As a PhD in biochemistry I'm still just very confused by the molecular interaction they claim. Bond builders are easy to understand, the disulphide bond is a weak interaction which can actually be "fixed" by external treatment, but repairing a rupture in an actual covalent bond without a chemical reaction just by supporting it with a peptide? No enzyme? I don't know.. I need some more clarification! Not saying that it doesn't work or anything I just think what they claim it does is a bit far fetched...
I might imagine it as thiols on each end, or many thiols scattered on the peptide. I think the peptide makes it flexible to fill larger gaps. I have no clue though, my degree is in pharm sci
@@DenisonLove that would’ve been my suspicion as well, that it’s not repairing the existing bond but rather bonding to fill in the gap, i.e. they’ve figured out what damage looks like on a molecular level and have formulated a specific blend of short chain peptides with specific ends to create a chemical bond in an exothermic reaction as water evaporates
@@TheBaumcm Based on what you've postulated, would it make more sense to blow dry hair afterwards as opposed to air drying? Or perhaps the results are the same regardless, but blow drying would simply excelerate the reaction (and maybe lead to more even results?).
I like that you compared it with olaplex and thank you for being honest about their ads and branding. This is really informative Mell. Amanda has done a great job editing it❤️

Olaplex is a hair bonder reconstructor and K18 is a protein treatment. (I heard her say it’s not a protein treatment however the staff at Salon Centric said it is. So now I’m confused.)
It’s $89 here in Canada 😭 but I bought it anyways. In the mini size first ofc ($36). I will be offended if it doesn’t work near-miracles for that price.
@@GirlXO Make sure you clarify your hair before you use it. Maybe clarify twice before you use it just so there isn’t any buildup on the hair. I use Malibu C Undo Goo in the salon when I clarify clients and highly recommend it. ☺️
Love k18. Trick is to leave it on before trying to detangle. Then after you wait the 4 mins you can hop back in the shower and rewet Inorder to condition if needed. This came directly from the company.
I still feel like people don’t get what it’s actually doing😅 it won’t be as conditioning as a classic hair mask. It’s repairing the inside of the hair. If you don’t have broken bonds/damaged hair then you won’t notice any results. I think k18 it’s a good way to maintain the quality of the hair if you’re trying to grow it out for example!
I used k-18 mask 4-5 times every time I washed in the course of like 1 1/2 months and my damaged hair completely became healthy!! I am amazed!! My curls are not straight anymore they’re bouncy soft and defined. I have some tips tho. If you have curly hair you need to use conditioner and oil after you use the mask.. I know it says not too but you have too!! Follow your natural routine and let hair air dry, implement hot oil treatments before you shampoo for extra hydration ❤❤ good luck
HAHAHAHA I’m living for the unexpected shade at brad mondo 💀💀💀 The guy who thought it was unrealistic that curlies walk around with wet hair really tried and failed to come for you 😩
Can you do a video on different heat protectors. In particular highlighting a styling product we are likely to use that also provides heat protection. Thanks. Great video. X
note to self shower and shampoo/clarify towel dry hair til damp apply one pump of k18 for each side of your hair. emulsify and warm all over hands and massage into hair wait 4 minutes, then comb out apply any leave in products desired for the first 6 consecutive washes, use the product back to back. after that, decrease frequency to every 3-4 washes.
I've been using Olaplex for several years and bit the bullet on K18. I haven't ever felt such a difference in my hair as I did after using k18 for the recommend 4-6 washes. I get highlights and was used to having the ends of my hair feel rough and dry and also would get breakage, but not after k18. I still use Olaplex from time to time, mostly bc I have a stockpile, but if I had to choose one it would be the K18. It is expensive, but it's just one product, whereas I have all the at-home Olaplex products and they really add up. I am sure we will see K18 adding to their product lineup as well, but the results on my hair with just the 4 minute mask speak for themselves.
Wow your straightened hair looked bomb!! Which heat protectant did your use after the K18 and before flat ironing? And did you use the K18 leave in mask or the professional spray before the flat iron?

This review is fantastic! I have to say I’ve used it 5-6 times now and It blew olaplex 3 away for me. My curls are amazing with it. I have noticed the 2 times my hair was still too wet rather than towel dry/damp the results are not as good. I think it got diluted too much then.
