@@DJPain1 thats amazing. With distrokid being the most affordable and cdbaby quite expensive and payed for each song. This is the future and imo a sign that music isnt dead, its just gathering strength for the future living. It’s still good to upload beats to RU-vid even if you aren’t seeing many beat sales from people clicking on your link to your website because eventually you can get monetized which is another lane to make extra money.

I wouldn't sell/buy an email list personally. There was a situation where a producer shared an email list specifically for producers to build look-alike audiences from, which was pretty valuable

Idk I like posting beats on youtube cause it let's me know what beat styles I'm good at. Now that I found my niche thru that discovery. But even if I don't make any sales with my beats I'm still gonna drop beats/ music on my youtube so I can get my channel monetized and make sum change from that. I feel like u should just do what's comfortable with you and so on. Like dropping beattapes on distrokid and doing youtube is where I'm at. If I sell a beat that would just add to that.

He said from his email list, but if I had to guess beyond that, it would be free MP3s from Beatstars. I’ve collected about 30 thousand email addresses that way

Some of these comments are something else man. Look, I don’t know if selling beats online is a waste of time or not. I personally never tried.
