I have nostalgia for "Burn in my Light" as I started watching in 2005 but "Voices" is simply iconic and not only that, it's just a banger song that I'd listen to regardless of it being a wrestling theme.
Facts I watch these myself, but the stache club I watch with my wife because she's gotten addicted to take quizzes to test her knowledge. She didn't watch wrestling growing up but since we've been together we have watched a lot together and she does pretty good at the quizzes.
I mean, it just makes sense that you vote for the logical option with the 4 horse women. I’m sure they’re fans of all 4. Just if you ask who had the best career of the 4 it is Becky. If you asked who’s your favorite of the 4 it would probably boost Sasha & Bayley a little bit. Still expect Becky to win that by a lot too though. Nice video John, good luck with the channel.
College football vs nfl and nxt compared with main roster is a great example. Nxt is definitely still developmental but Shawns booking is on par with Hunter. Trick losing the belt was a crazy call. But trick is proving now he can be big without a belt, that’s his story on nxt.
Jey Uso's reaction a live show I went to really surprised me. It looks like most of the hate that he gets is online and even then I think the people that criticize him make up the minority.
@@dreadwulf9050 its not just that, people are more likely to get swept up in the show. Pre NWO WCW Hogan was dying a death, everyone fucking hated seeing that shit, they would boo (face) hogan's name any time he'd get mentioned on the mic and then give him a huge pop as soon as the music hit.
I feel like this RU-vid channel will grow to the popularity of SantiZap. The reason I think that is he also started with another wrestling RU-vidr, and you did too. You also make similar content.
I don't think the move to Netflix is gonna change the language massively, but I think there'll be more general freedom and possibly more violence when it's called for...
Moreso than the move to Netflix changing the product with less censorship and how much they can push boundaries (which I think they will but only a little bit more than what it is now), I more interested in how it affects ad breaks. I assume they'll still have them whether it be their own ads for WWE content, existing partners or Netflix affiliated ones. But my hope is if they do have them, that they do them after promos, segments and especially matches (sort of like what they do now with PLEs) rather than have them cut mid way through each of them and break the flow.
The only issue with a womans mid card title is, what is being bumped from the shows? They obviously deserve it. The tag titles in both as it is don't get enough love. I think a womans mid card title would go the same way. I think we need to rethink what titles are on offer in totality so either there is enough time for them or just be okay some titles just don't get seen that much.
Personally, maybe because I do consider him one of my favorites; but I would have liked Punk to end the streak. To me his feud with Undertaker was better than the one he had with Brock and Roman, two people who did defeat Undertaker.
I went to a live smackdown n the hall of fame, it was the best day of my life also it was before wrestlemania and i cant imagine going to a boring show tho. I saw cody , randy , the rock, and roman
3:40 before the Streak ended, I could have put money on John Cena being the one to end it. I still feel it should have been someone like him (or 2020-2024 Roman.)
NXT being the minir league of WWE isn't even a matter of opinion. It is, it doesn't matter what guests they have on the show, the core roster is made up of people in their developmental program. In terms of Charlotte. She is good in the ring, but I find her incredibly boring as a personality. Wrestling is more than just in ring and to me her entire character is "i came out of my dad's balls" and there is no substance to it beyond that. I dont think she deserves the hate i certainly don't think she should be anyhwere near contention for the most world title reigns lol
My main issue with the Streak ending is who ended it. Brock Lesnar really shouldn't have been the one to end it. It should've been a young rising star that could've benefited heavily from ending it. Lesnar already had so many other accomplishments on him, he didn't need to end it.
I agree with this. Undertaker should have lost to a person who would have been elevated by beating undertaker. Roman and Brock were not the ones who should of beat him imo
@@user-fk6wl9mq1f With the spot Roman was in around the time the streak ended, Roman absolutely needed it imo If it was Tribal Chief Roman vs Taker, then I'd agree with you that he didn't need it, but Big Dog Roman was one of the most unpopular wrestlers at the time that giving him heel heat from beating Taker's streak was massive for him.
Anyone who thinks the streak shouldn't ever have been broken is stupid. The streak was only ever a thing to be broken. If it doesn't break, it is a build-up without a payoff
NXT may not have the big names or star power that the main roster shows do, but I do think it's the best run wrestling show on TV right now. They do so much more with the time they have when compared to a lot of other shows. They fit in more story segments, backstage segments, promos, and just things that move their story lines along.....while also having plenty of time for matches. I think the women's division is much better over there. The tag teams are far more fun (Hank and Tank especially). Guys like Oba Femi are great to watch. NXT is just more entertaining as a whole vs Raw and SD.
With the burn in my light question did you mean the song in general or for randy because I think burn in my light is a better song but I think it never really fit randy.... voices just does
By definition, NXT is the Minor League. But that by no means is an insult or puts down what they all do. There is a Minor league MLB team in my town, and I always (ok usually) have a blast watching them play. They do good work. But like in terms of star power, Trick Williams is no Cody Rhodes. Maybe he will get there someday. But not yet.
I mean calling it a minor league doesn't really make sense do you call college football a minor league I look at it more as college waiting to be drafted than the minor league in baseball
I still think the streak should have ended, but it didn’t have to be given to a star who was already a multi time world champion And up and comer from nxt would have been way better
This was a great idea. Sad I missed the polls but that's okay. Also Burn in my Light is better, I agree. Also with The Rock and Stone Cold, I think the IWC has some recency bias hate against The Rock cause of things the dirt sheets have said about him. I do think Stone Cold was the face longer, but The Rock carried the ball when Stone Cold was injured and The Rock had the highest rated wrestling segment of all time. I think it is like 1a and 1b, but Stone Cold slightly gets the edge
SCSA vs VKM was peak attitude area. That's why people were tuning in every Monday night. One segment doesn't define an era. The Rock did play an important role though and is one of the greatest of all time. Don't forget that they also had HHH and The Undertaker.
"what am I supposed to do, go out into the streets?" YES, expose yourself as a pro wrestling fan to the general public and stop people going about their day just to ask them which of the Four Horsewomen is more successful, do it NOW (JK)
They r not about to change wwe for netflix. I feel like maybe theyd do bigger things and curse but no nudity(i hope not) or sex or anything maybe thats rare i just dont want them messing up the womens division
I'd rather get rid of mid card titles entirely if they don't have a gimmick to them... One mens, one women's for each singles and tag team...Then shit like weight division based titles and Hardcore titles if they so desire... Add a no-former-world champions stipulation to US and IC titles if they want a mid card title...
This miz overhype will never not be crazy to me lmao. Dude is not that good. And please don’t bring up the same talking smack promo again that wasn’t even that good 😭
If you watched wwe in 2010's then Miz was a very important part and legit even in the most boring of raw/smackdown Miz would always come out and entertain us, he never missed and we love him for it.
Miz came out like a real proud champion during his IC title reigns while all other guys like roman reigns or dean ambrose looked sleepy and uninterested coming out with mid card titles
8:47... after they cut their tag titles and signed like 6 outside girls with 8+ years of exp.... they needed something for the homegrown talent dont ya think otherwise it wouldve been Gulia, JG, Stephanie for like till they move on to MR which believe me it wouldve gotten boring after the first year