I discovered K18 about six months ago (before any hype.) I've been coloring my hair with box dye for years. (I know...I know) transitioning from black to dark brown to cover my gray. I absolutely love K18! I can see a difference - my curls are more defined and less frizzy. I did years of damage and since I discovered this channel I've also started using Curlsmith Bonding curl salve. Between these two products, my hair has vastly improved. It feels smoother and it's stronger. Also never used to use a clarifying shampoo before...also makes a world of difference. I (and my hair) thank you Mell, for these "curl school" valuable lessons.
So does this work for reversing heat damaged curls or no 😩 I didn’t hear you mention heat damage specifically & that’s what I needed to know if it works for 😩
I have natural level 4 curly hair (3A) and have bleaching it to platinum for fashion colors which stretched my hair out a lot to the point where people were calling it wavy. Using K18 has made my hair consistently 2C-3A (not back to my original texture but pretty close!) To be FAIRRRR I think I was weighing my hair down with conditioning products before, and with K18 I am clarifying my hair twice with the Kinky curly come clean shampoo, adding K18 and waiting like 10 minutes, then I add olaplex No. 7, LA styles gel, and diffuse. So I am not using any other leave in creams and I think a lot of my hair bouncing back up is partially due to that. I am very pleased with the product overall though, and in some way I am not spending thaaaaaat much more money in the long term because I am cutting out leave in conditioners and also not using nearly as much in shower conditioning masks.
Didnt do anything for me. My hair is too dry when I clarify, and not being able to use conditioner after just makes it a nightmare because I also can't detangle without conditioner. I contacted customer service and they said I was using too much and I should only use 2 pumps. There's no way..I have thick curly hair to my mid back. Anyways they say money back guarantee but really make it a headache. Still haven't gotten a refund.
I just did my 6th consecutive wash day with K18. I have coily type 4 hair and I decided to try it because I have a few heat damaged strands after my last silk press. I was a little concerned because afro textured hair thrives on moisture and I didn't know how I would survive without deep conditioning for 6 weeks, but I was pleasantly surprised. My hair stayed moisturized each week about the same, if not better than, when I deep condition and use leave-in. Detangling is so much easier. I have less single strand knots. I lose les hair when detangling. My hair feels amazing. I would detangle and pre-poo with a leave-in conditioner before washing my hair. Then use my K18 and let it sit. Then I would follow up with a styling cream and oil. That's it. I would use a spray leave in to refresh my hair sometimes during the week, but I didn't feel like my hair needed it. Unfortunately, it didn't do much for the heat damage. Some of the strands are curling up a bit more, but not like it should be. But I have no regrets because my hair is so much easier to manage now.
Polypeptide is the general name we give to any chain formed by aminoacids. The chain can be classified as a peptide or protein, depending on the number of aminoacids present in it. So, this 3:52 image is not correct.
Idk i think the image is sufficient for primary understanding. I dont say its accurate but its good enough. Because theres alpha, beta and globulin. Different kinds and stage of and proteins
My hair is a lot like yours before I relaxed it, I really didn’t know how to take care of my hair and when I would talk to a salon after a cut, they are not helpful and sold me useless products. I’m 33 and have never been happy with my hair. K18 was the first product I used that made me cry, I have never been able to put my hair down without it looking crazy and dry! It’s day two of me wearing my hair down and people might not understand but I’ve been wearing a bun for years and I’m starting to thin in areas because my hair is being pulled constantly. K18 really changed my life and I finally have silky soft hair that moves and bounces! I still have a lot to heal so I’m excited for my next wash, but if I don’t get better results I will still be very happy that I can have my hair down
Olaplex 3 y 8 SAVED my hair.. I just repurchased them, since i haven't used them since a few months ago.. My hair is way healthier, ill say u to 90% recovered. I feel like purchasing K18 is overkill :/
Mel, is your natural hair BLACK? These roots are huge i can almost imagine you with a full head of black hair! Would you ever try?!?! Italian girl i recognize you now!!!!!!
Summary: - use it on your first 6 consecutive washes on damp hair, don’t use anything other than shampoo before applying, then use it as often as you need (could be once a month even) - apply 1 to 4 pumps depending on density and length, rub it your hands to emulsify and apply - don’t touch you hair at all for 4min - apply the other products after as needed (thermal protection/spf/etc) - before coloring or bleaching you can use the K18 hair mist (apply generously)
Same! My hair is fine and silky soft. But as soon as it's wet I can't do anything with it. EVERY hairdresser i have been to complains about how awful my hair is once it's wet 🤣. Upon arrival the comment on how lovely it feels, water swiftly makes them hate my hair. Haha.
