Italian game is described in one of the books as (citation): "You must play Italian game for at least a short time, because it learns beauty of the strategy, allows to understand the importance of the center and harmonious development of the pieces." That book about chess-openings was released in year 2004.
Italian is great for beginner. I learned how to play chess in June (5-6 weeks ago) and I only play Italian as white and kings Indian as black (most time) and am up to 900 already and would probably be around 1300 if I had enough time to play more.
Literally bro, isnt that so annoying, when you watch these 1000s play against youtubers and they make very obvious blunders, when we play the play like magnus, theres no way they play like that
It's the applied pressure. I have like 85 percent accuracy when I play worse opponents and 70 and even worse when I play better opponents. Also if you don't know an opening, you will never "figure it out" on the spot so you will make a mistake or blunder.
Well, the Italian is interesting because, yes, every beginner plays it, but so do the best players in the world. It's one of the richest openings, but also one of the most principled.
The London can win quicker, but it easier to shut down and make passive. The Italian game can transpose into so many others (even into a stonewall or london) and evans gambit or even ruy lopez, 4 knights etc that its much harder for people to prepare against it. Look back in Gata Kamsky who played for world title, he could not win word championship with London.
Hey allesia mam... You make us very good in WHITE but while playing with Black Peaces we are not too much confident as white .... Can you make video more to play with Black Peaces
I've always thought i would love the Italian but have never studied it, it is one of the openings that i really hope to add to my repertoire soon, "wink wink".
Italian game is so beautiful and fun to play, but the london surprised me in this video... thought it was much more boring, but maybe just when the opponents really know what to do against it. Would appreciate your take on the french, i want to start playing it and you really know how to explain the concepts of the openings and relating them to the general principles, which imo is not easy to do so clearly!
You are awesome, I think you should REALLY emphasize the bishop in the final checkmate…most beginners won’t even see the Queen checkmate in game1. As you have said in other videos bishops are a blindspot for beginners both for attacks and defense. Thank you for your tutorials they are the absolute best!
Alessia: - Has a new concept idea: duel of openings - Wants to prove that the italian is better than the london The video : London is way too strong 😂😂 Btw I love that concept, you should do that with many openings, how to face e4, same for d4, maybe even some gambits with both colors Love the content as always !!!
Try black 2 most obvious response to Italian, then try Queens gambit x another white with D4, then try 2 most obvious response with black to D4! There, your next 3 videos I will love.to watch. This comparison idea is great.
When I started many decades ago my Russian coach had me start with the Italian for White. He told me to play my opening for a year before I changed openings. I’m glad I learned the Italian first because it really taught me to pay attention to sharp games. I like the Colle better than London. Would you please compare a couple of black openings against e4 and d4. Thank you ! 🩷
Kings Indian Attack vs English Opening would be great. KIA gets so little love these days... It's all KID KID KID... where's the KIA's day in the sun?? :D Thanks for all your content. Really comfortable channel to watch!
alessia i am improving my chess but very slowly what should i do i dont know many openings how to think many steps forward in chess i dont know please help
My personal preference is never to play e3 if I developed my knight on f3, without playing h3 first. I don’t want to trade my dark bishop for the knight.
I think the Italian is better and I love it, but it doesn’t come up every game. U can do the london in every game so it’s reliable, but not fun like the Italian.
Could you make a video for people around the 500 elo mark, I've been trying to learn the queens gambit/scotch for white and the kings indian/caro kahn with black
ehm 500? is it possible to have such a low rating? i mean even if you know the rules of chess, then youre should be better than 500. Kind regards from a bad player (700)
Just focus on learning tactics and stick to one opening for each color. Tactics should get you up a few 100 elo. I speak as a former 500 elo and steadily climbing (approaching 1000).
@@ForestG Yes! According to my research, tactics and analysing games should be the main thing to do until about 1600. Then openings and strategy and endgames become more important.
Probabilmente il fatto che giochi cosí velocemente lí fa andare fuori di testa e pensano di dover giocare veloce anche loro ... Perche tutti sti blunder a tutti I livelli è un pó too much... Cioe cosí tanto spesso ... Non giocavano quasi nessuna buona mossa 😅
