I attempted to survive for 100 Days In the new Alex's Caves Mod in Hardcore Mode.
The caves are named Primordial Caves, but I like to call them: Hollow Earth!
Can I manage to build a shelter, tame and capture all the dinosaurs and craft myself a Nuclear Bomb?

In case you haven't figured it out yet, the dinosaur "chops" work like a cake from vanilla Minecraft. You cook it, then place it down, and eat it piece by piece, by right clicking.

The reason your chicken was gone was because it spawned as a jockey and counted as a hostile mob. So when you left, it despawned. Great video :)

Oh in case you were wondering, the reason dinosaurs kept spawning in your base was the Amber obelisk. Naturally the only mobs that spawn in the caves are the lobsters and frogs, but the obelisks act as spawners for all the other cave mobs. I recommend moving them away from your base, on the other side of massive walls if possible.

I absolutely loved your video. It was fantastic. This was a very well edited video that was very detailed and was all around a work of love brother!! I enjoyed more than my kids i think. Tip for the future (half way through. maybe ya got it): combine a furnace and minecart and the resulting furnace minecart can be powered with one coal and push another minecart a long way. No need for powered rails or touching slimy green guys.

I once found the most amazing Primordial Caves in game...the only entrance into the cave, was through a water fall that fell from the roof of the cave and led out through a large lake in the middle of a jungle biome...wish I didn't end up deleting the world
