You can force beavers to make dams near you. You need beavers and a body of water. You could just build a pen with fence supports and walls, making sure you have water within the pen. Or just trust them not to go away

The frogs are legit my favorite tame in Ark. With a good saddle you can even go tank Mossasaurs, its so good.

A couple tips about mutations, the base stats of the parents will be the baby’s, but if you get a mutation check the base stats of the parents and if the babys melee or health or whatever you want is higher than the parents then that’s the mutation

I'll add if non of the stats are changed then the mutation went to movement speed which is a "hidden" mutation and doesn't go up on its own and is essentially a wasted mutation. Also for water creatures it's also possible that it could also go into oxygen even though they don't have the stat bar. Wildcard has never fix that issue. They essentially have 2 options for hidden mutations. If you get such mutations, it's not worth breeding further.

My friend and I started on Ragnarok. We built our first base in Viking Bay. And let me tell you.....it was terrible. Every time we walked out of our hut we were dive bombed by Itchys. Three megalosauruses just appeared from no where. Saberteeth and Carnos kept coming out of the woods. And one time they killed all but one of our dinos. Then, finally, when we had enough and decided to move...what comes bursting out of the trees? A frigging Rex.
