My heart goes out to the people who died and hundreds who were injured or lost their property because of the storm. My philosophy is to always see the bright side, this is why I make light of the situation. I didn't choose to witness a hurricane. I was just there when it happened and this is my story.
Its heart breaking to see all the devastation, the trees that fell and most importantly those who lost their lives during the typhoon. Stay strong my Vietnamese brothers and sisters. Prayers to you all, love from the Philippines 🇻🇳🇵🇭🙏🏻
Vietnam has it better than us in Laos. At least they have something to cut the trees out of the way. In Laos, we just sit there and feel depression. No tools to cut those fallen trees and branches.
I was there roughly a month ago. We had lots of rain but no serious storm and I loved hanoi , its atmosphere and everything else. Sad to see those trees all fallen near the lake and everywhere else
it's good to see that people are working together over there to get that all cleaned up and the bright side is the storm is gone and no other people there will die from it Thank You Tony
I was walking to get snacks in the old quarter and almost got nailed by a flying piece of metal that came off a roof. Still trees everywhere that need to be cleaned up. Mother Nature is one powerful bitch.
Oh my goodness was terrible 😢 typhoon 🌀 devastating a lot of people in the rural areas and I think going another’s storms would make it worse! Praying 🙏 for the families affected 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Many of the old streets had massive African Mahogany trees(Khaya senegalensis) planted in the footpaths. Original French plantings over 100 years ago. I saw them more than 20 years ago. The footpaths, roads and buildings would have been at great risk if those trees were to move. Given the wind, I expect many have gone.
your nonchalance, and disregard for personal safety just goes to prove that as a human race we should let natural selection take its course.... Did you actually study the weather patterns in the pacific, and then realise that there have only been 3 catagory 3 super typhoons to make land in northern vietnam since 1943? My family is in Hai Phong, and we have suffered terribly despite being well prepared for this.... people have lost their lives, and yet you make light of it by getting drunk in a hostel...... this thyphoon may have weakened when it passed Hanoi, but that just means that it has dumped all its energy and rain in the highlands causing landslides and loss of roads and tarnsportation.... All of that water is going to flow back down through the delta to the sea with a vengance, so I hope you are prepared for that..... loss of roads and transportation, crops ruined, shops and markets already emptied of food will not get replenished, but at least you can get fries at the hostel eh? how about making a video where you go out on the streets and help the local communities get back on their feet!
Hello these is nothing compared to northern Vietnam near china & SAPA tourists spot is mudslide & bridges collapse, flooding & rivers over flooded & hillside collapse death toll around 70- ,100& thousand homeless people & no water & electricity ok😮😮😮
Bọn tôi không thấy vấn đề lắm miễn sai họ cho tâm bão chúng tôi thấy tỉnh còn lại là 1 điều gì đó vui cho đồng bào rồi mất internet do bão thật khó cập nhật 😢
Whenever Vietnam experiences a natural disaster, the Communist authorities are thrilled because they’re about to receive aid money, which they end up dividing among themselves, taking the majority of it. Whatever remains, they call on the people to donate.
