I ordered a kitchen towel a few weeks ago from Temu and received a shower curtain with a snail printed on it.

Never bought clothes but sewing supplies, so I have been happy with Temu. Low prices on clothes equal low quality. Not sure why people don’t get that.

I actually love temu and I’ve never been scammed or gotten shitty products… but I also check reviews and especially reviews with pics… also am very skeptical about clothing. But when it comes to household items, decor, gadgets and toys, kitchen stuff, and what I mostly use it for which is nail stuff… it’s a gold mine.

@@chelsearenard9081 I never ordered so can't say anything personally. But you get what you pay for I guess. When it comes to house hold items: isn't there lead in them? I read that but not sure if it's true

@@wonderland1911 i doubt it, not everything can have lead in it! But I also hear Stanley cups have lead in them and those cups are expensive asf so I feel like regardless what u are spending just be aware of what u are buying I guess! I originally thought Temu was gonna be another Wish but it’s nothing like it… shipping is normal time not MONTHS like wish and the quality is WAY better and in most scenarios you get what you expected to get. Any time I need something random like ice cube trays or colored pencils, etc.. oftentimes Amazon and Temu will have the exact same item but it’s cheaper on Temu.

I do the same thing where I buy a bunch of stuff, some things end up being so crappy that the slightly less crappy stuff gets a pass cause I’m excited something actually kindof looked like the listing 😭😭

If you look closely at the pic of the cream long sleeve you can see the neckline has been photoshopped the lines at the v part of the neckline are warped!

It’s probably photoshopped bc it probably has options for different colors so they just photoshop the color of the neckline to whatever color the shopper chooses. I noticed that’s usually the case when there are different color options for things.. it’s the same pic with the color just photoshopped on

@@DaniLore that would have been pre-edited pre original post. It's probably edited adjusted to the chest line design for the temu product.

On Temu there’s hidden reviews, only certain ones show under the item. If you click on the review it’ll take to to another page and more will come up x

Glad you understand, cheap item = not great item. I get so annoy at some fo the art supply video compaining about how bad the item are. Like it $1 marker, what did you expect? lol A $5 top isn;t gonna be great but very wearable.

Hmmm…it is said that you should buy high-quality and ethically produced clothes. I live in Finland and here all such clothes look really ugly. And they are really expensive(like gray basic tunic would cost 90e) If you want something different and cute, then I order from shein. Although I know that the quality is not necessarily good, but the price is reasonable and the garment is something that pleases the eye. Disappointed a few times, but here you can recycle old clothes.

Why would you do this though? With all the issues in the world today with plastics and trash and mountains of clothes dumped in landfills in developing countries, you basically make it an amusement acitvity to purposefully purchase trash that you will then dump? Also trash produced in the worst possible, least sustainable way. At least order 5 star review items only so that there was at least a chance you wouldn't just throw these things away.
