As a Wolfsburg fan, thank you for visiting us! I know we are far from being one of the most liked clubs in Germany, and I can totally see where that comes from. We don't have the loudest stadium or the biggest fan base, but I also know how many people love this club and support it with passion, including myself. So it's so nice to see someone making his own opinion on my club! I even found myself and a friend in the video when you filmed around the stadium. Great video with a great message. I will love this club no matter how much hate we'll get

7:55 - If you want to go to Hoffenheim, watch out for their matches against the big clubs like Schalke, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Dortmund etc. since Hoffenheim never sell out their stadium, it has become some kind of a tradition to "invade" their stadium with as many away fans as possible. In these kind of games Hoffenheim fans might as well be outnumbered in their own stadium, so watch out for it.

It's always about the passion and relationship of the fans to their own club, and even if there aren't as many of them as other big clubs and they don't sell out the arena, it still doesn't take anything away from their enthusiasm. FC Bayern München e.V. It is 75 % fan owned and the other 25 % has Adidas (8.3%), Allianz (8.3%) and Audi (8.3%). Compared to Wolfsburg which is the subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim being 95% owned Dietmar Hopp. Given how German football is founded on the idea of fan ownship (50+1 rule) you can see why they are disliked.

Really adventurous approach 😅 Somehow i like it. On the other hand, there would be soo many other "smaller" clubs in German worth visiting, also in lower leagues, like Dresden, 1860 Munich, Essen.. Or also really small clubs like Heidenheim, Greuter Fürth, Sandhausen or whatever. Better to bring attention there than to Wolfsburg or Hoffenheim.

my father took me to a game there(he works for vw), and i guess i am a fan now👍. fyi, you need to go at night, everyone works at vw there so they dont have time, at night on weekends it is usually quite packed

Nothing wrong with Wolfsburg, Leipzig, Hoffenheim. Been to 2 of those and had a great time, nice grounds, good atmosphere, friendly people. No different than at other grounds in Germany. If you don't like big commercial teams, go to level 3 or further down, matches. The top divisions, certainly in the big football countries' are all commercial and about money.

Bristol City fan here wigo.. I lived in wolfsburg in 79 back then they were virtually a non league team. They come a long way since. Always look for their results, a soft spit that won't go away... I already know u talk Nonsens wolfsburg do have Tradition Club got register in 1945 there played 1954 in the highest league of there Region 1974 there where a founding member of the second bundesliga had a Chance to Promote to first league but lost then there got Promoted in first league 1997 without "Volkswagen" then Volkswagen took 90% from wolfsburg in 2001 then 2007 there took 100% won 2009 the league and 15 the cup and the Super cup how ist that no Tradition?? Wolfsburg was founded in 1945. Founding member of the second league. Since 1998 in the first league. VfL Wolfsburg was not founded by VW but unfortunately bought out in 2001. Check your facts.

People have to remember that Hoffenheim are the size of a lower league club with Bundesliga level players so that's why they don't bring many fans in away games. It's not their fault that clubs like HSV, Schalke, Nurnberg, Hanover etc are badly mismanaged off the pitch. 😬

This is a weird title. Why would Wolfsburg be hated? So what if they are funded by the biggest business in the city that provides jobs to lots of those people....surely this is a good thing? Totally baffled as never heard this mentioned regarding Wolfsburg before. There are lots of teams that could be linked with the term 'worlds most hated' ((Man U, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, Newcastle, PSG, Millwall, Real Madrid etc) but definitely not Wolfsburg.

No, that is the face of the team captain of the team from 1954 which achieved the promotion to the Oberliga (the highest tier that time) for the first time. The Ultragroup Coessione use it as their logo.

The tickets cost significantly more than the equivalent of £10> And Wolfsburg is also not the most hated club. That is a clear lie what the guy writes. The most hated club in Germany is RB Leipzig and then Bayern Munich.

@@ianpodmore9666 That's not right what he's saying. In Germany, as is well known, there are standing places, which are the cheapest. In Wolfsburg, the cheapest ticket is 14 euros for a standing room and the most expensive up to 70 euros.

Hoffenheim has a beautiful, modern Stadium, right in the sweet countryside north of the Black forest. The home Support is fairly decent for a town with less than 40k inhabitants. It's definitely worth visiting once, ideally when they're hosting a club that plans a fan invasion. 🙂

RB Leipzig is de meest gehaatte club in Duitsland met afstand. Ik woon al 5 jaar in Berlijn en zit om de week in het stadion (bij Union Berlin). Leipzig is echt met afstand het minst populair. Sowieso een keer heengaan. Leipzig is best een leuke stad ook.
