Let's put new brakes on the rear of the wagon. Hint hint, I had issues with the new 11" drums. I tell which part number to avoid and which to buy if you're doing an 11" Mopar drum brake rebuild.

Have a set of those 11" backplates with some hardware on them and had been wanting to get rid of them. Thanks to this video and the last one, I have decided to keep and restore them. Thanks Jonny

Awesome Javi. 11” drums are gold to those who know. You’re welcome for the video. Thanks for the view man. Greatly appreciated.

Just changed the pads on my '69 Bee, Original 11" drum brakes all around, Front pads were 3" wide (part# BB 336), Rear were 2 1/2 wide (part # BB 335). I also noticed the Oreilly's part # for the drums you mentioned would match up with the front drums and they don't show a part # that matches up with the rear. My 50+ year old drums were able to be turned so I did not have to go thru the pain you did. Thank you for the video, I bookmarked for when I do end up needing rear drums.

@@anthonyrodriguez4210 Thanks for the comment and part numbers Anthony. I’m sure someone has struggled in the past and will struggle in the future and hopefully they find this video.

11 inch drum now that the first time I ever saw one I basically only work with 9 and 10 inch drum on pick-ups truck but I did a swamp on one that took the whole rear end off from one truck to another it had a 10inch but the shoe and drum was off on one side and had to switch it off with the 9inch from the old rear end it was not too hard for me to do it use to be cheaper for smaller size but now I think it got to the same prize for all sizes.

Yeah, I think you’re right. But now that they’re all not so main stream that’s their excuse to charge a small fortune.

Cool I never throw away any parts till I'm done cause today parts places do not know crap!... Good thing I have a drawer full of brake hardware for my Mopars.... But why would you want non adjusting rear drums? I have always used the adjusting style...10 or 11"....and in a A body 9" but would never drive a car in real traffic with 9" drums very marginal and the small upper ball joints had a tendency to snap at the wrong time.

The 11” brakes I had were non adjustable. It’s just what I had.

I heard late B bodies cars have 10inch to 11drums up front. 10 inch in the rear. Depending what setup you running. Disc brakes were optional on some model.
