Thanks for these spectacular scenes from japan. Japanese culture and people are amazing and the calmness in this video can be felt in this video. Hoping to visit someday soon ❤
interested in Korasan & zen buddist tradition I've stepped to your video. Just what I was seeking for! Thank you very much! just the mood I needed, beautiful zen music and no words at all. Bless you
Hey footage at 0:36-1:02 I believe you shot in front of Shojoshin-in where I stayed in November 2023! But I think your rooms at Rengejo-in were a cut above what I had! Dinners looked about the same though! Lovely.
One of the many aspects of Japanese culture that I love is how spacious their rooms are. I emulate it in my apartment. Since I am single and will remain so, the only item that consumes the most space is my inflatable mattress in the bedroom. Otherwise, everything else is in a closet, cabinet, or drawer. No living room furniture and everything that I own can fit into my car, which isn't large.
I love the idea of being able to carry all your belongings wherever you go. There is a lot to learn from the Japanese minimalistic approach to life. 💯💯💯
Hi there! I happened to be at the Kongobu-ji temple complex on Tuesday afternoon, at around 1:30. I’m not sure how often we can see monks there but I hope that helps a bit.
@@retrohikes Thank you so much, I was under the impression that these chants are only in the early morning hours. So thats good, gives better odds of seeing one throughout the day :)
Where can I sleep there at a reasonable cost? It's crazy expensive as far as I can see! I just took a look on Booking and two nights there cost like more than one third of my two weeks stay in Japan. Is it worth? Thanks.
Hi there! Staying at a temple lodging was one of the highlights of my trip there. Rengejoin was on the cheaper side (25,000 yen per room) and I loved it. I also wanted to get the most of Koya San and booked Guest House Tommy for the second night (8,000yen). The prices might be slightly different now but I would do the same thing if I went there again. Hope you can get a nice deal for yourself! 🤞🤞🤞
