background here.

This just frustrated me... you should not have taken the risk to stay there, esp since you had a female with u. And no offense, esp cuz ur both white. This couldve been traffickers who took over this abandoned hotel & made it all seem official until it was too late for you both to escape. Places like that exist all over, this place seemed like one of them... Im glad you were filming...You are very lucky nothing bad happened.

Wow I can actually see a movie being filmed there you know your typical bunch of american kids looking for something about a treasure hidden somewhere around the estate owned by a druh cartel or simply looking for a place to make a movie on a low budget etc . The owners have potential to make something out of this Hotel. So sad though I can only imagine how the must feel holding to the environment and constantly looking for new customers that obviously won’t go spend their only 7 day vacation in a dilapidated Hotel. I hope the owners find a way to keep it until dooms day happens. Russia are being attack over their territory as we speak and probably will have no choice to use nuclear weapons which will escalate into something world wide because that’s what the WEF’s billionaires want to happen for their new 2030 world order agenda.
