True but that can't justify the obsessive possessiveness... one must have certain level of maturity to understand that what loving truly means... So never understood Soo's problems... she wanted freedom... he selfishly caged her in the palace... he knew about her wish very well ... but he only think of his comfort not hers.
Love is not to possess but to let go... love is a promise to protect, respect and cherish the person you love... neither So nor wook understood these... wook never understood himself... he never loved soo... for so she is only one who accepted him ... he thus wanted to possess her.. that is not love...
사람이 사랑하는데 서로 사랑했고 잡고 싶고 함께하고 싶은게 사랑이 아니란 말인가? 해수도 그와 함께하고 싶어했고 보고 싶어했다. 왕소가 잡고 싶어했지만 결국 놓게 만든건 그녀였다. 늘 그녀를 목숨을 걸고 보호한건 유일한 한사람 바로 그였고 몇번의 죽을 고비와 아무도 그녀를 지켜봐주지도 않았을 때도 끝까지 지켜주고 싶어했고 자신의 자존심보다 그녀가 먼저 였고 사랑했다. 그게 사랑이 아니라면 도대체 뭐가 사랑인가? 끝까지 서로를 그리워하고 함께하길 바란 그들은 서로 분명히 그 누구보다 사랑했다고 생각한다.
So has core wounds that's all. She healed it and So did not want to let her go because of it. She could have chosen to get out of the palace herself but she did not do it because she chose to stay by So's side instead. I guess love cannot be contain and caged only by mere idealistic words and feelings as well.
