I love how this is such a wholesome way of keeping a smart dog engaged and satisfied. A lot of people grump at smart dogs for being troublemakers, but it's normally only because they're bored. Something tells me that that's not much of an issue here with him always learning all these new tricks for these videos!
It looks to me the other way round. Liam is constantly trying to distract Max from his piano practice. Max being the prodigy, only wants to totally immersed in his piano playing.
I cracked up when max started playing the piano when Liam was trying to talk to him. It sounded like his way of communicating that he didn’t care and he just wanted to play the piano.

So Max has trained Liam to give him treats whenever he presses piano keys. He's trained Liam to give him treats when he presses computer keys and whenever he performs table manners or feeds himself, too. What an accomplished dog!

No joke, you are the reason why I got a poodle puppy a few months back! Ever since I started seeing Max's videos, I researched a bit about how smart poodles or poodle mixes are. I love your patience with Max and I've actually been trying to train my poodle as well! Not the type of awesome tricks Max can do though 🤣
