RU-vid community guidelines would frown on that. And I’ve never caught an animal by the pecker but if you could you could selectively take only males out of the population and I guarantee they wouldn’t find the trap as hard. I like it.
Its clickbait dude. I watched the video and his hand never looked like the thumbnail. Just another loser hoping to make money being a loser. Some are good, he isn't.
So the physics of this trap trick involves pressure. I'm sure you realize this and that is why you are confortable doing this. Having a large amout of surface area like your whole hand spreads out the impact and reduces the over damage of any single point. Unfortunately, this wont be the same for the poor animal caught in the trap because it usually has only one small bone in between jaws. It's the equivalent of sticking 1 finger or thumb in the trap. I bet it won't turn out the same if you do that.
I actually check all the animals I catch and unless there is a tree or something that they get leverage with there foot is never broke. I try my best to keep away from entanglement and I avoid those issues for the most part.

It really was for demonstration I wouldn’t trap if it was torturing the animal I try to be as humane as possible and I even buy very expensive traps to reduce pain for the animal. I put my hand in both types in this video. Thanks for watching.
