I took a Canadian road trip from Calgary, Alberta to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to visit the highest points in Saskatchewan and Manitoba and just explore random new places. The trip turned into one of the wildest side quests of my life - stealing and transporting an Alberta bollard all the way to Manitoba, to hopefully create a future bait round in GeoGuessr...

Regina resident here - really cool to see this local content! As someone who moved from Vancouver to Regina and knows how much residents of the big cities like Van and Toronto crap on the prairies, I appreciate that this showcases how things are actually pretty great here (obviously not counting the winter weather). There are some beautiful landscapes - I’d especially recommend Quapelle Valley and Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, and I haven’t been yet but Waskesu (spelling?) Lake up north also looks fantastic. And while we’re not exactly spoiled for choice when it comes to food and drink, there are still plenty of fantastic breweries and restaurants. You mentioned a brewery but didn’t show which one you went to; hopefully it was Malty National as they’re by far the best in the city and on par with top Vancouver breweries

HAHA! That made me to remember something from the past. In my youth in my hometown there lived brothers whose last name was Honkanen. Somewhere else in Finland there is a village Honkasennurkka which means literally "Honkanen's corner". Some guys had taken the sign, brought it to our hometown and installed it to the intersection where the street towards Honkanen bros house begins. The other of the brothers said that when he saw the sign, he laughed so hard that he almost drove off the road 😂
