Jollibee chicken joy is really one of the best fried chicken out there. The gravy goes well with it, too. Spaghetti is sweet because it made with banana ketchup. Try the Palabok and Peach Mango Pie. They have Tuna pie, too.

Ovela if You noticed the Iced tea ,Burger sauce and the Spaghetti are all sweet. The Chicken and Fries are salty. That is the typical Filipino combo sweet and salty

Yes, you’re right about the fried chicken. I think it was the oil that has been used the whole day. It’s best to eat chicken when it’s the first batch of chicken with new oil (when it’s open in the morning).

The Philippines' Jollibee chicken joy is made to suit the Filipino tastebud. Try having Jollibee chicken there in Canada, it may taste better. 😊

It's okay Ovela, not everybody has the same taste. Maybe Filipinos love the chicken joy because our tastebuds are so used to its taste. I still like your honest comment about it and hope anyone from the Jollibee team gets to know about your vlog on their food. I'm also glad that you've really come to our country and had experienced our culture, our food and others. I'm also happy that you liked Jollibee spaghetti because some weird person had the guts to really spit it out on the plate while vlogging, idk if you knew who he was🤭. probably the taste lies in the oil, it being used a number of times. I havge noticed that jolibee doesn't taste that good anymore, especially if it is a take out.

I think you are not the only one who said something about the oil used in fried chicken in the Philippines. Other foreigners also do notice that difference right away. Don’t know if it is because of the freshness issue of the oil or the type of oil used in the Philippines for frying. But for me, Jollibee is still one of my favorites maybe because I have not tried eating a lot of fried chicken in other countries.

Too bad you never got to experience Jollibee at their peak (2019 and years below it), Jollibee's fried chicken now tastes really different from 5 years back, trust me you'll love it had it not been that you had it this current time. Even their gravy tastes different now. I don't know what happened, but certainly they did some changes in the breading mix in the fried chicken and the gravy recipe as well. I love Jollibee back then, but I prefer other fastfood chains now especially Mang Inasal. The next time you here in PH, MANG INASAL is a must! Ang pambansang inihaw na manok ng Pilipinas

Ovela's thoughts on Jollibee are on point. I'm pinoy of course I love jollibee, but yeah when you are at the mall and you smell that kind of scent, you know that there is a jollibee near by, and I think we can all agree that McDonald's fries are the best even hear in PH., I don't know if you tried Jolly hotdog, peach mango pie, amazing aloha yumburger and burger steak, if not, you should try it next time, I will not recommend pancit palabok, I think that's not your type of food. hehe

One of my favorite fried chicken is at jollibee. but I can't eat much anymore coz I have high blood pressure since I reached the age of 30's. but when I was under 30, I kept buying but I couldn't enjoy it either because my co-workers always shared me even though I didn't offer them to eat with me🤣 and when I eat inside the jollibee I couldn’t also enjoy because it was noisy. I know what you mean about the chicken…it’s like a soap smell and taste. I bought a 10 piece spicy and had to throw it out. Try McDonalds fried chicken it doesn’t have that smell and taste. Best place for fried chicken is Five Star Chicken. Shout out to 5⭐️🍗-Kalayaan always hot, fresh,and delicious; the staff are amazing as well , and so nice and welcoming like all filipinos❤

Jollibee chicken is good but not the best i think coz it's very simple. I like chicken mcdo and kfc as well. With regards to popeyes chicken, the 1st time I tried it, it was salty for me and that was more than 5 yrs ago. I tried it the 2nd time last week and its not that salty anymore. It tastes better now. For me I like all those fried chicken but I dont know what is my favorite. I think they are equal for me. They all taste good but not the best. I havent found the best fried chicken for me I think.

For some specially the foreigners are quite amazed by jollibee. But honestly many or the vast majority doesn't like jollibee not that it tastes bad but we are so used to its flavor/taste that we would opt out and go to other place to eat out. Nothing wrong with jollibee though. 🤣 when you're so used to eating it your taste buds will look for somerhing else 🤣

Try the Burger Steak, Aloha Burger, Palabok Fiesta Noodles, and the Pineapple Juice. If you go there early in the morning, you can order a silog (garlic fried rice with fried egg) breakfast combo that you select: Beef Tapa, Pork Tocino, Pork Longganisa, or Corned Beef.

u can be honest if u dont want it, because not all can like jollibee, im a filipino but often i hate theirchicken. u can say it nicely but not in a bad way.
