playing bonelab was like playing gmod for the first time again

Really shows how creative you can get in this game, if you just use your head

We need multiplayer badly man, it’s kind of boring being in a sandbox by myself I feel. The ONE thing bone lab needed.

About the power puncher: It now has different charge states that vary how much force is put into the punch and is affected by how long you hold down the trigger. You can see how much force has been built up by checking the little screen on the side of the puncher while holding down trigger

The Nimbus was done first as the Airblast in the mod Unreal4Ever, back in 2000. Flying was it's Alt-Fire. In normal fire, it operated like the Power Fists, blowing away anything in front of the player. The whole thing was designed to look like a Spitfire's engine molded into a gun. The mod won Grand Prize in the first "Make Something Unreal" contest, back in 2000. Strangely then whole contest has been expunged from the Wikipedia page on the contest. Unreal4Ever also won Best Mutator in the 2003 contest. Many of the weapons in several releases of Unreal Tournament as well as Gears of War were based off weapons from that massive mod. *Might* be the reason Epic has tried to bury it's existence. :p

Dude the wolverine claw thing you did reminds me of what we thought it'd be like to use the mantis blades in cyberpunk before they completely ruin the mantis blades on release of the game lol. The wolverine claws thing is such a cool idea btw. Seems like it would make you feel like an absolute bad ass.

When you used the weld tool on the gokart to add swords, that just proves that even with just 3 items you can make so many fun yet simple things!

One thing I wish the null body avatar had is the thing where a circle appears when you punch it

The Physics interactions in this game are on point one time I needed to block bullets with a garbage can lid but I needed to reload my weapon so I push the garbage can lid against a slanted object and it stayed there and I could reload my weapon while it was pushing against the garbage can lid it was fucking amazing

I haven’t messed with the game much after I beat it. Thank you for showing me new things to try. I didn’t realize this game was that open.

I've been playing the standalone version, I didn't realize how different the graphics are, but seeing this they look stunning compared to the quest graphics, still incredible they got the game to run on quest at all.

With the car mods, you can also attach guns to them, to shoot while driving. But its EXTREMELY hard and requires skill.

This makes me want to play the game even more! I think I might use the weld and nimbus guns to build a rocket ship with npcs on it

6:15 if you stick both of them together and let go of one of the gravity cups, you can actually use it as a melee weapon! I tried it out before, it worked really well! Edit: You can also use the constrainer plus both of the gravity cups, so that you can't lose both of the gravity cups, and it also makes a great weapon! Make the constrainer on the first setting.

attaching swords to the go kart was the first thing I tried as soon as I unlocked the constrain gun, I remember doing that in Garry's mod for hours and hours and it was waaaaay more fun in vr lol

The gravity plate reminds me of one of those niche nickelodeon sitcon style shows, cuz in henry danger one of the gadgets used in one episode was straight up the gravity plate (the obvious difference being the appearance)

You can actually jump around if you hit your wrist with the power puncher at a certain angle in combination with a jump The arm makes you take least damage but needs practice and trial and error to pull off The chest takes more damage but lets you control where you get flung to more easily And the face takes the most damage but has most control for where you go since it’s far easier to hit it from all sides

Bonelab has the best replay ability I’ve ever seen

the only thing i want in bonelab is realistic sword physics, they feel kind of... weird but pretty much anything you wish to build can be built with replacement tools if you don't have the right tools for the right job, it's what makes bonelab fucking awesome

The first thing I did with the constrainer, was trying use a fireman axe as Kratos' Leviathan Axe by linking it at just the right range, so I could always pull it back after throwing it.

I tried to make a mantis blade from cyberpunk and it work in bonelab of course

The Gravity Cups are so fun to use especially cause you can bring them with you on the campaign also I didn’t even know that the Gravity Cups do that!

I love using the contrainer for chaos

I just realised you could weld the wolverine claws weapons to your arms allowing you to stab people with the actual wolverine claws and hold weapons. You could probably also retract them but you’d have to use your other hand to retract claw

Theres so many things about these tools that I missed, that ball socket will make for a great mounted gun.

Hey, for the nimbus gun section, whenever you got the keycard and found the secret, there was a compartment on the side of the invisible door, where you could stick the keycard in and unlock it

Now to make a house with the board gun and recreate the movie "Up" with the toy balloon gun except Carl now has a gun instead of a cane

I just use the constrainer gun's default feature to link Ford's legs together, them legs to arms, arms together, and arms to head, essentially making him a puppet. Then I attack him with a shot to the foot, and the rest you get to see for yourself.

I use gravity plates as stairs if you spam them down and use the tall guy to put them on walls

I do the Dev manipulator thing and halfway park using a wall, one of the borders from Monagon motorway

If they had more materials to the board gun that would be fun, tho you can still use basic objects and weld them together to build invincible bridges but that s more limiting

ford may have achieved immortality, but in turn he lives through every ford clone you spawn and torment

If you get a gravity plat place it on any item and then remove it with the spawn gun like not physically romove but delete it with the spawn gun then that object becomes anti gravity

The board gun was very useful in boneworks because you would get it before the nimbus gun and you would use the board gun to get out of the map

All i think when i see bonelab is boneworks,half life,gmod and all of them together makes bonelab and all of those games aside from boneworks so half life and gmod are a big big part of my childhood and i am very thankful for stress level zero making my childhood come back in one big vr game

Not that I spent too much time on it, as I'm more of a player than a builder (so far), but the Constrainer settings didn't seem all that different to me and the digital symbols didn't help much at all (I used it to hold open a door so I could take back a battery I never used). Short story long (sorry), I completely didn't notice the list on the side of the device!!! Side note: I have no idea what to do in the museum basement. I opened the locked room and read that I need to use the pallet jack to bring "something" to an elevator. Unfortunately, I had no idea what that was, and when I accidentally closed the garage door behind me after looping around (and realized it wouldn't re-open), I said "screw it," and did something different.

the funnest thing to do with the board gun is load up tuscany open all windows and board them and the entrances up then spawn null bodies and see how long you can survive

The power puncher can also quite literally delete skeletons
