I’ve got some good rods and loads of good fishing gear from Temu. You really need to know what your buying. Reels and lures are particularly good if you know what your buying.
i cant believe you got that off temu im a new fisherman 12 years and would realy like a starter fishing set to get me going love the content keep the grind going
I just got a couple of their reels. A 10000 size spinning reel and a baitcaster. I'm in the process of upgrading them. Carbonex washers and ceramic hybrid bearings. 😆
It does kind of oxidise over time tho, it goes a little darker, a little more on the green side, if you have really sweaty hands or greasy fingers and touch brass, they’ll corrode it slightly. But yeah it doesn’t just rust away like fkn mild steel shit does
It’s all a matter of preference but they all do the same thing. I use a lot of reels people say are poor quality and catch lots of fish with no problem with the reels. I enjoy showing up my buddies with the expensive equipment with the cheap stuff.😂😂😂😂
U mean are the sealed ? Salt prof probably not grease up And go all my early Penn reels weren’t sealed and Iam 64 and still have them I’ve retired them to drift catfish rigs brass drives washers grease and those reels been on more tuna than I can count sandbass halibut
I think there is good and bad of all products. Temu makes everyone scared because of the cheap price. I've gotten good and bad products from temu and Amazon
Looks like you guys had a good time ! I have some Temu gear and have been ordering from them for several months. Some of it good, some mediocre. No ordering issues, always makes it here. The flimsy rods probably better suited for 1000 size reels for some fun ultralight fishing.
Thanks man for this, I'm looking at Temu atm, thinking about their reels for a couple of my rods, so interesting this subject research, thanks again. Serve you right for bringing the lady with you lol!
Stumbled across this video when looking for something to help my spool my new line onto my new reels, really enjoyed it keep up the good work and good luck with the channel buddy. All the best from North Wales UK
My husband eats, sleeps and breathes catfishing in the Ohio River. We have a barn full of fishing gear. I'm experimenting with Temu. Any advice with a good spinning rod/ reel combo to add to his collection
Hi, nice video. I enjoyed it. You are a fishing addict like me, but I do not have equipment. Is the offer still available? (give away. I really need it.)
Im on my 14th order. Great 1000 series spinning reel i rank above my shimano! All lures have been great. 2 rods, 1 medium action tip 1 fast. Terminal tackle is good, and havnt had my cc jacked! Will do much more buisness with them😂
last reel handle that folds are junk. i had similar from temu. 2nd fish it broke at fold point. took handle off one of my better spares and good to go. rest of reel works fine
When I got into bass fishing my first baitcast reel was that exact brand had it for six Yeats and still going strong I've caught catfish on that thing same colors also black and gold
My own personal opinion is if I can help it, I stay away from made in china, my grandmother is chinese, so being racist is out of the question. It's a question of material quality and durability, and many products that are made from china are counterfeit taken from legitimate companies that spend money on research and development. When it comes to fishing, reels, especially saltwater reels, name brands, their design are water tight sealed designs and tough materials that are corrosive resistant to saltwater. That's what makes these reels more expensive compared to cheap reels that are made in china. But it will still be based on individual preference, my own personal opinion.