K18 is my holy grail product. If I could only use one repair AND leave in conditioning product, this is it. My hair is colored, highlighted, wavy/ curly 2a/b/c, medium, coarse and some fine hair. I love the fact that I just shampoo/ clarify and then use K18, that’s so super easy. After 4 mins I start layering my styling products. I am hooked for life. I think even if I go naturally grey I will still use it…
Hey Mel, I’m a “curl friend” who has used K18 many times. I definitely appreciate a beautiful difference in frizz and shine after using it as directed. I am still coloring my hair to help blend my silvers, (ain’t booked that young Jack Martin appointment yet! 😂), so K18 stays in my rotation. I love the simplicity of using it AFTER my shower, versus Olaplex which I had to leave in and then wait before showering. I still use my Olaplex No. 7, though. Love your channel, Mel! 😘
I bought K18. I like it. It gives my hair a feeling of strength I haven't notice with other treatments. I haven't found it necessary to use another conditioner when I use it. I've used Olaplex and Curlsmith.
Thanks so much for this! I've been debating purchasing since I'm a product junkie lol. But I don't need it. I don't color or straighten my curls. I get regular trims. I use olaplex occasionally & love the results, & also love aveda's botanical repair leave in treatment (which uses the same bond builders as curl smiths bond rehab salve💜)! Using the same product for 6 washes is unimaginable to me😂 I don't think I'm physically capable. Literally. I'm a creature of habit & I guarantee I'll accidentally condition my hair & then I'd have to start 6 washes over again! It's a pass for me!
I would argue those advertisements that real hair is absolutely designed to have certain "products" sitting on top of it. The scalp produces sebum and oils more than most parts of the body, presumably because it helped maintain/protect hair back when hair quality was important for driving evolution. (Because, you know, long hair meant a better chance at healthy babies.)
That claim raised my eyebrows too LOL. Like, hair is literally designed to be coated with oil. That's how it grows out of our heads. The conditioners and creams we put on are meant to replace the protection of the oils we are washing away with shampoo.
My hair stylist gave me this treatment and I am now using the home treatment. It’s AMAZINGG totally recommend!! I got specific instructions from my stylist on how to use so already knew but it really isn’t hard and it’s totally worth it.
Please Mel, can you do a video about scab hair? Or curly hair that is going natural recently but after doing relaxers for a long time? Maybe scientist Mel can do a take about the effects of relaxers and keratin straightening treatments on curly hair Please?
K18. It’s the only product of the bunch that goes the deepest into the hair strand. So you’ll get the best benefit from it and if you get it and don’t FEEL a difference just know it’s still working on the inside. Most people feel a major difference in their hair after using it but there has been a few people who don’t feel a difference and that’s okay, it’s not a pass if that’s the case so don’t worry.
Happy texture tuesdayyyyyyy , so cool , LOVE SCIENCE. ima be sticking with my twist strengthen the bond tho cuz it works and im a teen that can’t spend much on haircare lmao
I have been using this after bleaching my 3a curls and had great results after one use - thick bouncy curl definition! I hadnt realised i had to use it the following 6 washes. It makes sense, because after the 3rd wash, my curls were stringy and not defined. I was only using k18 once a month. I was introduced to this product in the salon and purchased the 15ml to try it. It may be small, but it still goes a long way. I will be restarting my treatment and applying it up to 6 washes. Thankyou! I really do recommend this product if your hair is chemically and/or heat damaged.
My go to stylist first used olaplex on my hair and I left happy - but I walked in with silk smooth hair and walked out with hair visibly different as the cuticles were open. However, on round 2 she used K18 and my hair felt incredible and looked as sleek and shiny as when I walked in. I guess it depends on hair type etc. I'm definitely going to buy it.
I’m not curly but I’ve had a good experience using this to product for about a year and a half now. I dye, tone and bleach my hair at home. I find K18 works best when applied directly after shampooing out bleach or rinsing out color, towel drying before applying. When apply it when my cuticle is open from color processing, it has a dramatic result. When I apply it just after using clarifying shampoo, no matter how heavy duty that clarifying treatment is, it’s kind of meh. It’s a game changer for my color processing routine.
