As a veteran, I believed her even before I saw the entire video. Taxpayers should be outraged by the things that get swept under the rug by the VA. This Atlanta VA needs a major overhaul of senior leadership if the veterans are to get the help they deserve. I’m sure this unprofessionalism is one of many things taking place there.

You deserve to be directly hired by the VA or any other federal agency. The Air Force needs to increase pensions to improve compensation. My parents are so proud of you! I have had great interactions with doctors and staff at the VA hospital. Security? Not so much. Their behavior ranges from unfriendly to hostile. They RARELY encounter problems. They do not need to treat 99% of the people they encounter like potential threats but they do. Yes, there are some incidents where hostile individuals with mental health conditions cause problems but for every one of those incidents there are 100's of average people just going in for simple tests and treatments. They treat each other completely different than they treat veterans at the hospitals though. I believe this woman. They hire the most toxic people on earth.

Why is a private company allowed on Federal Grounds? Those facilities are supposed to be staffed with Federal Officers, not mall cops

Real question is; why would a hospital need a police force?

The VA needs to have a major overhaul and VA police and security services. To be honest, all Federal Government security services need to be stabilized. The VA needs to start holding themselves accountable and responsible for doing the best for our veterans, housed or unhoused. They need to ensure they’re all taken care of.

The EEOC IS NOT WHAT IT COULD PEOPLE 😕. THEY DiD absolutely nothing when I filed a complaint about a termination and I served 20 years in the Army. "He stated I was over qualified ".

They need to change the law and/or policy on suspension. There should be no pay. That way more officers could be hired. Only if the accused is found not guilty they should receive backpay and get their job back.

As a veteran who uses the VA i can tell you this is more of norm than the exception for how the VA operates. Just like so many other jobs they are defended by the system. Veterans are removed from the VA and denied access for far less, but their employees are allowed to run rampant.

I was just terminated from my position at Veterans Benefit Administration right across the street at 1700 Clairmont Rd Decatur Georgia. I was discriminated against because of my medical disability, bullied and constantly harassed by supervisors. I continued reporting the behaviors and notified the AFGE President and other Union members of what was happening to me. nobody did anything to protect me and the VS Service Center Manager terminated me from my job on 05-29-2024 due to conduct. I have never had conduct issues, never been written up for my conduct at all. Throughout the entire duration of my almost 12 month employment "I have never ever had a conversation the VS SC Manager but she ordered me to be terminated and trying to falsify my termination to make it seem as if I resigned from my job!!! This just happened across the walk way from Atlanta VA Medical Center at Veteran Affairs. I am will to give my story and tell their names @Randy Travis
