I stole my kid's play-doh set and made Bluey soap / Please read description

Hi Everyone,
This video documents my recent adventure trying to make Bluey-themed soap bars from a Play-Doh set.
Being born and bred in Brisbane, Australia - just like Bluey - the show holds a very special place in my heart and when I spotted this play-doh set, I just had to try making soap with it!
There is no voice-over, but don't forget to turn on the sound as the video is set to songs from the beautiful Bluey soundtrack. This video is not one of my usual tutorials, it is for entertainment purposes only, so sit back and enjoy! (But if you have any questions about soap, feel free to ask them in the comments.)

I was anxious too 😂. I procrastinated for an hour before pouring the final layer of clear because I was terrified of messing it up 😬. Thanks so much for watching 💜💙

You certainly have a lot of patience 😂. They came out great! Would you mind me asking what temperature you pour at for layering soap using the Stephensons ultra clear vanilla stable base and what temperature you initially melt it too, to keep it super clear like that. Thank you ☺️

It was at 74deg Celsius (165F) when I took it out of the microwave and just over 70deg by the time I started pouring. If you watch closely you’ll see me using my skewer to pull off the first layer of skin shortly after pouring. Doing this gives you a clearer finish as any bubbles or overcooked soap base tends to float and gets removed with the skin 👍🏻

How did you remove the soap from the mold all in one piece when the bluey and bingo were done? I want to make sure we do that right. My 5 year old is determined that we make this!

I inserted a bamboo skewer between the edge of the mould and the soap, and then pushed the skewer underneath the soap to lift the edge of it up and separate it from the plastic mould. This does wreck the soap so I made sure to do it in an area that would be discarded (the feet and lower tummy).
