Hello Suzy, the beef tenderizer actually works. You put it directly on to the beef as a powder before marinating for about 20 or 30 minutes. Then you marinate later. Or you can use lemon juice, pineapple peeling, pawpaw peeling. Tenderising and marinating are different. So you first tenderize then marinate. Hope it will be helpful.

You need to blend the peanuts in small batches on their own, maybe with a little oil. They need to mix until they turn liquid because the oil comes out and you essentially made peanut butter. It can take 5-10 minutes for each batch. But the taste is much better. You can also roast them a little beforehand in the oven or a dry frying pan.

You needed to add less liquid and also hit the “Max Blend” button to grind your peanuts to a paste. I think you just turned it on and didn’t use the correct function for your purpose. The blender will run for a full minute (you can stop it sooner if you wish) but if it’s still not the right consistency then just blend again, until you get it how you want it. One tin of coconut milk would probably have been enough for each batch of peanuts that you were trying to grind, rather than using two - or add more peanuts if ou use both tins.

So in your recipe, you said lemon.... but they look like limes, just so I'm not confused then, your lemons are smaller and green?? Here in the US, ours are a little larger and yellow...... our limes look like the lemons you used. I know fruit varies from place to place as well as variety that are plentiful in different regions. Thank you for sharing your videos, I have made a lot of your recipes, I write down what you put in and just cook them by my taste to make the ratios, I never use actual measurements anyway so following you , for me is easy, i dont believe i have ever made dangoo, or any other African beans, I have made red and yellow legumes, and green & yellow split peas, as well as regular beans.... pinto, navy and kidney........I appreciate your content, and I truly love your zest and enthusiasm for life!!!! God is so apparent in your life!! ❤❤

Hi Heather! You're so kind! Thanks a lot. I believe those green lemons are harvested prematurely here in Kenya. If they were left on the tree a little bit longer they would actually turn yellow. That's my theory. I have a small lemon tree I've been experimenting with and will let you know whether my theory is correct or not within a few weeks. 😁😁 I'm happy to hear the recipes have been useful to you. 🤗🤗

They're very easy to make. Just melt some butter, put some minced garlic, and then put your shrimp. Cook over high heat for a few minutes until they turn a solid pink. Then season with salt and pepper and you're good to go. I like this simple recipe because the taste really comes through. PS- I'm not a fan of shrimp but my husband looooves seafood so I love to make it for him. 😊😊

👋👋 Suzzy The only joint l'd like to get lost in your house is the kitchen, and especially around the fish section ! You might not 've realized how badly you've tortured me by placing the fish in this plate, just below my nostrils... So,just take care of your keys before those 6 weeks are over 😏
