Coming from a fellow Green Hell player, do not feel guilty about screaming because of the jaguar. I have played for some time now and I still get the crap scared out of me every time the forest goes quiet, and you hear that menacing growl coming from the bushes, right before it pounces. Really gets the adrenaline pumping.
I would love to see you and John play Project Zomboid. Learning the game without mods and then adding or downloading a workshop collection after you both get the hang of it.
I would love to see him so this to especially cause PZ is my favorite zombie game on the market. I hope someone makes a game exactly like it but a fp type game with good graphics that isn’t laggy but that’s kinda hard
Lovely video, George! SCUM has so much promise, but worrying about health to that extent is such a chore. Surviving the landscape, the zeds, animals, and Mechs is enough. Really. Driving is a blast.
I've never seen SCUM before, but the first thing I would want to do is mod out the visibility of all of that. I love that it's there, but I don't love that you can see numbers. Should just hide it and make the player use common sense.
100% need to play more 7 days..... It's so good when you learn how to play it. Best crafting/shooting/survival game ever! Everything is destructive and there are so many things you can get ill or die from!there are buffs and loads of other effects off food and drugs etc. There's a lot to learn, just like dayz. It's definitely worth the time! In my opinion, the best zombie survival game to date. Dayz is a close 2nd. Love you guys!keep up the good work x
I played 7 Days to Die shortly after it went on Steam. The voxel world was neat, but everything was so jank. It is a totally different game now. My son asked me to play, and I was hesitant having played it years ago. However, I was surprised how far it has come since the early days. My son and I had a ton of fun playing it.

Cant feel serious about Green Hell being 'most brutal survival game' after you had like 5 fist fights vs a jaguar and it felt fine. Try STALKER GAMMA where even a most common dog is much more dangerous than that. Anyone checking Project Zomboid might wanna check the game that inspired it - Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, that one is free and is probably the most updated game out there, very hard game - peak of the genre. Stay Out is a very solid STALKER Online kind of game, super grindy though
Tbf this is absolutely not what green hell real gameplay looks like.. this feels so wrong and heavily edited.. if you have the chance, go and launch a solo story mode of green hell without looking at any guides.. you’ll probably die day one or the first night if you are lucky.
I have about 5k hours into Stay Out. Its an incredibly difficult and slow progression game. But its really really good. Dying inside the tutorial area is kind of impressive hahaha. You should play through and do the quests through Lesnya Station and Liubech.
More green hell please!! You and John would be hilarious on that. Fisk has experience there, that would be a fire video. You helped him in dayZ, he can help you in there
Dual survival with cody lundee and dave is my favorite survival show. A few other good ones are survivorman with les stroud, man vs wild with bear gills and man woman wild if u want a good laugh 😂
7 Days to die, I've poured almost 1k hours into it since Alpha 19, it can be quite hard at the beginning but once you start understanding it, it's rather easy and simple. Also that craft bedroll is a short tutorial, completing it gives 4 free skill points, it also teaches you how to make a weapon like club and axe for harvesting stuff
7 days to die is just the best zombie game out there. Even now I'd get myself into bad situations every now and then despite playing on cheated mods that make my character much stronger.

That guy in DayZ definitely combat logged but came back in uncon. The first time he is in the room was right as you asked if John's honey was gone in the super far right of the screen.
DayZ is a great zombie survival game and I love it, BUT while difficult, it is possible to set yourself up to survive for months at a time. Project Zomboid takes the genre to the next level where it's set up for you to fail. You're supposed to fail. The whole story plot of it is that "this is how you died". It's a cool take on a sandbox story being told in the past with just a little loading screen. You can't beat it. You can't survive. Even if you can make it into a few years past, the resources become scarce to the point that you can't sustain yourself. In the end, the most common cause of death is one simple mistake. I love DayZ, but I think PZ is the best zombie survival game.
Ah yes, 7dtd, a game that forces you to go into stuff unprepared, has ridiculously confusing mechanics that change every big update and tends to go from 0 to 100 in a second
Def recommend giving Stay Out more of a try, at least outside the tutorial zone lol. I have over 250 hours playing solo, it has some jank but some charm too, ive always likened it similar to a Dayz MMORPG (and of course stalker mmorpg)
Minecraft?I know. But the Creeper jumpscare is life changing. And the environmental characters sneak up on you whenever you turn your back or let your guard down.
In terms of survival shows, Les shroud is the dude, just came and some cameras out in the middle of my knows where And as far as I can remember, he's only ever called off one survival thing when he was in the middle of the ocean
Those Green Hell settings must be nerfed completely. I played that game for years and theres no way you should be lasting that long against tribals and jaguars unarmed. Your health bar doesnt even move when they hit you.
Yeah dayZ is still the best, most intense and authentic survival, I'm from Czech Republic so it's meta for me😂 great run btw, always incredible what you experience, never the same😎
Survivor Shows ? "Alone" has to be the best and most realistic "Survival" show out there in my opinion! Also just wanted to say, this small compilation of multiple survival games is super cool! I might get a few of those myself now. I've been playing DayZ for a week now and I'm loving it (official servers)
7 days to die is awesome but you wanna do the tutorial in the top right first to get to grips with the crafting before going into poi's, it will teach you how to make a club and it will be significantly easier to kill zombies and drain less stamina than punching.
Would love to see more project zomboid! Especially some vanilla singleplayer. Project zomboid is all about learning from your mistakes, wich means dying, alot.
i would love to see you and john play a 7 days to die series, there are traders in the game who can give you tasks to complete and they get tougher and tougher
Stay out is a really in depth game, but getting out of lesnya station is hard first time playing, but after you get past the first maps there is an in depth rpg game I would say rather then a survival game, more of a Stalker inspired game then anything
I've spent 1000s of hours in different survival games, green hell is definitely the hardest one. so much so that i beat it once and never went back lol
If you end up doing a followup here's great suggestions! The Forest / Sons of the Forest (surprised it wasn't in the video!) Will to Live Online, Stalcraft, would Conan Exiles and Rust also count?

Im just glad no one saw my first life on dayz.... Or my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc etc lol Ive never died so fast, or so pityfully, on any game, in the history of gaming!!
