No. I didn't ask myself if Tyler bakes cakes. When you didn't know that icing doesn't come in a cake mix box I began to doubt you've ever been in a kitchen.
To be fair, it often does, but if it does it says so on the box. I have three cake mixes in my baking cabinet that come with frosting, and four that don't
When I saw Tyler with the cake mix and he said he thought icing came in the box, I said to myself "not only does Tyler not bake, but he probably never even saw cake mix.
@@rorybaker5799 Coke cola and a toothbrush help remove the corrosion. Right after you need to spray WD40, B'laster - PB-TS - Penetrating Catalyst, or even wipe it with oil will help stop the corrosion from returning.
Tyler won't wait 10 minutes to try and jump a completely dead battery (or clean the freakin' terminals) but he'll give an electric blanket 45 minutes to get toasty
I noticed that corrosion and was like, "Ehh... is this even gonna work at all?" Haha. Wish he would have tested it on a different battery to show it if actually worked or not - just for the sake of giving it a fair shake test - but not everyone has a battery that needs a jump just laying around so, I get it.
I’m a truck driver and have the electric lunchbox. I highly recommend it. The longer you have it on, the hotter it gets. I absolutely love it. As for the battery jumper, you have to have the battery terminals clean.
@@ShockingPikachu I have a name-brand one, and from my experiences so far, the two best ways to use it are: (1) Let it sit connected to the battery for a minute or so to give the battery a little bit of charge before trying to start and/or (2) Pressing a "safety override" button to let the booster put out more current, closer to the limit of what its electronics can handle. The caveat with the override button is that you can probably destroy the booster if you're not careful - e.g., trying to boost a muscle car or large pickup with a booster meant for smaller engines.
Lol as a truck driver this is old news!!! Iv made so many mixed up matches in a lunch box warmer! Then I upgraded to a inverter and bought a microwave and fridge!! But for the first year was fun exploring my wild ideas like this! I did make chocolate chip cookies in one. Great Video my man!!
As the daughter of mechanic, I was literally jump-scared by the corrosion on those battery terminals! The best jumpbox in the world couldn't get through all that! I'm starting to think everyone in the comments are right about the trolling theory, lol.
@@will400r In all honesty, my brain could never come up with the things that Tyler does 😂 I’d come up with something like cooking on his cars engine or trying to cook something in the dishwasher or tumble dryer 🤣
Campbell's Soup: "Gee, could have easily put two cans in there". Yes you should. Look at the directions on the can. You are supposed to dump the contents of the can into a pan/bowl, then fill the empty can with water and add that to the soup. Hence the name "condensed soup".
The condensed version tastes Far better than the watered down version. Tried the watered down version several times throughout my life and it never came Close to tasting as good as the straight from the can condensed soup.
@@7-ten That depends on the icing though, those satin icings used by many stores are a whole bunch of chemicals that can't be really achieved without them. Just look up satin icing recipes, they either tell you the absurd stuff needed to make them, or direct you to buttercream recipes, which is what you mentioned. Satin icing is a nightmare to make.
13:11 how hot do you want the blanket? If you had this on you in a car at 76 degrees you’d be nice and comfy. You don’t want it too hot or you could get burned. 17:15 love how he sticks his finger in liquid that’s heating up then uses a thermometer.
I bought a similar heated blanket with high and low settings on it while it was on sale for around $15. Works great as a cheap heated seat if you put it under a seat cover.
After watching project farm every Sunday for the past two years ive learned from him when he test cheap battery boosters you have to bring the battery to a curtain voltage to actually make it work. (Kinda have to jump the battery before use kind of thing).. so thats why it didn't start your car because voltage was to low. A good battery jumper will do it on a complete dead battery and those are the jumpers you want.👌😎😁
Batteries can freeze if they are less than halfway dead... both batteries froze in our Doosan trackhoe at work... we're in Colorado where it gets like 7 every night this time of year. Love you Tyler!! 🖤🖤🖤
disconnect the battery from the leads and connect the starter to the leads and try to start the car. the dead battery would be sapping all of the jump starters power to recharge itself.
19:05 based on the fact that you literally thought there was icing in the box that has never had icing in it for the many many many decades that boxed cake mixes have existed. I can guarantee you with absolutely 100% certainty, there is not a single person here or anywhere that ever thought this.
Definitely the first person I've ever seen that thought the icing came in the cake mix box 😂 when you walked into the store and up too the isle that had the cake mix boxes you didn't see those plastic containers of different flavor icing right next too the cake mix boxes?
