I tricked my followers by styling drugstore clothes into trendy instagram outfits! For this instagram experiment I wore drugstore clothing for a week of instagram photos. I wanted to see if i styled drugstore clothes into a typical "sierra" outfit, could anyone notice the difference?? Do brand names actually matter at all??

You've done high class and low class store hauls, you should do a middle class haul, with stores like JCPenney, Kohls, and Old Navy. I can't be the only one of your viewers can't afford Free People and Nordstroms (Ok, I'm from Montana, I didn't even know what those places were before I started watching your channel.) But I also don't shop just thrift stores and Wish. I'd love to see how you'd style those type of clothes!

I haven’t been there in ages, but I did pick up a top from the discount rack last month for a Florida trip and it seemed to fit really well. But I didn’t look around too much. I know they have stuff online, but do they carry that in store? I would love if they did because it really is my style.

The only photo that made me question anything was the first one. I thought the skirt looked odd but I couldn’t put my finger on it lol the one where you cut the blue floral dress into a top, I literally want to go buy that dress and cut it into a top. It looked so cute wow

I second the suggestion for Dollar General or other "dollar" stores. One of my husband's favorite dresses on me is from Dollar General. Aldi, (yes, the discount grocery store!), also carries clothing and shoes and I've bought it and liked it.

Probably depending on location/tourism. I live in Michigan, and drugstores don't sell clothes except cover-up dresses in the summer and flip-flops.

"The label on the inside of your clothes doesn't matter." Amen! 👏 I recently bought a sweater from Walmart, and I've gotten so many compliments on it! I don't hesitate to say where I got it. Paying less for things often means they don't last long, but if I love a piece, I buy it anyway. My theory is: jeans, pants, and shoes need to be invested in. Shirts, sweaters, and cardis come and go.

Pretty much...I mean, you could wear top to toe designer and look awful if the clothes don't fit or suit you. I never base my clothing choices on the cost or "prestige" of the clothes.

The tag inside the clothes shouldn't dictate how you feel about the clothes... The only addendum I'd add is "Unless the tag reflects that you supported a brand who is ethical and sustainable". I used to buy cheaper clothes at stores like this to supplement gaps in my wardrobe on a budget, but then discovered that often times these cheap clothes come at the cost of underpaying the people that made them in a crowded factory overseas. Not knocking budget shopping or saying that's the case with all drugstore clothes! Just something I think about when considering the cost of what I add to my wardrobe these days.

I bought some fleece lined leggings a few years ago from Walgreens that I really liked. They were warm, came in a variety of sizes and colors...I was pleasantly surprised.

It’s a running joke with my family just how cheap I am with clothes! I can find awesome deals at thrift stores and that’s predominately how I shop (I also do some secondhand shopping on eBay as well)! I rarely ever buy anything brand new (unless it’s on clearance 😅) so it’s a running theme every time I buy something for everyone to guess the price! Could you maybe do a video where you thrift everything from an actual thrift store (consignment shop, goodwill, etc. and not online like thredup) then take us along for the actual shopping portion and wear those items for x many days?

I would love an actual thrifting video. Not thredup or poshmark because those videos make it look so easy to actually find things but it’s not! Lol I’ve tried so many times. Plus those online items are usually more expensive than thrifting irl which defeats the purpose for a lot of people (like me) ❤️

Alexandra Patricia I agree! ThredUp (I’ve never used poshmark so not entirely sure on that) is NOT affordable thrifting! I’m a broke college student, I don’t have the money for that! Thrifting in stores is so much fun, environmentally friendly (such as previously mentioned), and cheap ways to add to your wardrobe!

C Mampa I honestly think it’s her location. She’s in California. California always has tourists. Those drug stores probably carry clothes so tourists can easily grab cheep clothes. Im in a state that doesn’t get many tourists and my drug stores do not have clothes.

As an Australian, I find the idea of drugstores selling clothes to be insane. But I noticed they were all very fashionable and easy-to-wear styles. Honestly such an inspiration to me, love your personality and the way you fashion clothes has given me the courage to go outside of my normal boring style. Even started wearing those shirts that look like swimsuits cant think of the name anyways love your videos and think you're an amazing down to earth person :) thanks for giving me confidence to try new things

I'd honestly LOVE to see you do a video where you shop at stores like Hot Topic and Box Lunch and try to style some more of the grungy/nerdy clothes to YOUR style. ALSO YOU HAVE MY BABY YODA PHONE CASE FROM DISNEYLAND!!!! I just got the one for the 7plus in Pink!!! So cute.