THIS is the info im searching for! As a stylist… i want to know how it works / is it worth it vs olaplex during the color process. Not so worried about home mask treatment
@@chenelled6086 I’m glad you find my experience helpful. I actually use K18 first, right after rinsing/shampooing out and towel drying. I give it the full 4 minutes to work. Then I don’t rinse, keep K18 in and apply Olaplex No 2. (Olaplex No 3 would work if you don’t have access to No 2) I let it sit for 15-45 minutes, since I’m doing this at home and time isn’t money. I shampoo out the K18/Olaplex mask after 45 minutes. Then I condition. I find the combination of K18 & Olaplex No 2/No 3 makes it that if my hair isn’t 90% recovered from the color process, it’s 100%. Either near-like nothing happened or totally like nothing happened. But this is how I treat my own hair at home, I don’t know if that would be feasible for clients in-salon.
K18 transformed my colored/bleached curls. I noticed immediate difference after one use but after 3-4 treatments with the leave in, my curls looked as soft and healthy as they did before the color. I have blonde/cool caramel balyage on nearly black hair. Love this product. Life changing!
I haven’t even started the video yet. But I’ve always used olaplex and it was good! But I just had K18 used on my hair and it was amazing so I just ordered me some of my own😂
Amazing and honest review. Was so satisfied when you called out their marketing tactics. You're such a trustworthy influencer. The K-18 treatment seems too expensive and has too much requirements for me. I'm gonna try Olaplex instead.
Honestly I’ve used and own both professional olaplex 1 and 2 and also the professional k18 mist plus the at home products on my extremely bleach damaged hair. Olaplex does absolutely nothing at all to help reduce breakage or repair TRULY damaged bleached hair. Whatever smoothing it does shampoos right out and I’ve also never noticed any damage prevention. K18 on the other hand does help reduce breakage and the effects are longer lasting for me than olaplex. However, if your hair is actually damaged to the point of extreme breakage, neither is magical and neither will halt breakage. The best thing I’ve done for my bleached hair to try to grow it out is simply not washing it every day. I try to wash every 5 days and I incorporate k18 and I redkens acidic bonding concentrate line which is also way better than olaplex. Also, for anyone reading - my hair in general was doing ok despite breakage until I used aphogee 2 step. This made my hair come off in chunks and it never recovered. Stay far away from aphogee! I also was not using any protein treatments prior. A stylist told me to stop using olaplex because it has a lot of protein too. Does it actually? Idk. But I settled on only redkens acidic bonding concentrate line and k18 and hardly washing my hair until it grows out 🥲 Just my two cents
@@sara.m88 very welcome! Good luck with whichever you chose! I know olaplex works for a lot of people, it just has never worked at all on my hair but K18 has ☺️ I’m going to continue using it and hopefully once I’ve grown out the extreme damage I can see more benefits on “regular” bleach damage 😁
@@xxo5294 I don't colour my hair but because it's so fine it's more prone to damage and breakage. I don't have serious damage since I began my curly hair journey 3 years ago but I still get a lot of split ends. I haven't tried Olaplex yet so we'll see what results I can get from. I use the Curlsmith Bond Salve and I notice beautiful defined curls whenever I use it , but I don't think it really repairs any damage . Also, Olaplex doesn't contain protein.
K18 is an awesome product. It HAS to be used correctly or your results may not be optimal...and I mean HAS to be used correctly!!! I used once with my hair not wet enough and whoooo it made my hair crunchy and dry. My (bleached blonde) hair was breaking off everywhere but now it's healthy and strong thanks to K18
Been using this for about 5 months.... I even did it then put an olaplex 2 on after the 4 minutes.... my hair was way too soft after that and wouldn’t hold a curl at all 😂 I’m naturally fine texture and wavy now my hair is longer but have a 2curl when it’s at shoulder length with grown out baby lights and balayage. My hair definitely feels stronger with less breakage, but won’t hold tonged curls anymore, they just fall out whereas before they would stay for days until my next wash.
I just got 3 of the Olaplex products and im excited for them, ive used the hair mask before and really liked it. I've been eyeing the k18 though not gonna lie🤣🤣
I’ve used olaplex and k18. Olaplex brought out my natural texture of my hair, wavy. K18 made my hair smooth and my hair appears more straight. Feels thin for some reason. If I have to choose , it will be olaplex
yes olaplex for life! since i started using olaplex my natural texture is just… thriving. been heat styling and fighting my texture for over a decade and only a couple uses has my waves and ringlets looking so luscious!
