Not gonna lie Sylvester would probably solo Vox in a fight. Vox is Twig coded. OHHHh yeahhhh- I was trying to recall what character Vox reminded me of a couple minutes ago, and it was definitely Sylvester. Completely forgot about him until I saw his face, but glad I can continue on with my day in peace without trying to solve that mystery (also darn,, I wish people were able to read/ comprehend dates :(
Okay so I just saw it as a way to avoid drama, you know like think about it, if it were you maybe, she's very defensive over unnecessary criticism (you're show is stupid) rather than literal real constructive criticism (you're show has writing plot holes in it, that are a little confusing) but that's just me, and I know a couple of other people have the same opinion, not starting a fight though, that's usually what happens when people share their opinion, but reading and watching her for so many years she's not entirely at fault with some of her decisions, and this is not me kissing butt or anything, i don't do that with people with big status, they're literally still people at the end of the day with feelings and shit, if that makes sense
Ofc more differences is that Vox lights up to get Valentino's attention like an actual Moth (cause Funni Moth Demon attracted to light moment), and his eye does the pulsing during that too, and he uses the affect to hypnotize people.
man, I truly do hate it whenever other smaller creators OCs get called a copy whenever a more bigger creator makes an OC similar to theirs, even though the smaller creator most likely made the OC before the bigger creators OC existed, or that smaller creator didn't know that bigger creator already made an OC that looks simliar to theirs. Ive had one of my ocs come shockingly close to hazbin characters, my best example being Myridia, who is ya guessed it, a spider pornstar. in a completely different way then angel. made before i even knew angel was either of those things. made years after id watched the pilot and had completely forgotten as hazbin as a whole. was definitely scary when the show came out and i realized what itd looked like id done. might just be due to my small audience on whatever platforms i do post on, but id only received one remark of angel. anyways, i love Syl, for the continous hate people give you abt him, ignore it. Both you and vivs characters and their own, and both deserve individual love. if you see this hoping for the best for you :]

all jokes aside , i genuinely think your character is better from an objective design standpoint . its a lot less cluttered and much easier on the eyes imo :-)
The only similarities: 1. Tv head 2. eye The eye part is what stands out to me as a tv head oc isnt really unique, but even if viv did steal the eye idea from you, its just one small detail, not enough to ruin either character as they also have their differences

this thing about original tv head characters makes me think of those tv head characters from Skippidi toalett that also was popular on youtube before Hazbin hotel was created; and those tv head characters from skippidi toalett become my insperation for my original tv head character.
Things like that just happen I guess, I made a Spider character who can control time who just so happens to look a tad like Alistor if you squint hard enough, it’s mainly the outfit and but with a purple black and yellow color scheme instead of alistor’s red and black

i actually made a ghost tv head before i ever knew about you but i did like animation memes. Her name was Ghost Glitch. I dont remember why i made her but i always loved Object Heads and i wanted to make a kind of easy one. Her lore isnt solid, she just kinda exists in my OC catalog. I do have 2 other TV Heads from adopts a bought so i might merge them all in a little universe. I do think later though i was inspired by the Radio meme. she had multiple eyes, the only feature she could have, so the colors would appear in the eyes.

6:21 I am from TF2 fandom, and I had a situation where I drew a scout for inktober, with syringes stuck all over him, he is bent, beaten up, draging himself, and its one of the best drawings I've made in that year, and, ever. It was done around 2017, and I followed another tf2 artist who was 50 levels of art skills ahead of me. Their shading and coloring were just a chef's kiss. 3 years later, they post an art of Scout... with syringes stuck all over him, his back is bent, he's beaten up, but just reversed in the opposite direction. Many similarities. I....well, I had a complex back then, I strived to get attention and any form of appreciation for my work. When I saw that art. The first thing that came to my mind was that they probably saw my scout because he was reposted with my permission to a large tf2 community group, and I was dead certain that they probably got inspired by my art and did their version. Either knowingly or subconsciously. I reposted their art to my page with words of "i am flattered." Because...I WAS FLATTERED. I felt like I was actually seen that a big artist from the fandom used MY work as a reference. I was very happy. I felt seen, appreciated, and acknowledged. I had rly bad complexes back then. Well, next thing you know, the artist got triggered. They actually NEVER saw my inktober art. I thought....huh...could they be....lying? So I went to get a second opinion. And despite similarities, our drawings were different. The idea was the same, but it turns out that the same ideas are able to come to different people. History has lots of examples. There's even a saying -"Geniuses think the same." I asked like 10 people, and the majority told me that drawings are different. It was embarrassing that I triggered the artist i admired and somewhat "acused" them. But it was actually a great learning experience for me. It also was a moment where I realized that I HAD COMPLEXES.
ya know to me Vox and Syl don't look that similar like yea they are both TV heads but how I see it is they both look individual and unique in their own ways keep up the good work!!!
Hey, sorry that you're getting harassment over this, I think Sylvester and tv head characters in general are awesome! Plus, even if you did take inspiration, (you didn't,) I've seen tons of people make fursonas based off of canon characters, fan children, kinsonas, etc- there's no reason to harass people like you, with pre-existing OCs that happen to look similar to canons ones, or other people who DARE to be inspired by the things they enjoy, or make characters based off of existing ones! Be you, be creative, have fun!

I'd honestly be honored but the hate comments oml... OCs are so freakin hard to do without finding a VERY SIMILAR OC much like the ones you draw, it's insane... I have a couple reaper OCs made because I liked PetPyves' "Twelve" and made my own story based off of the idea of having a guardian angel helping Vessels through hardships in their lives. I loved her Idea so much! It's basically a spinoff, but i'm definitely gonna have to put disclaimers that the idea was NOT mine in any way shape or form. sickygnargnar.

i actually find sylvester's color palette more appealing. not because i hate vox's colors, but because they're just more pleasant to look at: it's a classic box tv, and you can't go wrong with a classic imo.
