Phenomenal singing! Please consider covering “Where the Streets have no Name” or “Sunday Bloody Sunday”, with Nataly on lead vocals, as well. I was also thinking that you could emulate Paul McCartney and perhaps release an album of only demos, or include demo tracks along with the main songs on your next album. You’re one of my favorite bands, in any case, and thanks for writing and performing such great music!
What an absolute pleasure to work with wonderfully talented musicians Nataly and Jack of Pomplamoose and their band on this cover. It sounds SO GOOD! I think this has been my favourite day since all of this began. Pure fun, pure expression, and great musicians all round! We had such a good time recording this!
@Kttunstallofficial. Five minutes ago I didn't know who you were. You bet I'm gonna find out everything I can about you now. What an incredible vocal - - I've heard this song 1000 times, my band (30 years ago) covered this tune so I sang it hundreds of times, and never has it quite given me the chills the way you just did - and that's compared against Bono - a vocal god. You're awesome. EDIT: Ok, I just figured out who you were. I feel like an idiot... LOL. I guess it's time to rediscover you.
KT, having you in the studio was a dream come true. You have such a vibrant presence and a voice I have loved since the day I heard it. THANK YOU for joining us!!!
Time to show Brian Green some love. So often, Jack or Nick kind of steal the show with their funny stank faces and awesome talent, but Brian has always delivered solidly and more often than not impressively on the guitar. Brian, we see you. We hear you. And I think you're great!
... Something tells me you haven’t exactly been following Pomplamoose from the beginning 🤔🤨 Always good to give a shout-out to “the other” band members, tho 🤷🏼♂️👍🏻
@@yobhsiFehT True dat. I discovered Pomplamoose just this year, and have quite a backlog to sift through. Are you implying that Brian was more mediocre before?
@@yobhsiFehT I gotchu fam. And I LOVE their early stuff as well. So creative! But I think you'll aggree they've gone from strength to strength over the years, accumultating skilled help along the way. My personal crush is Sarah Dugas, who is so packed with talent and sensuality that I don't know how to handle her.
+++ KT did a great acoustic lockdown session - as I'm in lockdown again it is just the job! If you haven't got long, listen to the first couple of tracks though the last one is "Suddenly"! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iUQjupOeWN8.html
It’s groovy sure and he’s a fantastic bass player, but the fourth note (b3) in the main riff just clashes with the verse melody. Because the original song is so ingrained in my head it makes my ears go “ouch” every time he plays it. ( 🎶 NO!! ). It’s like a River Deep, Mountain High feel under the wrong song.

This is the best cover I've ever heard of this song. Natalie's baseline is soooooo cool... and KT's vocals are out of this world. Instant fave. I want to hear this on the radio every day for the next month.
WOW! What a gift, a new favorite with an old favorite utilizing their talents so well! I got chills all over this music. KT at 2:40....hot damn! She got the vehicle to really show a side she rarely reaches. And what a reach. The style of pomplamoose is SO intensely intricate. Great, great, great version. They are incredible. Sometimes the "additives" of two acts don't work so well, but this combination is magic.
I dont even understand how your voice can be that rough and yet so crystal clear at the same time! The smooth af instrumentals just add to it sooooo much. The cranky ass slow gutiar solo too!
Weird! I had the goosebumps when I first listened to KT on Later with Jools here in the UK. Now I find the same feeling with Pomplamoose.....And then, wow...Together, just brilliant!!
Still remember my jaw dropping watching KT doing Black Horse on Later with Jools all those years ago. A rare talent and love that you guys have teamed up.
I am in awe at the sheer skill Brian, Ben, and Nick demonstrate on all of these videos (and all the other session players involved in all the videos). To be able to pick up and put together a song so fast and so completely is impressive beyond measure.
You got KT Tunstall?? She was the very first artist I bought an album from. I still go to her music for comfort or a burst of energy. Amazing cover! Thank you Pomplamoose!
What - a - fabulous - interpretation !!! I was waiting to hear the ka-thunk! of KT's mic drop at the 'fine' but the "blues ending" and "three more clicks" was a brilliant 'coda'!
Wow! That girl😲💕😲💕😲💕and the instruments feel like powerful ocean waves and wind on a fall day I see her on a cliff by the ocean singing this into the storm.......what a treasure you are, girl ! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💐💐💐💐
OMG! There is no center to the Universe nor Pomplamoose! What a surprise & delight to see how you share your talent with others such that you bring out the best in them while revealing even more goodness in what you share. I adored seeing this side of your Being. Such a generous & fruitful entity you are. P.S. So sweet that warm and loving sight of a partner rubbing the chest of her significant other with the admiration his work . . . his channel. The Universe has gotta be full of gladness with the existence of that.
Lots of ‘goosebumps’ moments on this track! KT’s vocal, the vibe from the band, the BV’s… all fantastic. I love how you manage to breath new life even into songs that are already timeless. Amazing.
Great tune. Great cover. Love the treatment. It was therapeutic. The vocal edge and growl really emphasized the longing built into the lyrics while the band played some really ethereal stuff. Dare I saw it...Groovy, man."
Please know that your the sound, the feel, the voices, the music and the performing with your souls brings good feelings of joy and a smile to my face and heart. And in these times,, I really need it..thank you all for your talents!
I might not have found everything I've been looking for... But I am still grateful for the day I found Pomplamoose videos. And I wasn't even looking for them specifically. I was just listening to music and it came up in my recommendations. If I was a fish, I would be caught. And I'm still happy that I got caught by this. Maybe this is where the "What a lucky fish" saying comes from.
Omg... I had to listen to this one a few times in my headphones up loud... I think this is one of my fav of Pomplamoose, and KT has still such an amazing voice! Lovely to see them just having fun while making music only a few can even dream of!
What a breathtaking version of a song I've loved for years! An amazing collab, and KT's voice gave me shivers. Saved, saved, saved. If this cover ever gets released I'll buy it.
One of my favorite things is to see how much fun you guys had while recording this! Thank you all for that beautiful joy in this year that keeps being bizarre, at least here where I live.
I said to someone yesterday, the day before this published to YT, "It'd be awesome if KT Tunstall did a collab with Pomplamoose." Apparently I am a wizard. I promise only to use these powers for good.