So I relaxed ( at home) my hair after years of being natural. My hair was very healthy but, it definitely was brittle after relaxing- no elasticity and some breakage. I am on my first month of k18 and I have seen a lot of improvement. My hair looks /feels comparable to my natural hair straightened - blow out only no flat ironing. It’s kind of a game changer. I have no damage shedding. The strands that shed normally are stronger. So idk if you are really putting your hair through it, it’s worth the protection. I haven’t gone back to Olaplex but I might alternate for a bit and see how it goes.
I’m confused…is it or is it NOT ok to deep condition hair while using this? K18 has alcohol so Ive heard it can be drying and if we’re also clarifying at every wash, that’s going to create even more dryness.
I’d say it’s fine if you don’t wash too often. If you’re an every day or every other day washer, it might get to be a bit much but you really have to just play around with it like other products.
My 2c hair hated K18, took a couple of weeks of intense moisture treatments to get it back to were it was before K18. I also don't like the Olaplex treatment either. Maybe my real undamaged hair is coarse and dry, lol, because that is how these treatments make it feel.
I fell into that trap... my hair is currently virgin and it's just coarse in texture so can easily feel dry. Years ago I was a platinum blonde so was all on the bind builder protein treatments, olaplex etc. You name I used it for my blonde as I figured that's why it was looking so nice. But after I grew out my natural hair and kept its color and it truly was healthier I should've let most of those treatments go. Sure a protein treatment and moisture... but the rest is truly unnecessary for me at this point. I think it's the "it can always be better" thinking and just breaking the cycle.
I received a free sample of this a few months ago. I tried it, but there wasn't enough for the 6 washes, so I ended up purchasing one. I really didn't see any difference in the health of my hair. I don't bleach or dye my hair, but I do heat style it occasionally. When I do, I use at least 3 different kinds of heat protection, so I suppose there really isn't much damage. It is definitely true, if your hair is healthy, this isn't going to do you much good. Just leave it for for those who do need it and spend your money elsewhere.
I don't color or chemically treat my hair, but sometimes( once or twice a month) blow out straight. Is k18 something that will make my curly hair "better" somehow even if not very damaged?
I’m wondering why your bleached hair looks smoother, softer and so much better, while your virgin dark hair at the roots is frizzier, seems more coarse and less smooth, any insights or explanations? I’ll be happy to bleach my hair if that’s the case!
OMG Mell and Amanda! 11:08! Such excellent work! I’m old and slow, yet I like to talk like the cool kids, so I had go back and see capping defo, and had the opportunity to rewatch that section a few times. And wow, chef’s kiss on that quasi-surprised pursed lips expression, Mell! And for splicing it in there all quick-like, Amanda! Still laughing with you! Love watching your videos, and will rewatch this one again a few times, just to make sure I caught all the great content! Thanks-watching this made for a great ending for my day!
Would this help if you only applied it to the ends? That's where my damage is mainly and I have very thick course hair so honestly I feel like if I used it everywhere it wouldn't go far enough to be worth the money🤷🏼♀️
As someone with curly hair on roaccutaine and having the life force sucked dry from my hair, i tried k18 the other day. AMAZING. Ive never had a product that has actually been a god send. And thats after one time. Ive always been mistrusting of hair products being recomended by people. But this is other worldy.
Great review! I have had both olaplex and K18 used in my hair in professional settings and for me, K18 was the outright winner. Post K18My hair looked as sleek and shiny as when I walked in ore-treatment. My hair is fine, silky smooth and shiny naturally. Post olaplex it had some frizz which my hair never had unless it's been highlighted and no bond/peptide treatment was used.
Hey Mell. Thanks for another great video. If you are using it for 6 consecutive washes, you said it should be used after clarifying your hair. If you wash your hair 1x a week could clarifying 1x/week cause your hair to get very dry?
Some people get dryer brittle hair from it. Is that like healthy hair that gets an overload (protein like?) Can it harm or ruin your hair if you use it while hair is healthy, and you use it!?😶😶😶😶😶😶 😶😶😶 Is it kind of like a keratin treatment!?
