On our way to Gunma, we stumbled across a pretty amazing car meet. We were heading to a PA to grab some food on our 3 hour journey and on the highway we caught up with a TON of screaming Bosozoku bikes and cars. They were actually holding a huge meet at the PA we were stopping at, so I decided to walk around and film this amazing experience!

Ive been building cars since 2005 my passion has always been the r34 but watching your vids has ignited a deeper passion for them. Seeing the nismo shop and top rank shop has made me appreciate the quality of these cars not just what they are capable of. Thank you for refueling my passion for the gtr and all cars in general. I may not ever own one but I have a drive now to own one eventually in some form!

Same here bro! Absolute was my fav since I saw PW driving it in fast and furious and couldn’t wait til I was older to own it.. now they’re 100+K 😫 but Watching Dut’s vlog makes me want an R34 so the GTT is in sight now more affordable 😅

@@divz24 I just bought myself an ER34 GTT and I highly recommend if you can lock one down do it!! Because next year the GTT's will be worth over 100K easily like the GTR is, especially that the 97/98 GTT's we'll be legal to import to the US. I got myself a 2000 and still paid a heck of a lot for it but it'll be worth it in the long run as the value will only continue to go up.

Same here, been building cars since 2000! I've owned many top end Japanese cars, but 3 kids and they had to go. Ive watched your videos since the last Japanese trip and have now bought a very highly modified E52 Elgrand vq35. Lots of fun but seeing you in the R32 and R34 makes me miss mine so now I'm working my **** off to get them back (at like 5x the price of when I had them 😂) Keep up the good work mate, loving these videos (as an ex youtuber I know how hard it is!)

Albo said it perfectly: "Fighting so hard to keep it alive". This is so true. Go back 15-20 years, Daikoku was beyond anything you see today. We stayed out there ALL NIGHT!

damn dude there were like 7 lambos and a ton of crazy rare ass old cars...this show is nuts. A lot of people dont realize that Bosozoku and this crazy styling started in the 60s/70s with motorcycle clubs and gangs, then went to cars, then semis, and eventually some of them were later Mid Night Club members who some think had a fued with Bosozokus...that may be what led to the 1999 crash that led to them breaking up completely

Woooow....I was able to feel these very special meeting so intense with this wonderful creations, this unique unbelievable culture with all kind of modifications on bikes, trucks, buses and cars. So much fantasy, so much details, so much coolness, so much time travel and you caught up all the emotions and "open-mouth-moments" so well. Never knew about these crazy builds and I am so happy that you presented this fascinating japan scenes to all of us. Thank you! This video was like a never ending movie from the past to the future- I want to watch it again and again. Speechless....

When I was stationed in Yokosuka, we would get some of the Bosozuku bike crews come through and just take up both sides of the streets filled with the motorcycles. Or at 3am you could here them racing up and down the Togues as well. Thank you! DUT!

I'm so damn glad you got to experience the Shakotan styled side of JDM culture!!! The bosozoku or rowdy spirit will forever be intertwined into the touge styled, midnight wangan racing scenes of Japanese car culture. The Kyushu styled is also prevalent here in North Texas too, so Its crazy to actually see the authentic enthusiasts out there still rippin it!! When I visited last, staying in an APA hotel in Osaka, there were bosozoku bikes riding and reving up and down the street for hours, the police would just follow them without their sirens on, I guess just letting them know they want them to move on. Kind of like what happens at Daikoku PA. The sound of those bikes echoing through such a dense city was something I'll never forget. I think the bikes are bosozoku where the cars are usually kaido racers, but very interlinked subcultures no doubt.
