its nearly like a master duel ranked match, if you start 2nd then MFers suddenly summon half of their deck to the field (because other half is already used up) and all your cards are gone, basically you are in shadow realm, you wait for them to attack and then you realize its still your turn..
I've never seen the show, but I thought Yu Gi Oh was the main character? Therefore, the opponent WAS the main character, the guy sunmining Pot of Greed was not.
@@cameroncharley9905 I activate my trap card looney tunes. When my opponent calls a Michal Jordan it gives me control of that monster which then allows me to special summon bugs bunny, lola bunny, dpahnee duck, and a bunch of other cards. When Lola is placed on the field all your male monsters are sent to the grave yard and she gains an additional 20000. Now I activate pot of greed which allows me to draw 3 cards. Oh look *reveals a basketball * when I have a basketball in my hand all my monsters have an insta win effect.
It's even funnier cause the other duelist is getting butthurt about it but tryna remain calm and polite but you can tell his patience is wearing thin 😂😂
I love the fact that the opponent is yugi, and thus it’s Kaiba playing this match, using Yugi’s deck, doing the Yami voice, and having Joey root for him
I like to think that this is what Yugioh would be like if written by an American writer and not a Japanese one. We wouldn't hesitate at the chance to troll our friends by cheering for his rival.
Actually… _i think he might be Tristan._ He’s got the hand paint, but Yugi and Joey never wear a red jacket. Duke *kinda* appears in the tape scene; in the art for “Unity,” Duke is there for some reason. Teá? Fuck Teá.
After watching this video 300 million times I conclude that whoever Joey was, didn’t get enough props. He clearly was friends with Yugi, suddenly jumping ship and joining kaiba once he was cracking up laughing
That's how you understand that the anime isn't about playing right, but rather playing confidently wrong so your enemies just accept that it's what's supposed to happen.
What absolutely slays me with this is the utter confidence and dedication to the bit in the Pot of Greed guy’s delivery of everything he says, makes me laugh so much every single time I watch this
Fun fact: there is an actual monster card called "Avatar of the Pot", which has the effect of allowing you to discard "Pot of Greed" in exchange for drawing three cards from your deck.
I don't know why you niggas keep saying that Ya most of the time they did some stuff that didn't make sense, but overall they still followed the general format. The only time they would flood the field with monsters and other bullshit is in the first season. When the game just started out After that they followed the rules. Aside from activating spells wrong and playing traps from the their hand
Fun fact: the reason 60 is the deck limit is because someone once entered a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament with a deck containing 2222 cards (there was no hard limit at the time) with the intent to waste as much time as possible by shuffling the deck frequently.
@@LuckySketches Most likely none because the card was banned in 2004 and the tomfoolery took place in 2007. They were also apparently a judge for those kinds of events, so they made sure the deck was legal within the requirements at the time.
For those that are unfamiliar with the game and who want to know what rules he broke: -you can’t summon spells -pot of greed only lets you draw 2 -you can’t reuse the same spell over and over -“magic force” is actually called “mirror force” -mirror force doesn’t let you play pot of greed -traps (mirror force) have to be set before using them -mirror force destroys all opponents monsters if they attack -dark magician requires 2 tribute monsters to be summoned (the spell magicians curtain that he had in his hand could have summoned him from his deck for half his life points though) -you can’t normal summon twice on your turn.

When you realize that POT OF GREED only allows you to draw two cards it's already too late. Because i just drew POT OF GREED, which allowd me to draw three more cards from my deck!
“You can’t summon a bunch of cards on one turn!” “You never saw this coming! I summon Pot of Greed!” I love that he just steamrolled past all objection to everything he was doing. Which he has every right to do, because Pot of Greed allows him to draw three additional cards from his deck.
The best part about that first quote is that basically every returning player who hasn't played in 15 years has said something along those lines while staring at their opponent doing a 3 minute combo
Meanwhile my first deck was 5 pot of greed, Endless Dragon, Blue eyes white dragon, XYZ Dragon cannon and its components, Dark Magician, Flame swordsman, Monster reborn, Metamorphosis( I thought this was substitute for Polymerization) and a bunch of cards and no 4 star or below monsters(except for the xyzs)
As someone who doesn’t know the first thing about Yu-Gi-Oh this is exactly what it feels like watching people play it. Just say “NO” when someone says it’s their turn 😭
I love how the epic music starts playing at the exact moment he summons monsters on his opponent's turn, and the way he raise his arm dramatically before using the last Pot of Greed LMAO.