I don’t think the target customer is someone with healthy hair. The target customer is someone with damage in need of repair. And the people who are talking about getting dryer brittle hair are also people who are stressing their hair already by washing daily or incorrectly using clarifying shampoos. For healthy hair it is a waste because it’s not doing anything, there isn’t anything to repair. Keratin treatments are superficial only entering the cuticle layer not really penetrating to the medulla as k18 does.
Hi Mell, I have fine, short, curly hair that breaks constantly. My hair density is low from all the breakage. Could you kindly recommend a hair care routine to bring it back? Like Olaplex 3, followed by this shampoo, then this conditioner, this mask, this leave in conditioner, etc.
My hair is very low density, fine and curly. It breaks easily just from sleeping on it (even though sleeping and wraping in and on silk 😉). They claim to help even with these kind of problems. Do you think K18 is able to help extreme fine hair? I used it a few times now and it feels so much thicker… I’m very curious to see, if they will grow longer without breaking.
My hair is the same exact way but high density. Snaps at every touch because its too fine... Do you like K18 so far? I am tempted to try it now after reading your comment, been using olaplex for a year now with little difference.
@@Oliviap667 Hi there..after I apply the K18 I use the 4 minutes to comb it thru to get distributed in my hair..then follow with my leave-in conditioner...followed by my styling products. It's just a great product for my hair....I use once a month...alternate with Olaplex once maybe twice a month. I have been doing this regime for almost a year and see the benefits. K18 is pricey but worth it to me.
Thanks for this. This product line is making waves (pardon the pun) in the silver hair community and I don’t truly think anyone is using it properly. Silver hair in its natural state doesn’t need this.
@@sharroon7574 k18 and Olaplex are different but in general they were both created for bleach damaged hair. Just like medication if you don’t have the illness you don’t need the cure. Be careful with Olaplex and it building up, clarifying and moisturizing can help you avoid issues.
This isn’t true. You can use conditioner after the 4 mins is up. The company has clarified this. It could be normal or leave in. The key is just waiting the 4 mins with towel dried hair.
@@jeanallen5880 I guess they reply to comments saying the 4 mins is just needed for activation. Learned it in this video. I also sent them a dm myself to confirm. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WxpXPGsdWwA.html
My hair was great for the first 2 washes, then it started looking brittle and now I can't get it out of my hair. It felt like it was coated. I am hoping I can wash it out.
We have very hard water in Florida where I live and it’s damaged my hair so much to the point I can barely detangle my hair with a conditioner. This product is the ONLY thing that’s worked, as well as with a clarifying shampoo. This is an amazing technology they’ve created, but I have very dense and thick hair so I need more than 3-4 pumps and the price tag is definitely high but I’m so happy I found this because it actually works!
K18 basically did nothing for me (fine, medium density hair, long damaged but not severly). Personally I find the Aphogee 2 step protein treatment, Olaplex, and regular hair oiling to be MUCH better.
Since I tried the Curlsmith Rehab Salve I swear I will never need any other product. I doubt anything else could ever make my curls more shiny or bouncy than Curlsmith... especially not for $75!
@@easynails123 my hair is kind of medium/high porosity, low density. I find that it does a good job with hydration as well so I do get more definition after I use it. I do use a lot of product, but that may just be me (I tend to be heavy handed). BUT I always look for sales to stock up. Last time I purchased I got them buy 1 get 1 free! Hair is color treated with semi-permanent color just to color grays, not lightened.
I am confused because I sent an email to k18 and ask this question They said As long as you apply K18 first and wait 4 minutes then you can resume using your regular hair products, leave in conditioners, deep conditioners, rewet your hair, etc.
Yes, Mell! I saw the video from the fall recently and was just searching for your full review a few days ago. I'm 3 months into my journey and struggling SO HARD trying to bring my curls back after years of straightening in a super dry climate that my curls seem to hate! My second curly cut is coming up in a few weeks and you better believe my stylist will be getting a lot of questions about how to apply your knowledge to my situation!
Thanks so much for this Mell! I'm a skincare/haircare consultant at Sephora in Toronto and all this information is amazing for my knowledge for clients! Thanks for your thoroughness and honesty, I know it's so much work to truly test a product comprehensively! You're the best! And thanks Amanda for the concise, entertaining edits as always!
My hair is not color treated and I have not used heat on it for many months, but for some reason, it is still breaking at the root. I’m starting to use Olaplex again, but I am just so worried about all of the breakage! In your opinion, would this treatment be any different than Olaplex?
