I just installed an Active Autowerke Equal Length Midpipe on my BMW M4 Competition and it completely changed the entire sound of the car. I'm running catless downpipes with this non resonated midpipe so basically the only thing muffling the sound now is the stock axle back exhaust... Which will probably get changed out in the future. The car sounds absolutely amazing though and I'm very happy with the exhaust and sound. Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect exhaust setup for their M4.

It's crazy because I was listening to Active Autowerke exhausts for the G87 M2 last week, and I noticed it sounds better than most of other exhaust systems.

Hey it’s honestly not that bad, my car is almost straight piped and I don’t really smell it in the cabin much. Sometimes I will get a hint of it with the windows down if I’m at a light, but that’s about it and it’s barely noticeable.

Definitely a midpipe is the best place to start. Midpipes make the biggest difference, if you want more horsepower, I would say downpipes.

@@yhn.1 ok, we know that…. Just my personal opinion…. I don’t like the pops and stuff, plus it damages your exhaust so umm, yeah…… When I get mines, always keeping that off, to annoying to me 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️