Any blanket is gonna keep you warm. Its like a coat for your legs...traps your body heat. I have a normal throw blanket in my car for when temps are dipping below zero. Works a charm!
3:24 I believe the relay click, because it wasn't able to make a full connection (due to your terminal being cake with corrosion) creating a circuit failure. Tyler I believe in you man, you can do this.
I think the blanket takes advantage of the human warmth and you wrap it around your seat or you sit on it or you put it on. It'll feel good in a cold climate.
My heat went out in my truck a few years ago. I actually used the same blanket to keep me warm. It don’t seem like much but when it’s 20 degrees outside it makes a big difference lol
I took one look at that battery and said to myself there's nothing in this world that will start that shit up. Not even a nuclear power plant. Like damn there's a battery in your corrosion lol
for anyone seeing that hand flashing sign and being tempted, let me just remind you: there's always a bigger fish, and there's ALWAYS someone out there who gives fewer F's than you about ruining their life for a fight
Dude, electric car blankets are the shit. When it's 12* outside and you don't have heated seats, they're a life saver. Run outside to let the car warm up and drape that sucker over the seat. You can even put them on the dash to help defrost the window. I freaking love mine and when I see them on clearance, I get a couple. I've given them as gifts more than once. To those of us stuck driving used older model cars, they freaking rock.
The amperage comes from forcing the same 12v through a more resistant wire aka much much smaller awg same principle as an aircraft propeller de-icer boot
Hey man, just discovered your channel today, but I’m gonna subscribe right now. It seems to me like you’re an honest, funny dude. you’ve got a knack for making things I’m not interested in, interesting. Also I definitely wasn’t wondering, “are you a baker?” I could tell by how you were surprised a boxed cake mix didn’t include icing lol. But yeah anyway, awesome channel dude, I appreciate all the work you put into it
Good thing i stuck around until the end and heard that he bamboozled us with the cake part. I really thought "wow, this guy has apparently never eaten cake before and thinks batter pudding is cake" for a second there lol
I don't think anyone is mistaken that you know how to bake cakes. Particularly after seeing the avocado oil and hearing you question why the box of cake mix didn't come with frosting.
Well any returning viewer knows that Tyler does not know anything in general :) I wonder if Tyler knows this... or he does not know this either? And not knowing that you do not know but you still do it, do everything... Tyler presents us with a bunch of logical and philosophical questions for sure!
I believe you need to leave the pack on the battery to give at least a little charge before starting the car, 5-10 mins on a dead battery should be more than enough and that's if the battery isn't completely gone or terminals not fully corroded.
I was on the interstate in Arkansas and a woman passed me with a printed sign held up to her driver's side window that said "MOVE OVER" lmao! How mad would someone have to be to be at home or their work and type and print out all these different signs and have em in a folder next to the seat... like wtf!! 🖤🖤🖤
Tyler, we knew you didn't know how to make cakes, when you thought the frosting was included in the box, bro! 🤣🤣🤣 ...you didn't have to tell us. Lol! Sik
Hey Tyler, when those booster packs work..... they deplete...... in this video I didn't see a drop below 100% maybe try giving those Clamp a nice little wiggle..... to ensure you have a better electrical connection at the battery, because mine works GREAT!
ppl keep commenting about how tyler didn’t know icing comes separately but am i the only one appalled by him using avocado oil??? and saying it’s basically the same???
I think the thing that most people love you for is that thing that infuriates me the most… all these products come with a little boom that belongs to a spainish bloke called Manual , use them
when he was opening one of the boxes he said he couldn't read it because the font was too small. so my guess is he needs glasses and doesn't wear them so he can't read most instructions
Also usually if there is that much corrosion on the battery terminals the water level in the battery cells would most likely be low. It's also possible that the starter motor is bad. From what I herd when he tried to start the car was the classic starter motor clicking on then off so either the battery was very drained, there was so much corrosion on the battery terminals not allowing even a little bit of a connection, or it's the starter motor relay. Usually when a battery is dead and you go to start the car the starter would still try to crank the motor over but would be very slow and sound like it's struggling to crank over the motor. Then if the battery is so drained it won't even try to crank over the motor then your not going to hear the starter motor click.
6 degrees on top of being covered up by that blanket would actually be a decent difference for sure, you change my thermostat by 5 or 6 degrees in either direction, it's deff a big jump lol
the best way to use the heated blanket is to put it between other blankets to trap the heat in. It will keep you hot if you do it that way. At least mine does. The last time I used it was when I had a fever and had the chills. It made me very hot while I was under it.
