SERIOUSLY GOOD VIDEO. I would also advise that if your handicap is more than 24, this video will not help you. Maybe even over 18 hdcp. You have more serious problems than perfecting your type of wedge selection. Such as developing a good swing and putting. Wedges cost a fortune these days and you don't want to shell out the money for the wrong ones. When playing with friends, try out their wedges first. Ie wedge shots of all parts of the short game. That's real game testing. You're not going to learn anything off of a practice mat and computer screen. You need to see the full shots flight path and response on the green in hot or clod weather.

Jordan plays a lot of leading edge with his wedges, so 4 degrees makes sense for him.

I now have a high bounce 56, and low bounce 60 (4deg). Previously I had a high bounce 60, and used to blade all my 10-20ft chip shots around the green on hard ground. The new setup has really changed my game!

I played low bounce wedges for forever, like 30 years. I switched to higher bounce wedges and found it's like cheating and I can still hit all the shots I like to hit.

Hi Parker, third club, higher bounce gives more spin? Why?

Found a SM8 58° 14° K that was basically new at my local shop for $80 over the weekend. It's absolutely amazing and works a dream out of the bunker. I will hold onto my 60° 8° for when I head to a especially firm course but my avg muni is great for this K. I was shocked at how much I liked the high bounce and the big fat sole. Experimenting is a good thing 😀

Surprised Parker didn't have a D-grind in the mix. Might have worked well with the higher bounce and a little more versatile than the K-grind.

Really well done and interesting. I have collected just about every version in my garage. I stuck with low bounce sexy. But, today I’m going to hit the practice tee with some of the higher bounce versions and see if I have been living a lie! Thanks guys!
